  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🌽 WHAT AN A-MAIZE-ING CROP!🌽

🎶 CORN in the truck, CORN in the field…CORN in the bottom of a moonshine still…CORN in a kettle, CORN in a skillet..CORN in a jug, hot damn, you can feel it… Man, LOOK AT ALL THAT CORN..Yeah, ALL THAT CORN…🎶…”Corn” – .Blake Shelton 2021 https://tinyurl.com/mw4cntnj

🌽They stood beside their truck amazed…the IMAGE warmed their hearts,
No ERROR had occurred this year…the weather played a part…
With nothing FORMAL in their lives, just happy working land,
This yield TRIPLE their normal haul…much more than they had planned
This bumper crop a boon for them…profits will last all year…
No wonder they can’t help but stand grinning FROM EAR TO EAR! 🌽

Today…Farmers thrilled over having grown such an abundance of corn…And we don’t even need to STALK this one over…An extremely easy, breezy puzzle – EARS and EARS of corn, wide SMILES across the FACES of our Farmers, and an age-old idiom about GRINNING…The solve staring us right in the FACE..Our farmers were grinning…FROM EAR TO EAR… https://tinyurl.com/v6a7ukca …And SHUCKS…there wasn’t a KERNEL of doubt that we wouldn’t have a FIELD day with this one…We’d be a bunch of FLAKES if this solve didn’t just POP right into our heads!…CORNgratulations are in order!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And remember to always walk gingerly around CORN FLAKES…you’d hate to be accused of being a CEREAL killer…🌽🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤞🏻The IMAGE of his children dressed in their FORMAL attire caused him to smile FROM EAR TO EAR, and he hoped that when it came time for the TRIPLE ceremony no ERROR would occur…🤞🏻

🤦🏻‍♂️The ERROR blew the TRIPLE play, the game might now be lost,
The FORMAL call to be announced…it was a lousy toss…
The IMAGE of it crushing…and now he had to bear…
His rival manager’s pure joy…grinning FROM EAR TO EAR…🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. Wow ! Great way to end or cap the week Saturday ! One anagram that really got me was the one I made an ERROR on ! Very tough one to find a home ! The others were all there ! The jumble made me smile just like the farmers FROM EAR TO EAR ! What a great way to end a week ! Loved your joke Angela ! Cereal killer , how funny ! He probably felt like a flake ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!’

  5. CORN…now there’s a song for the ages. But much more interesting than “Corn being as high as an elephant’s eye”…Lordy, who woulda’ thought !! Marsha told me it was gonna be a blind solve. I am always filled with trepidation after that, but she was right. And easy anagrams to follow led to a nice start to the weekend. Nothing more to add except another great joke. Nice posting Angela. (and BTW, my first post didn’t go through…a message came up saying “your message couldn’t be posted”…I think from WordPress. Oh well)

    • Tks, Terry…But trepidation? C’mon…would Marsha stEAR you wrong? 😉 And yes, Word Press the guilty party. You’d be a-MAIZE-d at the havoc they can cause…🤦🏻‍♀️🌽

  6. 🗣️“EAR Ye, EAR Ye” is what they did shout,
When they saw so much corn all about…
    Might need a second truck,
So much corn now to shuck…
They’re so stunned by how much corn did sprout! 🗣️

👏🏻👏🏻 In the past though they hoped that they could,
They’d no idea it would be this good…
    To grow such an amount,
    That they’d easily lose count…
And they feel proud…as well as they should!👏🏻👏🏻

🌽Planted corn in a row after row,
Watched and waited hoping all would grow…
And now what they have here,
    Piles of ear over ear…
Yes they hoped…but they hardly could know! 🌽

👍🏻Winter now should be an easy one,
With their harvesting having been done…
    Bumper crop yes, indeed,
    All from those little seeds…
This year’s yield definitely second to none! 👍🏻

🌽 🌽So our Farmers are happy for sure,
After the hard work they did endure…
Here’s to this year’s great crop,
And the hope it won’t stop…
Fingers crossed from now on there’ll be more! 🌽🌽

  7. Good morning. You would have thought today was Monday it was that easy all around. I even had a no-brainer of a blind solve. I didn’t even put the letters down to double check I was that sure I was correct. I enjoyed your Blake Shelton song Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

      • If you ask me, today’s puzzle was kind of “corny,” don’t you think?

        • Didn’t think the first one went through so I sent it again with an add on. To your return comment, I live by Lake Ontario which is next to Lake “Ear” ie. Now I’m all “punned” out for the day

          • You probably didn’t see my first reply because you didn’t post your comment as a new entry…you did it as a reply to Paul’s comment…that’s what caused the CORNfusion…As for being punned out…you had your foot in the door with the F-LAKES…😉It’s a-MAIZE-ing how much one can DISH up with CORN! Enjoy your day, SHEAVE…I mean Steve! 😉🌽🙋🏻‍♀️

            • You out-punned me. I feel that you “pun”ished me. You’re the champ. Enjor the rest of the day as well.

  8. Don’t you think that today’s jumble was kind of “corny”? I saw the answer right away, I just couldn’t “ear” it!!!
