We’re only talking ice cream here…some def do sound inane But today with our passengers …there’ll be no Seaside VILLA… The general consensus? It comes down to “PLANE” VANILLA! 🍦
It’s funny…My family loves to tell me that I’m lucky I know where I live…(harsh…I’m not THAT forgetful)….and yet, for some reason…it comes to the Jumble? I’m like a bloodhound! Today’s solve immediately rang a bell…and sure enough, back on September 26th of 2021 https://tinyurl.com/26udz7dw we had a puzzle along the same AIRLINE…I mean line…Only that day, it dealt with Cream Cheese…And before that, on July 28th, 2013, we were TREATed to this: “After being served a bagel in first-class, the passenger wanted”…and “PLANE” Cream Cheese was DISHED OUT that day as well…But DAIRY I say, it’s PLANE to see that today’s puzzle is pretty much a TAKE OFF of those SCHEDULED earlier…and we’re taking the same ROUTE…
OK…FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS…and let’s FLY…While one of the Early Birds encountered a little TURBULENCE with Funnel…(he was concentrating on UN as a prefix and just couldn’t get past it…so he decided to just HANGAR up)…when it came to the solve…they all FLEW right through it…
So…Today in mid-flight, we find Darryl STRAWBERRY and his wife, Halle BERRY (who kept her maiden name), being served ice cream. And from the gist of our dialogue it’s pretty PLANE to see that it’s that old STAND BY, VANILLA, BEAN that it’s so popular…And while Halle may have opted for another flavor had it been available, Darryl, not one to CHANGE UP (Darryl…? Change up?… If you know, you know) is totally ON BOARD with it. And the flight attendant, BREYERS De CALMA, assures them that everyone seems to like it…PLANE and simple…So…to REACH OUR DESTINATION here today? If nothing else, with the word Airline in our question, our characters shown seated in a PLANE, and VANILLA being an obvious choice…you add the quotation marks into the equation, letting us know that David planned a little whimsical FLIGHT of fancy with one of our words…And this one’s a RUNWAY…I mean a runaway…The most popular ice cream served?…”PLANE” VANILLA …https://tinyurl.com/yc3849ww …And we’ve brought another one in for a LANDING..

It was mealtime and she asked him if he’d like some dinner. “What are my choices”?, he asked. “Yes or no”, she replied…Guess we need be grateful for that vanilla ice cream! 🍦🙋🏻♀️

🍦Comes to snacking…ice cream takes the cake, Whether dished up or in a milk shake… Be it soft-serve or not, It sure hits the spot… With ice cream…yes, everything’s jake…🍦
👍🏻Seems all ages are happy to eat, This long-time enjoyable treat… And while our tastes may vary, (People can be contrary)… There’s no way ice cream can be beat…👍🏻
🍦And yes, flavors are very diverse, Ice cream shops are so quick to disperse… Any mixture you choose, There’s no way one can lose… When it’s ice cream? Seems no one’s averse…🍦

Hello taco-Tuesday ! A 100% of solves of the anagrams and the jumble ! All the anagrams came to me nice and smooth ! The jumble , being in an aircraft and the most popular ice cream left me with PLANE VANILLA ! It came right to me also ! I was introduced to Vanilla Bean ice cream a few years ago… (Breyers, I think) and it has stood the test of time. Still my go-to choice. Yes, I understood the “change-up” reference. Definitely a blind solve Taco Tuesday, with easy anagrams to boot. Must go back and re-examine cartoon puzzle to find out how Angela knew it was Darryl and Haile. Enjoy your day. Terry

PLANE has four anagrams. Yes, it’s PLANE VANILLA because it is served on a plane (hope no snakes in it). But it could also be NEPAL VANILLA; maybe the ice cream or the recipe comes from Nepal.
