    🐎 So Nathan was the ALPHA male, out on his PORCH he’d rest,
    Between races he’d sit and think how he DEFIED the best…
    The AGENCY of Jockeys had doubts he’d win a race…
    And things went well ‘til Maybe-lline ran foul the CHANGE OF PACE…🐎

    Granted, I am a victim of right-left disorientation, and I am still under the weather…But if our horse, who I’ve dubbed MAYBE-lline, is sporting #1, wouldn’t he have run this race at the coveted first position at the inside gate, since North American Thoroughbred races typically assign program numbers based on post positions? 🤷🏻‍♀️

    …But he’s heard telling his Jockey, Nathan, NEIGH for short, that he came in last because his position was CHANGEd to the outside, which played havoc with his PACE. Change is hard for a lot of Folks…but in this case, it’s MAYBE-lline, our anthropomorphic horse, who couldn’t get it thoroughbred, I mean through his head, that it’s really just MIND over MATTER…It shouldn’t have MATTERed what position he was out of the gate…A horse with three wins already under his bridle? With that much stamina and confidence?…Worried about JOCKEYing for position?…Please…He shouldn’t be SADDLED with such thoughts…IMO, it was all in his MIND…For a CHANGE OF PACE… https://tinyurl.com/48fz295m …Maybe he just needs to take off the BLINDERS… https://tinyurl.com/4635keh7 literally, and figuratively…

    The payouts on the tote board read: 31.10 – 9.10 and 2.50…And we’re seeing VICTOR, the Jockey, his arm in the air, thinking he’s a STUD, sitting atop the winner, MAPLE STIRRUP…Who’s wearing a hood…but where’s his bridle? I swear, this puzzle has me RUNNING in CIRCLES…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and one final thought. With a horse having won his last three races, as a rule, an owner would be staying MANE-ly with the same Jockey…So doesn’t it stand to reason that Neigh would know where his horse felt the most comfortable? Wouldn’t he know what went wrong?…What the HAY? I mean I’m not looking to STIRRUP any trouble, but as I MANEtioned earlier, IMO, this should have never been such a tale of WHOA…Who knows …Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s the meds…Maybe it’s MAYBE-lline…🐎 🙋🏻‍♀️

I had suzie help me today and we both got all the anagrams , then the jumble with the horses and something different in the last race had me juggling a few for work , but CHANGE i got , then suzie said PACE and the two letters left , gave us the CHANGE OF PACE ! Nice Thursday jumble to quench my thirst ! Glad you’re feeling better Angela ! Everyone have a great !

  5. Good morning. Took a little time for that light bulb to go off but when it finally did, two of the words and the cartoon answer came to me. Remembered the movie and that song of which was enjoyable. Hope you’re back in good health Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Alpha and defied gave me reason to pause, I worked backwards from the blind cartoon solution , needing the E,F and E led to the defied anagram solution. Wishing Angela a better feeling recovery.
