Good Morning, Everyone…🎪 THE YOKE’S ON HIM 🎪
🎶 Be A CLOWN, Be A CLOWN…All The World Loves A CLOWN…🎶 “Be A Clown” – Gene Kelly & Judy Garland 1948 http://tinyurl.com/3yuy4hw3
🎪 So PRIOR to the circus, I wonder what he did,
At 6’9” let’s GRANT him, not easy to be hid…
He probably did MUDDLE through a wardrobe snag or two,
Even the GLOBAL market likely didn’t give him due
But now in this profession he can much more easily shop…
He found the perfect tailor for clothes UNDER THE BIG TOP! 🎪
Ladies and Gentleman..Welcome to today’s MAIN EVENT…The BIG TOP, indeed! Literally and figuratively…Our clown performs UNDER THE BIG TOP http://tinyurl.com/y7nz7s6j = the CIRCUS, and at 6’9” and 350 pounds…he definitely needs a BIG TOP! …And with our question giving us 1- the size of our clown, 2- CIRCUS, and 3- SHIRT…A BIG TOP…this one…UNDER THE BIG TOP is a 3-RING winner for sure!
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I wonder what fabric was used to make that Big Top…Probably polyJESTER…🎪🙋🏻♀️
* After I published this, I discovered that I incorrectly identified the second clown. It’s not Pierrot, it’s Puddles, of “Puddles Pity Party”….And the significance with him being featured is that he’s touring right now. He stands 6’8” tallhttp://tinyurl.com/k8ma437e 🤡🙋🏻♀️ http://tinyurl.com/tehyf9tk

🎪 The circus act, labeled “UNDER THE BIG TOP”, hoped to get a GRANT PRIOR to their leaving for the GLOBAL tour…and if not would need to find the financial means to MUDDLE through…🎪
🤷🏻♂️The course was GLOBAL Warming and the teacher said he’d GRANT,
A curve as far as grading went… but yet the teen still can’t…
Get his mind on the subject, PRIOR to any test,
And does no more than MUDDLE through…he’s behind all the rest
The only thing he thinks about…causing his grades to flop…
Is joining circus people who work UNDER THE BIG TOP…🤷🏻♂️

My thirst was quenched today on this thirsty-Thursday jumble ! The only road I got lost on was one of the anagrams , cause I didn’t see GLOBAL ! The rest were there ! The jumble , with the one word in front of “ THE “ , I tried IN , ON, then I said to myself , what about UNDER ! Well , that left BIG TOP , which is what a circus is under ! So it was fun and entertaining ! And Angela that was the first time I saw Judy Garland and Gene Kelly do that song ! It was really fun ! And you were right with your details of the top and clown and circus , very good ! So I hope everyone got their thirst quenched today ! Have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!!!

No problems at all this morning…there were enough clues, plus the picture of a BIG clown UNDER his BIG TOP….to make for a blind solve. Anagrams posed no problems, either. So a good Thirsty Thursday was made better with a tuneful Cole Porter song from an old Hollywood musical. And Angela…what is the significance of PIERROT ?? Thanks for your posting. Terry

YW, Terry and tk you. Pierrot? I don’t know. There was need for a second clown and I guess Jeff just didn’t want to go generic. It’s all I can think of…not saying that something may have gone right over my head. 🎪🙋🏻♀️

Ok, Terry…Mystery solved. Seems I got the wrong clown…🤷🏻♀️…It’s not Pierrot, it’s Puddles. And the significance with him being there is that he’s touring right now. He’s 6’8” tall…🤡🙋🏻♀️ http://tinyurl.com/tehyf9tk

Good morning. It’s been smooth sailing when it comes to the words but then total failure on the cartoon answers mostly for this week. Simple finale answer but I’m not tuned in lately. We will see if the funk continues tomorrow. Loved your song choice Angela. She was entertaining and enjoyable to watch. Until tomorrow take care.

The global anagram was a recent repeat, as I recall thinking it was the playground game ‘goball’ rather than ‘global’ the last time it was an anagram. I recalled the prior problem I had with it, corrected it today on the way to a quick solve of the cartoon as well, with big top being obvious 3 letter word solutions and the complete ‘ under the big top’ solution. Chuck.
