    🐕 I’ll start this off by saying GRANT and INNING?…Not so much,
    They just don’t work our scene…despite my trying rhymes and such…
    We’re dealing with a wayward pup, seen barking up a tree,
    Hrs made his owner WOOZY…with what she’s been forced to see…
    So much time dod she EXPEND getting her garden just right,
    Only to find it uprooted…and the dog off in flight.
    She’s angry and her husband says…”Try to calm down a bit”…
    But this isn’t the first time so she’s saying…”DOG-GONE-IT”! 🐕

    Ok…This one’s so easy, breezy, we can just cut right to the CHASE.

    Today, we see a DOG, BARK Whalberg,, upsetting his owners, Rose and Bud.
    And BARK has tunneled under the fence…and now he’s GONE. So Rose, our lady-in-hating the mess she’s found with her flowers all DOG up, along with Bud, are thinking…”DOG-GONE-IT”… https://tinyurl.com/5d2u97re ..a well-known idiom expressing IRRIGATION, oh I mean irritation…with an emphasis on exasperation…since it’s not the first time this dog has PAWSED a problem…And that solve was way too easy to DIG UP…with our SPOT on dialogue and the tell-TAIL quotation marks…

    …As for the culprit of a Collie? Bark can be seen in the neighbor’s yard, free as a bird, unLEASHing his anger, barking up a tree…either at a bird, or most likely a squirrel…Bark goes NUTS when he sees squirrels. In fact, maybe that’s why he tunneled out in the first place…he just can’t seem to LEAF them alone…And the overturned gnome, with a surprised look on his face, holding a spade? Sadly, COLLIE-teral damage…They should have GNOME better than to leave him in that SPOT…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And maybe next time they should plant COLLIE-flowers…he might be less prone to dig those up…🐕🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤦🏻‍♂️Feeling WOOZY, and not looking to EXPEND any more energy than necessary, he couldn’t help but think DOGGONE IT when he had to leave the GRANT-Hayes game in the fifth INNING…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🤞🏻He knew they would GRANT him a plaque, but still his nerves were taut,
    He felt a little WOOZY and some water’s what he sought…
    Aware they did EXPEND a lot of time on all the plans,
    And now he’s to be honored in front oh so many fans…
    He’ll walk upon the field right after 7th INNING stretch,
    And hope his nervousness don’t reduce him into a wretch…
    It’s fingers crossed there’s no faux pas he’d dreadfully commit…
    He’d hate to end the night by having to say DOGGONE IT! 🤞🏻

  4. It was a DOG-GONE nice way to start Saturday morning…a blind solve and easy anagrams. Enjoyed the song, Angela….and smiled at the thought of planting Collie-flowers !!

  5. Great way to end the week and cap it on Saturday ! The anagrams were great , but one word could go two ways ! EXPEND , I thought was PENDEX ! But I saw the light and laughed ! The jumble was really fun ! When they call a dog by the breed , one of the words is usually DOG ! So “ I got it “ ! This week has been a fun and entertaining week ! I too liked the Collie-flower ! Angela , you are the director of all the categories ! Everyone have a good weekend !!!!!

  6. Good morning. Today was a gift. Easy words and an easier blind solve. The quotation marks made the answer dog gone easy for me finally. You couldn’t have picked a more fitting song to go with todays theme Angela and I enjoyed your posts. Until tomorrow take care.

  7. A clean sweep of the anagrams along with a blind solve of the cartoon even though the lack of a paper newspaper, being a Saturday, required me to access and solve the puzzle online!
