    🗣️ A NOTARY in the off-season, the Ump did like this job,
    Some players did ANNOY him…and some did call him a snob…
    Last year a PLAQUE was given him, a SKULL and two crossed bones,
    He laughed it off and thought about the old rhyme, sticks and stones
    His spirit still remained intact…his will would not be broken…
    Despite the player here and there who truly was OUTSPOKEN…🗣️

    It’s been a while since we’ve seen a puzzle with a Baseball theme…so it’s nice to see our guys come to BAT…And it’s somewhat odd not to have either of the sides playing for the Jumble team… Hmm..May be a. FIRST…a whole new BALL GAME!

    So…Today we find ourselves at a ball game, albeit not in the majors. And the player being called OUT isn’t taking it LYING down. He accuses the Umpire of making a bad call…and despite being told to calm down by his Coach, he’s SPEAKING OUT in his DEFENSE…(no pun intended)! But the Ump’s not buying it…and it’s SAFE to say our batter’s PLAYING with fire, and is this 🤏🏻 close to being thrown OUT of the game…by the OUTSPOKEN Umpire…for RUNNING his mouth…and being so…OUTSPOKEN! https://tinyurl.com/ycy9v4jh

  3. 🗣️It did ANNOY many of the members that the NOTARY on staff had such a problem with the SKULL PLAQUE, and they were very OUTSPOKEN about it…🗣️

    🦷 The NOTARY definitely needed to get it into his SKULL,
    That the PLAQUE build up had made his teeth appear increasingly dull…His old dentist did ANNOY him, and a bond had long been broken…
    But he needed find a new one…said his wife …very OUTSPOKEN! 🦷

    But instead he saw his bubble burst…
    ‘Cause the Ump called him out,
    Which then caused him to shout…
    And resulted in things getting worse…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🗣️He resorted to the age old line,
    ‘Bout the Ump probably being blind…
    Which just made the Ump warn,
    “You need quit with the scorn…
    ‘Cause you’re getting yourself in a bind”…🗣️

    🤷🏻‍♂️And the base coach is trying his best,
    By giving the guy’s arm a wrest…
    Telling him to keep calm,
    But he’s lacking aplomb…
    And is fearing he’s failing the test…🤷🏻‍♂️

    👎🏻 Ump says, “One more word and you’ll be tossed”,
    And right now it’s the Ump who’s the boss…
    So our player need heed,
    What his coach is heard plead…
    Or our player’s really facing loss…👎🏻

    🤷🏻‍♂️ Did our player really beat the throw,
    Guess it’s something that we’ll never know…
    But one thing you can bank,
    Mess with the Ump? You’ll tank…
    Most times it’s best to just let it go…🤷🏻‍♂️

  6. Alright ! Got me some rest and ended the work week Friday with all the anagrams and jumble solves ! The anagrams did not ANNOY me , so this goes on a PLAQUE! One anagram had me knocking my SKULL cause it took some thinking , so I went and got it notarized and I thanked the NOTARY ! Now , the jumble , as soon as I saw that he was not safe at first , then I knew he was OUT ! And he couldn’t argue with anyone cause he was OUTSPOKEN ! Great Friday jumble ! Everyone have a good day !!!!!

  7. Didn’t see the solution right away, so dug out the anagrams and it was an easy finish up. Good song, Angela. Think I’ve seen that riddle before, but escapes me at the moment. Enjoy TGIF….another hot one today !!

  10. Good morning. Was slowed down by notary and the cartoon answer for awhile but prevailed. Enjoyed the song Angela but didn’t know the singers name. If he was with three other names in a multiple choice question I would have gotten it wrong. Until tomorrow take care and if I’m not going out on a limb, May The Force Be With You.

  13. Got it! Great narrative today, Angela, and that was a really good CATCH on your part noting that the first baseman is left-handed! I did not see that! Years ago, a majority of first base players were left-handed because of the advantage of having the glove slightly closer to the infield throw, and being able to scoop bad throws from the dirt.
