FAROTM = FORMAT

CARTOON ANSWER:

BRIREICOAFRT = TERRIFIC “BOAR”

Good Tuesday morning my friends!  It’s day 2 of Guest Jumbler Week and a very interesting puzzle was given to us by Rich Powell.  I thought the puzzle was going to be a cinch when the first word was BRICK.  Our old friend RELIC was next and I didn’t get stumped a bit.  I’ve had trouble with it in the past but not this time.  I just couldn’t get the next two words so I put the puzzle down and started my morning routine.  After dropping the kids off at school I attempted the words again and finally figured them out.  They were masterfully jumbled and I took my time and didn’t rush.  With all the clue words completed I took my letters and headed straight for the cartoon.  Seeing the words Einswine, sow, disgruntled and Swinefeld, I figured the answer would be pig related. The first letter from the solved clue words was B and I looked further down the line and OA was together and BOAR came into view.  TERRIFIC came quickly from the remaining letters for a very funny pun!  A big THANK YOU to Mr. Powell for a great Jumble and I’ll definitely be checking out his work on “Wide Open!”.  Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀

NEDRT = TREND

ESEGE = GEESE

OYPRET = POETRY

GNEEDL = LEGEND

CARTOON ANSWER:

TEEEEPRGD = “PET – DEGREE”

Good morning everyone and happy Monday!  I was excited to see that it was Guest Jumbler week when I clicked on my iPad this morning.  It’s always fun to change things up a bit so let’s get down to business.  Great word choices this morning that were well jumbled.  I paused on GEESE just to make sure I had the correct word as it’s one you don’t see very often.  With all the clue words accounted for I wrote down my letters and moved on to the cartoon.  Mr. Peters’ drawing was wonderful and I had a hunch as to what the answer was going to be.  With all the E’s in the puzzle and Grimm holding what appears to be a diploma, I wrote down DEGREE which left PET for a quick solve.  Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

CARTOON ANSWER:

CLRSHGEUPINSSIK = PRESSING HIS LUCK

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday!  I’d like to say a special thank you to Geraldo for emailing me the puzzle this morning.  There were six great clue word choices this morning that were very well jumbled.  I was stuck right out of the gate on CLEVER.  It didn’t take too long to figure it out and I managed to get the rest of the clue words without difficulty.  The cartoon was well drawn and I always enjoy the fact that it’s in color on Sunday.  There were so many letters in the cartoon answer including an 8 letter word!  I assumed that HIS was the three letter word and crossed those letters out.  This was the point where I started thinking about what the long word was.  Nothing came into view and there was an “ING” so I crossed those out. The two “SS” together in the letters let me find PRESS and LUCK was right there.  Well that’s how I solved it and I hope you didn’t have too much trouble.  We’re off to the furniture store to pick out some new couches for our living room.  I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning to start another week of Jumble fun!  😊

What a beautiful Saturday morning my friends!  There is no better way to start the day than with the Jumble puzzle so let’s get right to the nitty gritty.  All of the words appeared new to me, however; I was on a tear this morning and solved the cartoon just by reading the dialogue so no help was needed!  I did take time to admire Mr. Knureks’ drawing and what a great piece of art it is.  I had difficulty reading the shop name in the window and was hoping someone could fill me in.  Be sure to sign up for email delivery of the answers so you get them ASAP.  Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!  It’s Veterans Day so let us honor the brave citizens who have served, or are serving, in a branch of the U.S. military.  I was able to solve the cartoon right off the bat so all I had to do was solve the clue words. I managed to get the first three but wound up stuck on UPROOT.  My problem was that I was trying to make a word that had OUT.  After trying every possible combination, I noticed UP together and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.  Have a wonderful day my friends and let me know if you have any plans for the weekend.  Be well and THANK YOU to all of our Veterans!!!  🇺🇸

LAZWT = WALTZ

NEAAR = ARENA

YEDDAB = DAYBED

SOMSCO = COSMOS

CARTOON ANSWER:

ALTAEADBDOSMO = MADE BOATLOADS

Happy Thursday to you, my friends!  David chose some challenging words to use in the puzzle this morning.  I had to pause on ARENA and DAYBED but they came after a bit of jumbling of my own.  We’ve seen ARENA before but I think DAYBED was a new clue word.  Jeff gave us a wonderful cartoon with BOATLOADS of detail.  Honestly I don’t know how he can draw so much detail in such a tiny space.  After reading the cartoon and looking at the letters available for the solution,  I was stumped as to where to start.  The M looked out of place and I saw that I could make the word MADE so I went with that. I was left with ALTABDOSO.  After a bit of letter shuffling, I saw BOAT and remembered seeing 3 boats in the cartoon. That’s the point that it hit me and it all fell into place.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow morning.  😉

CARTOON ANSWER:

SYEUSTROBO = “BOY-STEROUS”

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday!  Well we all survived the election and the world will keep spinning so let me jump right into the Jumble.  I second guessed myself with the spelling of SHAKY as I thought it might have an E in it.  I went with my gut and moved on.  I didn’t have any trouble with the next three so it was time for the cartoon.  To be honest I managed to get the answer just by looking at the letters!  BOY jumped out at me first leaving SEUSTRO.  My mind must have been really on this morning!  Enjoy your day and I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀

LRIFT = FLIRT

COALF = FOCAL

DTOSED = ODDEST

NADEWT = WANTED

CARTOON ANSWER:

LTOCOETNTE = ELECT NOT TO

Happy Election Day my friends!  I was happy to see a themed Jumble puzzle this morning and it wasn’t too easy either.  The word choices were excellent with ODDEST being the the most difficult for me to get.  With all of the clue words solved it was on to the cartoon.  At first glance of the letters, the answer didn’t come straight away.  I then read the dialogue and saw that there was a two letter word. I went with TO, and with the remaining letters ELECT came into view leaving NOT for a fantastic finish.  No matter the outcome, half of the country will be happy and half will be sad.  At least we can all rejoice that the election will be over and there will still be JUMBLE.  I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀🗳

CNIPH = PINCH

SMAHE = SHAME

VIEIDD = DIVIDE

MARUAT = TRAUMA

CARTOON ANSWER:

PINSAEIDETRM = MEAN SPIRITED

Good Monday morning my friends!  I hope you’re ready for another week of Jumble goodness, so let’s get started.  First off, the word choices were excellent this morning and I don’t recall seeing any of them recently.  The only word that I had trouble with this morning was SHAME.  After that I breezed through the rest of the clues and was on to the cartoon.  The first two things that I noticed about it was that it had a lot of letters in the answer and there was a lot of dialogue.  After reading the cartoon, I decided to start on the 4 letter word.  I had ANTI, DISA, and PAST but couldn’t come up with the second word.  The letters for GHOST weren’t there either but SPIRIT was.  I added the ED suffix and saw MEAN right away in my remaining letters.  Overall another great puzzle and a wonderful way to start the morning.  I wonder if tomorrow’s puzzle will have a voting or Presidential theme?  Until then have a great Monday and I’ll see you tomorrow?  😊

AMURIT = ATRIUM

SIPEMO = IMPOSE

PTPOAL = LAPTOP

DIFARA = AFRAID

CARTOON ANSWER:

SHFIATROSELTOAID = HEADS OR TAILS OF IT

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday!  A special thanks to Geraldo for emailing me the puzzle — thank you my friend!  I read the cartoon before starting the puzzle and the answer came to me with no trouble at all.  The Sunday puzzle is usually a bit more difficult and I think David and Jeff took it easy on us today.  ATRIUM was my first hiccup but a little rearranging of the letters and I had it.  LAPTOP had me stalled as I thought the answer would have the two p’s together.  As soon as I couldn’t find a word with them together, the word jumped right out at me.  Moving on to the cartoon, it looks like the Knurek family is having a wonderful day at the beach.  I live at the beach and have tried my hand at metal detecting a few times.  I could never understand the beeps and boops the detector made so I gave up after finding 15 soda tabs.  I mentioned the other day that I saw Doctor Strange in the theater on Thursday evening and forgot to say that I really enjoyed it.  I’m a HUGE fan of comic books (guilty pleasure) and the movie was spectacular.  Let me know in the comments section if you read/collect comics.  I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning so don’t be late!  😊

CARTOON ANSWER:

NNTUPOATIDD = DIDN’T PAN OUT

Happy Saturday morning everyone!  NINTH and AFLOAT were fairly challenging for me, however I managed to get them with a little letter jumbling of my own.  The cartoon was great with plenty of detail.  Captain Hook sure looks peeved as usual.  The cartoon answer was well jumbled and didn’t give anything away.  I found DIDN’T first and the rest was easy to solve.  Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀

Happy Thursday morning my friends!  If you stayed up late to watch the Chicago Cubs win the World Series, you’re probably a little tired this morning — nothing a little coffee can’t fix.  I sailed through the first three words and hit a brick wall with the fourth.  After thinking about it for most of my morning routine, I was still baffled.  I moved on to the cartoon and sure enough I was able to solve it without the fourth word.  After crossing out the letters I had and inserting the letters I needed, I was finally able to ATTAIN the missing clue word.  Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you tomorrow morning.  😀

KLYUB = BULKY

ENYDE = NEEDY

GROFOT = FORGOT

LORHEL = HOLLER

CARTOON ANSWER:

BUNEDOOTHLE = ON THE DOUBLE

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday!  No trouble with the clue words today, although I did question my spelling abilities with HOLLER.  For some reason it just didn’t look right.  Perhaps it was because I don’t use or see it that often. I went with my gut instinct and rolled the dice. The cartoon was great and it seems as though Jeff is giving us an abundance of baseball themed ones.  No complaints here as I really enjoy the sport.  Did anyone notice that the runner appeared to be a Cubs player and the second baseman had a dark gray uniform like the Indians?  Is Jeff prognosticating a Chicago win tonight to keep his beloved Cubs alive?  The cartoon answer was a quick solve and my spelling proved to be spot on.  I awoke this morning realizing that Halloween is officially over and my favorite holiday is right around the corner (note: it’s not Christmas).  I host a large celebration at my home so now’s the time to begin planning.  If I can get my Christmas shopping done early, I can relax and enjoy the onslaught of holiday madness.  My email inbox had two Christmas related messages this morning proving that it’ll be here sooner than I think.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀
