Ghoul morning everyone and Happy Halloween!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of fun and good times.  Well Halloween is officially here so that means we get a themed Jumble and this one didn’t disappoint.  The first two words were no problem.  It took a little thinking to get GLITCH but after that I was ready for the cartoon.  The artistry by Jeff Knurek was superb.  He seamlessly meshed the old cast of familiar Halloween favorites and added a touch of modern flare by having Harry Potter arrive to the party.  Did you notice the spiderweb above the door?  It sure added great detail to the party scene.  I was able to solve the cartoon puzzle before starting the puzzle, but I didn’t mind at all.  The splendid cartoon was all I needed to set the mood for Halloween and this one will easily become one of my cherished favorites. Happy Sunday everyone and I hope your day is off to a great start.  First I’d like to thank Geraldo for providing me with the puzzle for today.  I really enjoy the Sunday game and I wouldn’t have access to it if it wasn’t for him.  I managed to get all of the words quickly except ENTICE.  It took a few minutes of really thinking about it before it came to me.  The cartoon was very timely and somewhat mirrors my own backyard when I look out the window.  There are still some deep oranges and yellows on the limbs that’ll be all gone in the very near future.  No real trouble with the cartoon answer as I figured out LEAVES first and the rest was a quick solve.  Trick or treat is tonight for the kids in my area and the weather is holding out for a dry yet chilly walk around the neighborhood with my son.  Have a terrific Sunday and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning for what I suspect will be a Halloween themed puzzle.  😄🎃

Good morning and TGIF my friends!  I didn’t get MYSELF or VIABLE the first time around this morning.  MYSELF floated into my head sometime between starting my coffee and putting the bacon on.  VIABLE was a cinch the second time around and I couldn’t believe that I didn’t get it right away.  The cartoon was well drawn and after reading the dialogue, I deduced that TIME was in the answer.  After crossing out those letters, the rest was no trouble at all.  Have a wonderful Friday and let me know if you have any big plans.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

Good morning everyone and happy Thursday!  Great clue word choices this morning that were very well jumbled.  The only one I paused at was SCULPT.  Today was the first time that I was able to successfully figure out a cartoon answer with quotes BEFORE starting the puzzle!  There was so much detail in the cartoon that I went back and tried to figure out the buildings in the background.  I see a mosque, an unknown building, perhaps the Transamerica Pyramid, unknown building, unknown building, and Willis Tower.  Fill in the unknowns if you have a guess and I’ll see you tomorrow.  Have a SUPER day!  😀

Happy Wednesday morning my friends!  LARVA and HIDDEN were the two words that made me pause for thought this morning but were no real trouble at all.  With all the clue words solved it was time to attempt the cartoon.  Yogi Bear was always one of my favorite cartoons and Ranger Smith was such a unique character.  He was the yin to Yogis’ yang.  I must admit, I was able to get the answer before starting though.  Perhaps I’m smarter than the av-er-age bear?  You probably saw that coming so I’ll end it here.  Have a great day and do good!

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday!  The word that tripped me up today was ELOPE.  I didn’t see it right at first but it came to me after staring at it for a moment.  The cartoon was excellent, especially the Puffin.  The version of the puzzle that I do is in black and white so I miss alot of the detail without the color.  The cartoon answer sure had alot of vowels but was easier than I expected.  ICE jumped out at me and after jumbling the remaining letters it was easy to figure out the rest.  Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

Good Thursday morning my friends and what a fun puzzle this was!  I solved the first three clue words rather quickly but SCENIC tripped me up.  I do the Jumble on my iPad just as soon as my alarm clock goes off so if I don’t get them all right away I think about them while I’m getting ready.  I was pouring the water in my coffee maker when it came to me like a ton of bricks.  I know we’ve seen this word before so I chalk it up to Mr. Hoyt and his masterful Jumbling skills!  After my first look at the cartoon and upon reading it I had no idea where to start.  I saw JEWEL right away thanks to J being the first letter.  I figured ON would be the two letter word leaving SEDHC.  It all fell into place making this puzzle a real gem!  Have a SUPER day and I’ll see you tomorrow.  😀

Good Monday morning my friends!  I had quite a bit of trouble with today’s puzzle.  CLOWN was the only word that I solved at first glance.  Both ODDER and PERMIT took me quite some time to figure out leaving POROUS which wasn’t as difficult.  The words were jumbled very well and sure had me confused.  With all the clue words solved I was left with a bunch of jumbled letters that resembled a pile of mush!  Nothing jumped out at me upon first glance so I had to get in there and started making my words list.  I won’t bore you with the list I made, so let me just say that when I found “cost” it all started to fall in place for some reason.  “Cost” led to DISCOUNT and DEEP was left over allowing me to finish.  It’s odd how discount came into view after finding a word that wasn’t even in the puzzle!  Well it worked and I’m on a roll for a great Monday and I hope you are as well.  Have a SUPER day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀
