Good morning everyone!  I hope that you’re having a wonderful Sunday wherever you may be.  Let me start by thanking Geraldo for emailing me the puzzle — it’s very much appreciated.  After sailing through the first three words, I thought it was going to be an easy puzzle.  UNCLOG had me stumped for a few minutes so I put my iPad down and came back to it a few minutes later.  I tried again and got it within seconds.  It’s always funny to me when that happens!  SCARCE was difficult as well but I managed to get it after staring at it for a bit.  I got OCCUPY with no problem and moved on to the cartoon.  After reading the dialogue, I figured boat had to be part of the answer and the letters were there so I went with it.  With the remaining letters I saw the other two words rather quickly.  Another great puzzle to end a fantastic week.  

It was so cold yesterday that I decided it was time to finally start my pellet stove.  I gave it a thorough cleaning and loaded the hopper and started it up around 3 in the afternoon.  The thermostat read 64 when I started and when we returned from a relaxing dinner it was 75!  The warmth was so nice for a chilly autumn evening that I left it on overnight and still have it on this morning.  I guess there is no escaping the reality that the cold is finally here.  Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and let me know in the comments if you have any plans for today.  I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow!  😀

Good morning everyone and I hope you’re enjoying your Saturday morning.  I had no trouble with the clue words today.  The cartoon was very well drawn by Mr. Knurek and included plenty of detail.  I especially enjoyed the Jumble coffee mug and am glad to have the same one.  Is it a coincidence that I just finished my basement and now there is a Jumble cartoon featuring one?!  Perhaps Jeff drew this in my honor.  Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow my friends.  😀

Good morning everyone and TGIF!  The first three clue words came to me immediately but I had to pause on WEAKLY to make sure it was correct.  The cartoon was excellent as usual and I was excited when I saw the quotation marks.  They signal to me that the answer could be difficult but it just wasn’t so today.  I chose to work the puzzle backwards and found BACK first and worked into POUNCE for a finish to another fun week of puzzles!

Happy Sunday my friends!  It’s been raining here all weekend, but that hasn’t stopped me from getting some projects accomplished around the house.  Now it’s time to do some shopping before football begins.  No real problem with any of the clue words today — I got them all on my first try.  There were alot of letters for the cartoon answer, however; CIGAR jumped out at me.  With that word solved the rest of the pun was a cinch.  Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I’ll see you early tomorrow morning.  😀
