Jumble Answers for 11/03/2016

Happy Thursday morning my friends!  If you stayed up late to watch the Chicago Cubs win the World Series, you’re probably a little tired this morning — nothing a little coffee can’t fix.  I sailed through the first three words and hit a brick wall with the fourth.  After thinking about it for most of my morning routine, I was still baffled.  I moved on to the cartoon and sure enough I was able to solve it without the fourth word.  After crossing out the letters I had and inserting the letters I needed, I was finally able to ATTAIN the missing clue word.  Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you tomorrow morning.  😀

  1. I too got first 3 quickly and answer, It attain stumped me.

From Ohio so am an Indians fan, but it was great seeing the Cubs win after such a long time time. They SO deserved it, and it couldn’t have been a more exciting game. Great way to end the season and I am not even a baseball fan or watcher. To me baseball is about as exciting as watching paint dry. And with the big screen TVs, watching those guys constantly spitting is TMI.

  2. Looking at the cartoon, my first thought was that toast of the town had one too many letters. Three words were fast & easy, but attain stumped me so I wrote the letters in an oval shaped circle and out jumped the word attain with letters that let me know it was talk rather than toast.
Out here in Arizona we did not have to stay up nearly as late as you to see the bottom of the 10th inning, but I still had work to do after sitting & watching the game and a lot of Woo Hoo’s to say about the outcome. I slept until 11 a.m., hence my late comments.

    • Hi Lelia and thanks for letting me know how you solved today’s puzzle. I believe all the comments stated that they had trouble with ATTAIN. I’m exhausted from staying up so late. The kids want me to take them to see the new Marvel movie “Doctor Strange” tonight. I’ll probably fall asleep at some point. Catch ya tomorrow!
