  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🧤GLOVE IS ALL YOU NEED🧤

🎶All you need is GLOVE, all you need is GLOVE…All you need is GLOVE, GLOVE…GLOVE is all you need…🎶…”All You Need Is Love” – (with apologies to) The Beatles 1967  https://tinyurl.com/6hznkbdc

    🧤They gathered all together…a SONATA softly plays…
And nothing now should HINDER them…they’re set for the next phase…
The samples done, and now’s the time to face the final QUEST,
Which gloves to choose for next year’s line…they have to be the best
It won’t just be a BRISK run through…they all do understand…
It’s time to buckle down and get to the BUSINESS AT HAND…🧤

You gotta HAND it to him…WINTER comes down to it, David definitely CHOSE a cute theme with this one…And I thought the solve sounded familiar…but I couldn’t put my FINGER on it…

So…Today…The “PALMing Influence”, a mitten and glove factory…(= BUSINESS)…and an employee meeting…Needing to go over the new line, (= HAND items), and the merchandise before them ( = AT HAND), they’re ready to get down to the…BUSINESS AT HAND* …And voila!…That about COVERS it! Short and sweet…And we’ve HANDed ourselves another easy, breezy solve…No pulling the WOOL over our eyes today…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The puppy gloves on the man sitting…the look of FITTING amusement on the face of the man standing looking at what appears to be a Mr Potato Head mitten…The sales graph…and that hand lying on the table…eerily GRIPping actually…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who took a job at a store catering solely to gloves. After being there for a month or so, he sold a relative of the owner two pair of mustard yellow-colored gloves that ended up being lefts only. Embarrassed, when the woman gave them as gifts, of course she returned to the store, FIT to be tied…demanding her RIGHTS as a consumer, and FINGERed my friend as the culprit. And being caught red-HANDed, he tried his best to explain…”Yes, I MUSTARD MITT that I make an error, but I can count on one HAND the mistakes I’ve made since I’ve been here. An interMITTENt oversight shouldn’t be held against me”…But the owner, not caring LEATHER or not he was RIGHT, took the GLOVES off, and fired him anyway…saying he wasn’t that happy with how he COVERED his responsibilities…and that it was all RELATIVE…So that was it for his glove career…And once again, he came away empty HANDed…And we’re still hoping that one of these days…by any STRETCH of imagination…he finds something he’s FITTED for…🧤🙋🏻‍♀️

    * BUSINESS AT HAND: The idiom “business at hand” means the current, immediate matter or task that needs to be addressed,

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️In his QUEST to find the perfect SONATA for the concert, he hoped a BRISK walk would help him concentrate on the BUSINESS AT HAND…since so far everything else seemed to HINDER it…🤷🏻‍♂️

👍🏻It def should be a BRISK QUEST…nothing should HINDER it…
They agreed on the SONATA… now’s not the time to quit
They just need to make sure they pick the best to lead the band…
And then it’s down to prepping for tonight’s BUSINESS AT HAND…👍🏻

  3. 🧤Some people think mittens the best,
While others say gloves pass the test…
    Whatever you choose,
    Be sure not to lose…
    One of the pair…or you’re not dressed…🧤

2️⃣ …Up to par, since two make the set,
And too often we find we regret…
    When one goes astray,
    Seems it’s always the way…
And we’re left with no choice but to let…2️⃣

🤷🏻‍♀️…The other one go just the same,
As we said “pair” of gloves is the name…
And we’re left with hands bare,
    Need to seek other pairs…
And there’s no one but ourselves to blame…🤷🏻‍♀️

    💰Wish I had a nickel or a dime,
For every lost mitten of mine…
    And don’t mention the gloves,
‘Cause when push comes to shove?…
I’d be rich if the both were combined..💰

🧤🧤But today it’s ‘bout gloves that are new,
And this meeting is called to review…
    The new business line,
    With its varied design..
Before the marketing time is due!🧤🧤

  5. This week is heading for undefeated ! I got all the anagrams down and had only a little bit of hard thinking on SONATA with the A’s , but I tried it and got it ! The jumble was awesome ! The first thing that came to my mind was gloves and mittens and no word of HAND ! So I put that down and what was left was I saw BUSINESS with AT left ! I was so pleased ! This was a very little hump day Wednesday ! And Angela , substituting Love with Glove in that Beatles song was funny and you could do that with so many songs it would be very fun ! And your friends was so widely described by the glove terminology, it was so good ! This was a good mideeek jumble ! So let’s bring on thirsty-Thursday and go undefeated ! !!!

  6. Upon a first look, AT HAND or ON HAND seemed pretty obvious and perhaps thought BUSINESS might fit….voila !! Anagrams were easily solved except for SONATA which I had to back in. This cartoon reminds me of a place I bought gloves about 3 years ago (online) called Tall Fingers for obviously taller people. Wanted more, but they shuttered their operation recently. Oh well. Nice song, Angela, and nice story about your friend. You definitely wove many words into that one. Terry

  7. Good morning. Not much difficulty except for Sonata which took a little time to get. The cartoon answer should have been a blind solve which by the way was cute but I had to resort to the old fashioned way of putting the letters down to get it. You did your job today Angela being it’s National laugh day. From your song choice to your crazy friend you succeeded in getting me to laugh. Well done Master. !! Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul.  I love to hear that I give you a laugh…Tk you…And as for the old fashioned way of solving.…you know there’s not a thing wrong with that  Take care 🧤🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Easy Wednesday Jumble. The anagram Sonata had me stuck for half a minute but it was easy after that. Angela, you’re right about the hand on the table. I thought it was kinda creepy. LOL. Thank you, Stan

  9. Another quick solve of theJumble anagrams and cartoon today.Wishing all a good day.Chuck.

  10. We know that folks will be really smitten

By the latest in our line of mitten

    So chic and handy

    When the weather’s not dandy

And of course, a perfect fittin’!

    Helen

    • 🧤On the other ‘hand’, gloves fit the bill,
Whether they’re made of leather or twill…
Get a fit snug and tight,
      You’ll always do right…
And you’ll safeguard against any chill…🧤

🤷🏻‍♀️Guess it’s all just a matter of taste,
Choosing buttons or maybe go laced…
      Be it mittens or gloves,
When it’s push come to shove…
Boils down to fingers…close or spaced!🤷🏻‍♀️
