  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🏡 COME ON INN! 🏡

🎶I’m INN with the INN crowd and I know what the INN crowd knows…🎶…”The In Crowd” – (with apologies to) Dobie Gray 1964  https://tinyurl.com/2t55xvyw

🏡 The SNOWY landscape set the scene, ‘twas all so picture-perfect,
Warm LIQUID and scones at check-in…a beautiful effect…
If ever she was UNSURE of how it would turn out,
The compliments she’s getting now have surely erased doubt
She wanted to BRING comfort …so she went to all the fuss…

    Monique followed her instincts…and they’ve proven “INN-GENIUS”…🏡

Followed her “INN-STINCTS”…😉Thought I’d LODGE that one in there …

So…Today we visit a B&B (= an INN)* run by Monique and her husband, Henry Cabot LODGE…And admiring her renovations, Dakota FAWNning… who can’t get over the improvements. Yes, Monique was savvy, smart, and unique (= INGENIOUS) enough to get INN tune with what was needed to turn an old hotel into an INNcredibly different and welcoming lodging establishment…And she wouldn’t LET anything stand in her way…The results? She’s proven to be…”INN-GENIUS”** …So as for our solve? With those tell-tale quotation marks in SITE?…There’s no ROOM for IMPROVEMENT here today…This one was so easy, breezy we just STEPped right up to the plate and hit a HOME run…

Jeff’s💎Gems? It’s not all that clear, but I think those might be letter J’s on the doors upstairs…but I’m not BEDding on it. And I’m figuring for him to name ‘Monique’, she’s probably not just a RUN-of-the-mill character…she must have a PLACE in his life…Do I have RESERVATIONS about the assumption? Perhaps, but I’m STAYING with it just the same…Or it just might be that ‘Monique’ rhymes with David’s ‘unique’ in our question, and Jeff doesn’t know her at all…he just DREW on the name…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who always looking to be part of the INN crowd, went to FRANCE to stay at a HAUNTED B&B… simply because he heard that it was the latest trend… He didn’t stay long though…said the place was giving him the CREPES…🏡🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♀️It was far from INGENIOUS when he decided to BRING indoors some SNOWY remnants (which quickly turned to LIQUID)…and his wife was UNSURE exactly what it was he was thinking to do…🤷🏻‍♀️

❄️ The LIQUID wasn’t working, it didn’t make much sense,
What some had been suggesting…the others deeming dense…
The painting of a SNOWY street was needing something dark,
To BRING such a light color in would only make it stark
UNSURE of what to do now, it’s causing quite a fuss…
    And no one’s thinking ‘clearly’…(but the pun?…yes, INGENIOUS)!❄️

  3. 👩🏻‍💻🧑🏻‍💻If escaping is what’s on your mind,
Peace and quiet away from the grind…
    You research a bit,
    Looking for the best fit…
Fingers crossed hoping that you will find…🧑🏻‍💻👩🏻‍💻

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️…The ideal spot where you can be,
Relaxed but not faced with ennui…
    And you hear ‘bout Monique,
    Advertised as unique…
And you figure you’ll give a look see…🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️

🏡 And her B&B’s worth all the hype,
Besides Monique and Henry your type…
    You feel very impressed,
    It’s a cut above rest…
And they ensure you’ll not have a gripe…🏡

👍🏻 For she honed her craft painstakingly,
Dotted every I, crossed every T…
    Every detail paid heed,
    So that she would succeed…
    In designing the best B&B…👍🏻

🏆Yes, ingenious is the word we hear,
Since Monique has made it very clear…
    That her lodgings will stand,
‘Mongst the best in the land…
    Offering a five-star atmosphere…🏆

  5. very nice taco-Tuesday jumble ! All the anagrams were there for me ! But the jumble with 3 N’s and the I’s gave me a lot of words ! So after I saw the answer , I was impressed ! I should’ve put on a better thinking cap ! I should’ve waited to see the cartoon , and looked at the clues that were there that you , Angela explained so well ! I think I was just being too lazy ! Anyway , I liked your song , one ghost I haven’t heard in a long time , but remember it and really liked it ! This was a nice jumble , so I’m gonna be more patient for the rest of the week ! Thank you Angela for a really nice explanation of the entire jumble ! I’m ready to get over this hump tomorrow !!!!!!

  6. I got the concept, but missed the result. Such an obvious start to the solution (INN-) and thought it was gonna be such an easy, breezy answer. Nothing came to me, so I unscrambled the anagrams and still, nothing appeared. Oh well, at least I got to read about Angela’s friend’s CREPES. Good song today and I’ll be humming all morning. Enjoy your Taco Tuesday. Terry

  7. Good morning. The words were a breeze but the cartoon answer in quotations left me high and dry. Having no clue I went for the answer. Good song choice Angela, remember it well but not the singer. So today is National Crab Day. I know a few OLD crabs that I wouldn’t give the time of day to. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. No, not “CRAB” Day, Crab Stuffed Flounder Day…but you gave me a chuckle with the “Old 🦀 Crabs”! 😂…And I definitely needed the laugh…Tk you. Glad you enjoyed the song. ..and this is the third time I’m typing this. It seems that if you backspace to correct a letter, it wipes out everything you’ve typed. WordPress has some serious issues…Take care. 🏡🙋🏻‍♀️

      • I am so glad that you have experienced the stuff that I did when you go back and correct a letter or word It wipes your whole comment out , that’s why some of my words are misspelled or goofy ! Thanks , it’s good to know !! ,…..jim

        • It’s been happening to me for a while now…among other issues…I think it’s happening to all of us. You have no idea..🤦🏻‍♀️

  8. In creating an inn that’s boutique

    She’s applied her own technique

    Cozy and classy

    (Like the designer lassie!)

    It’s garnered some positive critique!

      • 👏🏻👏🏻Successful she is, there’s no doubt,
And she’s now wielding plenty of clout…
        Happily found her niche…
        And it’s made Monique rich…
And her praises all now quick to tout! 👏🏻👏🏻

  9. Not too bad today. I unscrambled the words and went to solve the puzzle. I assumed the second word ended in ‘ing’, but that gave INN-SUEING. Didn’t make sense. I then realized the ing might be wrong, and saw GENIUS.

  10. No problem with the anagrams or even the hyphenated cartoon answer.Despite the below zero frigid morning temperature. Chuck.

  11. And snowy was the right word for today. It’s a bizarre landscape around here with towering piles of snow.

    Helen
