🐎 Way back in the 4th century…a man , a horse, …the straddle,
Like LIQUID, things were slippery…and hence came forth the saddle…
The onlooker is CANDID here…he’s sold and asks for one,
Since AFTER seeing how it’s used…he’d be a fool to shun…
Would it DECAY the horse’s hide…I guess not since it’s used,
Lo all these many, many years…without horses abused
It made riding much easier…plus helped to conquer fear…
It did ‘stir up’ an interest……this newfangled “RIDE” IDEA! 🐎
Have to make this quick. I’m SADDLEd with a million things to do, I’ll be ROANiing around all day, plus my throat’s HORSE, and I’m FRIESIAN…which isn’t helping any.. So…it beHOOVES me to say…SADDLE UP, Folks…and let’s RIDE…
The puzzle today? Difficult? NEIGH, NEIGH…no way…Easy FOALcabulary words, our question…INVENTOR = A man with an IDEA, our cartoon…A Horse = RIDE. And the man HERD saying that he wants one? … .Topped off with those tell-TAIL quotation marks? We all know the Saddle https://tinyurl.com/ndrafe6a was a huge success…so…The inventor, RIGHT as rain, had the “RIDE” IDEA…And we MAREly had to give this one any time at all…
The horse’s face? A pretty pRUMINANT glance, IMO…Maybe the IDEA JOUST isn’t SITTING all that well with him…and he’s no choice but to take it in stRIDE…Or maybe his MANE thought is when will someone invent the HORN…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and here’s to hoping the world becomes STABLE again soon…🐎🙋🏻♀️

🤦🏻♀️AFTER the LIQUID bleach had spilt, it seemed to DECAY the fabric, and her Mother was quite CANDID in telling her that the RIGHT IDEA might be for her to give up doing laundry altogether…🤦🏻♀️
🦷 He had such a fear of dentists, he let the tooth DECAY,
And AFTER saw how foolish he’d been…so he’s on his way…
To have it taken out…since even LIQUID is a chore,
No food nor drink…he’s in such pain…his mouth so terribly sore…
The dentist was quite CANDID…saying..”’Bout time you got here…
Sad that it wasn’t sooner…but it is the RIGHT IDEA”…🦷

Very tuneful, bouncy song to start off Jumble week. Kinda makes you wanna get out and rake leaves on a fall day….or ride a horse, for that matter. Wasn’t quite a blind solve…Just didn’t think quick enough to place the first word before IDEA…but all fell quickly in place with the anagrams solved. Enjoy your Monday and thanks for the nice song, Angela. tcapps589

Good morning. Started off the week on a good note. I was able to get both parts with little trouble. Enjoyed the music Angela, probably before it was called the big band era. I think that label was given to Tommy Dorsey. Until tomorrow take care.

I miscopied the letters from the liquid anagram so had a ‘u’ instead of the second ‘I’ so had u,d,e,a instead of idea!
Maybe too cold and frosty for me to think clearly.

Each of the four words has two bubbles (letters for the answer). The first bubble letter of each word spells IDEA (unjumbled). The second letter of each spells RIDE. Interesting, but likely coincidental.

The puns are insufferable; nevertheless I am a masochist and am enjoying the jumbles immensely. Keep ’em coming. – DD
