6️⃣ The OSPREY population had totaled up to 6, And add to that 6 strands of FROND…trust this is not a trick… No need to become nervous, no WHEEZE or gasp to hear, Add 6 and 6 together…and then what will appear? No one should draw a BLANK here…and you won’t need a graph… Since 12 of course the answer…all on DOZEN’S BEHALF!6️⃣
Dirty DOZENS?…No, not at all! It’s all above BOARD!
So…Today…Most likely a First Grade Classroom…a white board, three young children, a teacher…and the BASE of our puzzle… two 6’s equaling 12. And despite this being just SUM basic childhood Math, you might feel you’ll need that thinking cap Terry spoke of yesterday…But trust me…that’s TOTALly wrong. Since if you just look closely, and pay attention to the clues that have been ADDED, you’ll easily SOLVE this one…Just as our question states, our cartoon shows there’s two 6’s, with a PLUS sign between them, and an EQUAL sign after them. They BEcome 12, which is a DOZEN. And of COURSE, along the same LINE, 6 is HALF of 12… So the two 6’s appeared for the 12…on the DOZEN’S BEHALF*…CHILD’S play, actually…as long as you do as the teacher says…and enjoy the video on ADDITION…And “as you can see”…it all ADDS up…
Jeff’s💎Gems? You have to love how he takes these Anthropomorphic FIGURES, and gives them their DOUBLE life…The TOTAL cartoon is a Gem…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who while helping his young son with his Math, was asked by the child, “Why do people say “half dozen”, when you can just say “six”?…My friend: “Oh, it really DOZEN matter”…And needless to say, the Math lessons are now just one LESS thing his wife asks him to help with. And the NUMBERS are MULTIPLYING. She’s really starting to think he’s a TOTAL loser…And we told him that if he keeps this up, he’s definitely going to cause a DIVIDE between them…6️⃣➕6️⃣🟰1️⃣2️⃣🙋🏻♀️
🎋On the DOZEN’S BEHALF, despite his WHEEZE, he removed every FROND from the aviary, leaving it BLANK, so that their OSPREY would be comfortable…🎋
🦅 The OSPREY let out a short WHEEZE…the others looking BLANK, “Perhaps the palm FROND caused it”, Nick said speaking quite frank “I know you’re all concerned of course”, addressing now the staff… …He promised he’d look into it…on the DOZEN’S BEHALF…🦅

👦🏻 …The chance to horizons expand, With so much they’ll come to understand… Be it add or subtract, It’ll have an impact… On life’s path, one to never disband…👦🏻

This was a very nice put together jumble ! And I was stumped in getting it ! But the two sizes together is a DOZEN and each one can BEHALF ! Two anagrams I had trouble with were FROND and OSPREY ! This was a nice jumble , I wish I could’ve gotten it !

Jim…I know you said that you do the puzzle early…So I’m figuring you’re doing it without the cartoon. If so, that’s why you’re having trouble. The cartoon with the dialogue will always set the stage for the solve. It’s all there…Think about it. 6️⃣🙋🏻♀️

I know you’d have better success if you’d wait to write your comment until after you’ve seen the cartoon. It’s obvious by what you say that you haven’t and that you’re missing what the dialogue and drawing are conveying…and how the idioms then fit. I think 95% of the time just glancing at the cartoon will give you the solve…it’s always right there…Anyway, just my advice. I think you’ll not only have an easier time…you’ll enjoy it more too. Good morning. I was stuck on the words like forever. The 1st and 4th had me going until that light bulb finally came on. I guess I was so annoyed with the words that I failed to see the answer to the cartoon. Oh well I had to stumble sometime this week. Getting to enjoy country music a lot more this days. I’m in good company with the number of stumped responses, having been stumped by the osprey anagram, and then by the Math cartoon even after having the letters. A tough Friday indeed. Chuck.

Took a bit to get OSPREY, but the solution completely stumped me, as it did for the majority who tried to suss it out. This now makes the second day in a row that I was faced with a puzzle I never would have solved. It’s discouraging and not a lot of fun because it makes me feel stupid.

OSPREY took a while to solve. The answer was also very hard. I kept looking for a Z word, and finally saw DOZEN. That left BEHALF, with the S making DOZEN possessive. I’m not sure why dozen was so hard to see, but…
