  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🧠WHO’S THE BRAIN OF THIS OPERATION, ANYWAY?🧠

🎶 NO PLACE for beginners or sensitive hearts… No need to ask…SMOOTH OPERATOR…🎶…”Smooth Operator” – Sade 1984  https://tinyurl.com/5n7b84m3

🧠The FIBULA and ANKLE…many times they’ve done repairs,
From head HONCHO to the interns…they know how, and why and where…
No GUILT is felt ‘bout this here though…no one knows where to start…
Transplants yes, they are common…but it’s not a knee or heart
Nothing for them to go by…no journal where it’s printable…
A brain transplant? Maybe someday…for now though it’s UNTHINKABLE! 🧠

Hmm…For the strangest reason, “Time in a Bottle” is playing in my HEAD..yet what we have here is a brain in a bottle. IDK…Maybe it’s not all that strange after all though…TIME will tell, I suppose…Anyway…

So…Today, a group of surgeons, THINKING about the possibility of performing a brain (= the organ we THINK with) transplant. And how “for now” as our question dictates, it’s unfathomable…It’s still OFF THE TABLE…literally and figuratively…So… just as all of our dialogue is telling us…the idea?…UNTHINKABLE https://tinyurl.com/rub388zc … And, once again, we’ve SEWN UP another easy, breezy puzzle…And I hardly had to TRAUMA best to get it done…So here’s to OPERATING full speed ahead into our weekend…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who had surgery and afterwards found himself being uncontrollably thirsty. Turned out the surgeon left a sponge inside him…Surprisingly, with the doctor’s weird sense of humor, he thought my friend would be IN STITCHES over it, but my friend was hardly laughing…especially since he was going through some financial hardships at the time. It was truly a very unNERVEing experience for him. And to hear him tell it, the only saving grace of it all (well besides the malpractice lawsuit settlement saving him from going BELLY up), was that he met his now fiancée in the operating room. ANNA STESIA…And she’s a real KNOCKOUT…🧠🙋🏻‍♀️

…Wishing a Happy Kwanzaa to all who celebrate…

And a Shout Out 🗣️to David for all new anagrams today…🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️The HONCHO would have considered it UNTHINKABLE that mere horseplay could cause such damage to his rival’s ANKLE and FIBULA, and he was overcome with GUILT…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️His FIBULA and ANKLE took the toll that day he fell,
And yes feelings of GUILT arose as both began to swell…
As head HONCHO he should have been more careful with the “drinkable”…
‘Cause now he’s looking quite foolish…it should have been UNTHINKABLE!🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. …AND IN OTHER WORDS…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

ANKLE: Last used – 12/06/2022 as KENAL

GUILT: Last used – 2/02/2024 as LIGTU

FIBULA: Last used – 10/25/2024 as BFIALU

HONCHO: Last used – 5/19/2024 as CONHOH

UNTHINKABLE: Last used – New solution

    …ANAGRAM HISTORY…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

KAENL: Used on – New anagram

BLIUFA: Used on – New anagram

CONOHH: Used on – New anagram

    • Believe it or not I like fruit cake, and miss the annual cake my Mom used to buy every Xmas season. Chuck,

      • You’re probably not alone, Professor…they’ve been around forever. 🥮🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. 👨🏻‍⚕️Yes, transplants have gone on for years,
The surgeons with all the repairs…
    And lives have been saved,
    Technology praised…
As the doctors allayed many fears…👨🏻‍⚕️

    👍🏻Proficient at prolonging life,
    Confidence going under the knife…
    Wondrous service they’ve brought,
    Where before things were fraught…
With worry and a lot more strife…👍🏻

🧠But today what we’re seeing is new,
    Something that which it’s time isn’t due…
    To replace someone’s brain?
    No…it still does remain…
    A procedure that hasn’t come through…🧠

🗣️So these surgeons are chewing the fat,
Going on and on ‘bout this and that…
    Knowing there’s just no way,
    This can be done today…
But it’s def something worthy of chat…🗣️

🤷🏻‍♂️In the future? Remains still to see,
If a brain transplant someday might be…
Now a shot in the dark,
It’s no walk in the park…
    Question is though…IQ…what degree?🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. This week has been a very consistent solve week ! Today’s anagrams were little ornery ! Two of them were not very helping , but I didn’t need them ! One of them was an ANKLE sore and the other one was a HONCHO ! But I got the letters and the jumble was right there as one word to refer to a brain transplant , cause it was UNTHINKABLE ! Very good one today ! And Angela , sometimes we all get overwhelmed with daily tasks and we just let our thoughts make it happen ! Have a Good Friday and bring on the weekend !!!!

    • Jim…I’m not following you…”get overwhelmed”…”let our thoughts make it happen”? 🤷🏻‍♀️

  6. I’ll join you on passing up the fruitcake for desert….but, it the baker doesn’t put those little red and green things in them, they’re usually pretty good. But too many other great deserts out there to choose from nowadays. I missed an easy one today. Thought it started with UN and ended in ING. Had I used UN and ABLE…think a blind solve could have occurred. Paused for a moment on ANKLE, but then solved other anagrams for the obvious solve. Hope this time between Christmas and New Years is enjoyable and relaxing for you, Angela…and thanks for taking the time to post. Terry

    • YW, Terry…and thank you. But as far as the fruit cake goes? As you’ve said, there’s sooooo many other ways to enjoy calories…Leave the fruit cake…take the cannoli…😉🥮🙋🏻‍♀️

      • That is a clever twist on one of my favorite quotes from “The Godfather.” Angela, thank you for a wonderful year of puzzle insight, imaginative puns, and delightful poems. Angela, you always make the Jumble more fun, and never fail to make us smile. Thank you, my friend! Tom

        • Tom…So good to see you here again, friend!. And you’re very welcome. Thank you so much for your kind words, and know that they’re much appreciated. ❤️ And I’m glad you caught my cannoli reference…TBT? I dabbled with going with tiramisu for a moment…which inches out the cannoli lately…but I figured why mess with perfection! 😂 Tk you again, and I hope you and yours enjoyed the Merriest of Christmases. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Interesting Jumble today. I had to Think for a few minutes to come up with Fibula and then it all came together for the solve. Thank you for the link to the Sade music video Angela. I sure did enjoy the 1980s. Have a great Friday ! Thanks, Stan

  8. Good morning. Hesitated on ankle and honcho but was able to finally get all the words correctly. I should have gotten the cartoon answer since it was one word but I couldn’t think of unthinkable. This years Christmas was the best. It was at one of my grandkids house and we had twenty one in the white elephant grab. One gift was stolen about 8-10 times. Enjoyed your song video Angela and thank you again for being with us everyday come rain or shine and even when your a little under the weather Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul…you’re welcome…and thank you so much for your kind words.❤️ Take care. 🧠🙋🏻‍♀️

      • I had a medical procedure done last month and when Anna Stesia walked in the room it was a good thing I was already laying on the gurney! My knees were shaking! 😆

  9. Overwhelmed by the video and thinking of time in a bottle , but just too much of me reading into it !

    • The reply above is in reference to your reply Angela to my post , I got down the wrong path !

      • I’m still confused, but we’ve all gone down that wrong path one time or another! 👍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Fibula stumped me again, and the multi lettered cartoon also got me.Hopefully tomorrow will be a better Jumble Day! Chuck.

  11. My guess for the answer was unbelievable, but, alas, it has 12 letters. I didn’t think any more about guessing the answer and solved the words. This gave UNTHINKABLE as the answer, which also described my guessing. I did get the beginning and the end of the answer though.

  12. It doesn’t take much of a brain

    To realize the idea’s insane

    The cerebrum to transplant?

    You definitely can’t

It’s just something we cannot attain!

    Helen
