📚It’s not UNTRUE they loved the book, what isn’t there to love,
A YOKEL to a scholar would admit it ranks above…
The list of all time classics…although, a slight tough read,
(And here’s where FIBULA and POUCH just can’t keep up to speed)
‘Tis nature that we bond with…in all its majesty…
And we can see our women enjoyed it…“THOREAU-LY”…📚
Yes, POND for POND…I think we’d all be in CONCORDance that it’s a deep and influential book…that one can totally EMERSON self in…

Some great….some not so great morning. I did manage the blind solve and solved the first three anagrams, but was I ever stuck on FIBULA. As I was playing around with letters for that word, I thought that it ended in AL. Well, I went through umpteen iterations of that, incorrectly thinking that is could have been LA. Oh well…never got it. We saw INTO THE WOODS a couple of years ago…I missed Sondheim’s earlier tuneful musicals. Thanks for great post and enjoy your TGIF. Terry

Blind solve today. I used to quote/paraphrase Thoreau as follows: Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, such as a trout in milk. I used it to talk about seeing and understanding evidence.

Good morning. It took a little time but I was able to get all the words correctly but bombed on the cartoon answer. Wow, Unbelievable song choice Angela. First time hearing it and was spell bound by it. I’m going back to watch it again it was so good. Until tomorrow take care.

No problem with the Jumble. Walden is one of my favorite books. It is a great reminder to slow down and focus completely on the beauty of nature all around us. Especially important advice with all the tech, AI, social media and nonstop news which can make a person mad. Here is my favorite quote which had great effect on my life as a young man and advice which I actually followed. Now at midlife, my life is more like the beginning of this quote with only occasional adventures.
Men come tamely home at night only from the next field or street, where their household echoes haunt, and their life pines because it breathes its own breath over again; their shadows, morning and evening, reach farther than their daily steps. We should come home from far, from adventures, and perils, and discoveries every day, with new experience and character.”

tired of using a magnifying glass for jumble in U.S.A. today. Fix it. It’s unbelievable

Fix it? …You’re joking, right?…I’m surprised you don’t realize that we here have nothing to do with the Jumble’s creation, nor the publication you’re using to play. You need to direct your extremely rude comment to the paper. They control the size of the puzzle.
