    🤷🏻‍♀️I’ll start off here with FIBULA, its solve was easy, breezy,
    But fitting it into our theme? It definitely made me queasy,…
    The word just can’t APPLY today, I’m in PENNY for pound…
    So that leaves me MOSAIC…which in life doesn’t know bounds…
    As far as this here puzzle goes, the land? Hardly a dimple…
    No bush, no tree…it’s desolate…and that’s it PLAIN AND SIMPLE! 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I think today’s words had to be the oddest group to cohesively get into our theme. Cohesive being the key word…I tried…but kept coming up with NOTHING…

  3. 👨🏻‍🦯 With a fractured FIBULA, it became PLAIN AND SIMPLE that now he wouldn’t be able to APPLY for a maintenance job at the PENNY Fair being held this weekend at MOSAIC Park…👨🏻‍🦯

    🤷🏻‍♀️The sweater was a pretty one, the MOSAIC print so fresh,
    She wondered what the cost was…pretty PENNY was her guess…
    Her sister broke her FIBULA, a nice gift it would make,
    Maybe APPLY for a job within…and then get a price break
    She pictures her sweet sister’s face…adorned with the cute dimples…
    And she knows that she needs buy it…boils down to PLAIN AND SIMPLE…🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. What a way to cap the week on this Saturday ! The anagrams were all there for me ! The jumble , I saw adjectives describing the land as treeless and level , then Plane came into view and I thought , would it be PLAIN or PLANE , then the word AND was there and that made it PLAIN AND SIMPLE ! Nice way to cap the weekend and get ready for a Sunday Funday ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!!!

  5. 🙏🏻 While in covered wagons they rode,
    And they carried quite the heavy load…
    Everything was so bleak,
    But the settler did seek…
    A place for a better abode…🙏🏻

    🤷🏻‍♂️ No bushes or trees to be seen,
    Just burnt grass that at one time was green….
    No relief from the sun,
    And of course once begun…
    There wasn’t any in-between!🤷🏻‍♂️

    👬🏻 We see Ebb and his buddy slow Flo,
    Who thinks barren is the way to go….
    He’s enjoying the view,
    But between me and you…
    Can’t help thinking his sights are set low…👬🏻

    🤦🏻‍♀️ Then again, I guess I’m being harsh,
    Wishing they’d come across a soft marsh…
    I’m not up on terrain,
    What’s to lose, what’s to gain…
    So perhaps my thoughts need to be squashed…🙋🏻‍♀️

    👍🏻Bottom line, it took months to succeed,
    Crossing the Plains in time of their need…
    It was all Westward Ho…
    And they packed up to go…
    Definitely all a stalwart breed! 👍🏻

  6. Tough 6-letter anagrams today. The blind solved helped with that. Started on anagrams after a pretty confident blind solve, but got stumped on MOSAIC. No problem, I thought. I’ll just do the fourth anagram and back in MOSAIC…not so fast pardner !!! FIBULA took a minute or two longer than expected…and I thought I was out in left field with both anagrams. FIBULA finally came (whew !!) and then the back-in for MOSAIC commenced. All in all, a successful Jumble morning, but I had my doubts along the way. As for America’s Manifest Destiny, if you’ve been crammed in a tenement in some east coast city….I guess that boundless plain looked pretty good to those settlers. Have a great Saturday

  7. Good morning. I had to look up Fibula and then got sidetracked with other things and when I realized I hadn’t completed jumble yet I just decided to look up the answer. Now I can take the time to see what is on todays posts. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Mosaic had me momentarily stumped,but having solved that,the cartoon was a quick solve even on a lazy Saturday.

  9. I too paused at mosaic but other than that things fell nicely into place on this sunny Saturday.

  10. The Great Plains are at the great airports! For what it’s worth- I find that extremely funny.
