    🍔His ANKLE ached because he STOOD so long on those first days,
    It seemed McDonald’s did EMERGE…the boy’s job here to stay…
    He worked for Ray, the pace was quick, the people lined outside,
    And Ray he was a happy man…McDonald’s now his pride…
    Sold soft drinks by the GALLON, but burgers were the goal…
    And Ray Kroc he saw soon enough business GET ON A ROLL! 🍔

    Although Ray Kroc wasn’t the founder of McDonald’s https://tinyurl.com/rnuhvs2z he sure did MEAT its challenge head-on…and he easily became known as that BURGER FRY…I mean Guy…

    Circa early 1960s..and we see Ray Kroc https://tinyurl.com/bddr8dxf at a McDonald’s franchise taking a BITE out of the fast food business. How things have changed…Nowadays, with inflation being so bad, rumor has it McDonald’s is thinking of selling the 1/4 ouncer!

  3. 🙇🏻‍♂️As soon as he STOOD he knew It wasn’t going to be easy trying to EMERGE from the house and GET ON A ROLL after dropping the GALLON container of oil on his ANKLE…🙇🏻‍♂️

    🥾She loved the brand new ANKLE boots, although the heels were high,
    She STOOD a little off balance while giving them a try…
    She doubted she could wear them and tote the GALLON jugs,
    But she so loved the fit of them, so comfortable and snug
    She tried to EMERGE farther, hoping they won’t take a toll…
    It might def be a day or two ‘fore she’d GET ON A ROLL! 🥾

  4. Good morning taco-Tuesday ! I think I’ll stay with tacos instead of a roll ! Anagrams were there to EMERGE for me ! I STOOD my ground until my ANKLE hurt so I ate another GALLON of jumble cells in my brain and I couldn’t place ROLL from a McDonald’s hamburger ! To me it was away from Big Mac , Egg McMuffin , and the rest of their Hamburg menu ! I want to say “ I’m loving it “ ! And today is our daughters birthday and she “ Deserves a break today “ ! Everyone GET ON A ROLL and bring on tomorrows jumble !!!!

    And the ice cream you’d so love to try…
    The machine never works,
    It’s a McDonald’s quirk…
    So it’s something you just never buy!🍦

    🥯 Egg McMuffins are quite the big hit,
    Bacon cheese you get on a biscuit…
    And there’s pancakes in morn,
    With the choices one’s torn…
    But I’ve never known them to sell grits! 🥯

    💲Ray Kroc definitely invested well,
    And he went on with burgers to sell,
    Restaurants they sprung up,
    Runneth over his cup!
    A success story he had to tell…💲

    ☕️Played his cards right and a gold mine sprung,
    Golden Arches all over were hung…
    People lined up to get,
    Coffee and a baguette…
    And McDonald’s praises were def sung…☕️

  8. So Ray Kroc’s business did seem to GET ON A ROLL, but if the word pattern is changed, one finds that it was NOT ALLEGRO and was LARGO LENTO, so it was really slow going. And I wonder about the double arches, which represents the letter M. I am surprised he didn’t use an ANTLER LOGO instead. Maybe he should have LEARNT LOGO and he’s a TALLER GOON than I thought. I note that GALLON’s letters appears in the solution, as ROTE GALLON, although I don’t know how a gallon of anything can be rote. GALLON should not appear in a Jumble anyway since it has the anagram LOGLAN, an artificial language. For the same reason, VISTA, KEEPER, and ALIAS should not appear in Jumbles.
