  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🎭 A SHORT STORY🎭

🎶 SHORT people…They got little baby legs and they stand so low…You got to pick ’em up just to say hello…🎶 “Short People” – Randy Newman 1977 https://tinyurl.com/msmmmz97

🎭He’s been around a long time, a PUPIL of the arts,

And PRETTY sure the years ahead will still afford him parts…

He can be sweet as HONEY, or a rascal that’s for sure,

(And GLASSY plays no role today…it’s all Danny du jour)

The man can make you laugh so hard so find that you might cry…

And so far for this actor…roles not IN SHORT SUPPLY…🎭

Today…We find the INCOMPARABLE, IMMEASURABLE Danny DeVito https://tinyurl.com/45udp5f8  being interviewed…discussing his STATURE in the entertainment industry…And with the very leading nature of our question…”4 feet, 10 inches” (= SHORT) and Danny’s very witty response regarding his ability to secure roles, (= SUPPLY)…our puzzle’s gone to great LENGTHS to bring us another easy, breezy solve…Actors like Danny DeVito? …Definitely IN SHORT SUPPLY https://tinyurl.com/4vza76ej  …And that’s the long and SHORT of it today…

So…There you have it, Folks …Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who desperately wanted to be a mentor. But at 4 foot, 11…people just found it too hard to look up to him…🎭🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🍯 The PRETTY GLASSY looking containers of HONEY were IN SHORT SUPPLY, and the PUPIL offered to fetch some more…🍯

🤦🏻‍♀️ The PUPIL, name of HONEY, was PRETTY sure she’d she win,
Without the GLASSY ornaments…but then to her chagrin
Someone else found a bunch of them…left Honey high and dry…
She shouldn’t have believed that they were still IN SHORT SUPPLY..🤦🏻‍♀️

  4. 🎭While life does have its ups and downs,
There’s dunce caps and then there’s the crowns…
    An actor’s life swings,
    With each role that brings…
    The laughter, the drama…the frowns…🎭

🤷🏻‍♂️Some are dashing…they light up the screen,
And then there are those in-between…
    But in DeVito’s case,
    It’s hard to erase…
That he’s far from the normal routine…🤷🏻‍♂️

🎭With his stature comes roles that are rare,
The round hole and he’s the peg that’s square…
    He’s one of a kind,
    And can be defined…
An actor who’s hard to compare…🎭

👍🏻From “Twins” to De Palma he’s shown,
The acting skills that he has honed…
    The man makes one laugh,
    Be assured it’s no gaffe…
And over the years he has grown…👍🏻

👏🏻👏🏻…No pun is intended with that,
    The characters Danny’s begat?
    They are memorable all,
    Yes DeVito stands tall…
And for that…major tip of the hat! 👏🏻👏🏻
