  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🏴‍☠️ THERE’S THAT PLANK STARE!🏴‍☠️

🎶 Red SAILS in the sunset….Way out on the sea….Oh, carry my loved one …HOME SAFELY to me…🎶 “Red Sails in the Sunset” – The Platters 1960 https://tinyurl.com/3pxkjrnz

🏴‍☠️ So Blackbeard’s taking center stage, the Jumble GUEST today,
While some may think he’s fictional…he’s real as the long day…
And people definitely feared him…once BITTEN…and twice shy,
He proved to be quite ruthless…leaving victims high and dry..
He and his crew drank lots of mead, the HONEY though not ‘nuff,
It didn’t sweeten them a bit…Old Blackbeard he was tough…
(And here’s where CAMPUS bites the dust…there’s no way it will float)…
In today’s tale of the high seas, pirates and a “THUG” BOAT! 🏴‍☠️

Well…AYE-yi-AYE! Shiver Me Timbers!! What d’ya know? All new anagrams! And good ones to boot! And it was only MUACSP that had three of the Early Birds going PLANK…I mean blank…

So, Edward Teach, Blackbeard… https://tinyurl.com/4afdhvkr the infamous English pirate, seen here living up to his reputation with his foot on his prone prisoner’s back…And with his crew he’s doing what he did best…taunting and robbing his captives. And if you MEAD….I mean heed the dialogue…the solve is served up on a SILVER platter…”Can you swim”? “Make him walk the plank”…”Pillage”…Plus in a bit of whimsy…”tie the ships together” …Blackbeard’s will serve as a TUGBOAT! …So…with the crew being notorious THUGS? …The pirate ship was a …”THUG” BOAT!

The Gems? Blackbeard, his scar intact, has tiny ribbons in his beard, which he was known to twist into the hair….The hilt of his sword, (which is worn strapped across his chest), is engraved with a skull and crossbones matching his ship’s flag…He’s wearing three rings on his right hand, and a fourth on his left…the spoils of his many lootings, I’m sure. The two bearded pirates, (one with ear piercings) have banded beards…while the third wears a spiked amulet around his neck. ..And the four unfortunate, aristocratic captives have PLANK looks on their faces that say it all…And speaking of…the plank can be seen off to the left…And of course…where there’s water? For SHORE there’s the ever present Sinking Sailboat…

So…There you have it Folks…Done…Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and keep in mind…To err is human…to ARR?…A bad sign! 🏴‍☠️🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🍯 When they reached CAMPUS they were tired and frost BITTEN and ordered some hot tea with HONEY from the GUEST lounge before attending the TUGBOAT conference…🍯

⛵️ The child liked the water, she was so drawn to the sea,
And the folks at the marina said, “Come be a GUEST, HONEY”…
It was behind the CAMPUS, and she went there with her Dad,
She’d been BITTEN by the sea’s bug..and Dad knew this was no fad
She looked out over all the boats…watching them bob and float…
And Dad suggested that they start by boarding a TUGBOAT…⛵️

  3. This was a fun one….
Thug boat was a great solution
    Anagrams were easy;
    Good day overall!!!!

  4. Good morning ! It’s taco-Tuesday and I’m getting my favorite won-ton tacos ! Todays jumble was so much fun , not even the meanest THUG could stop me , but the pirates on the boat were definitely mean THUGS , so their boat was a THUG BOAT ! I got all the anagrams as sweet as HONEY ! I felt like I was their GUEST and no way any would have BITTEN me ! Yesterday and today made me feel like I was at “ comfortable anagram university “ and I was on CAMPUS ! Very well written jumble today ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday !!!

  5. 🏴‍☠️ From a ship that was dismal and dank,
Men were hijacked and threatened with plank…
Were they brought to their deaths?
    Did they harbor regrets?
Bottom line they had Blackbeard to thank..🏴‍☠️

⛓ He was ruthless and had a mean streak,
Robbed his victims until they would squeak..
    He and his motley crew,
Took what they felt their due…
Others riches is what they did seek…⛓

💰 Standing tall and imposing in black,
He was known to be quick to hijack…
He struck fear in men’s hearts,
    While possessions they’d part…
Ship by ship he’d quite deftly ransack! 💰

🧔🏻‍♀️ With a beard that he’d twist round and latch,
Colored ribbons he then would attach…
Doffed a hat with wide brim,
Knee length boots seen on him…
His appearance surely had no match! 🧔🏻‍♀️

🗡 When it came down to pillage and loot,
Bluebeard proved that it was his strong suit,…
    With his pistols and swords,
    He was an overlord…
And was known to be a thug and brute! 🗡

  6. Good morning. Two easy peezy jumbles for the start of the week. No looking back, straight down the row right to the cartoon answer. No blind solve though. Enjoyable watching the sunset rise or depart for the night. Nice slow melody from a great group. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  7. So many clues given out but I couldn’t put together for a blind solve !!! I mean..”Tie the ships together and tow them in”?? like a Tug boat…THUG boat?? Really missed that one. Like others, easy anagrams and puzzle solved quickly. Pretty song, Angela…A croon tune !!

  8. With a pose so mean and so proud
    Led their lives completely unbowed
Were so full of swagger –
    The plank or the dagger?
Those pirates – a real thuggish crowd!

  9. Fun Jumble today with no real problems. The college Guest toured the Campus and was Bitten by a Honey-bee. Then a ride on a ‘Thug’ Boat prompted him to look elsewhere for an education. Lots of much-needed rain on the Plains. Sailing on into Spring!

  10. Hi All – I always have a little problem with Campus but not that much today. I thought this drawing and the recent skunk one were great. Clever answer and very funny dialogue too!
