Except for LOYID, we’ve once again been given new anagrams to work with today. And the Early Birds gave the GREEN LIGHT to them all. Easy, breezy. And the solve? An AUTOmatic read…With the word ADD being given in both the teacher’s dialogue and the question, and the teacher being specifically identified as a MATH teacher …plus the car in the background definitely TOTALED…it didn’t TAKE much, (no pun intended) to FIGURE this one out…They added up the costs…and then TOTALED IT!
Our cartoon? I’ve never been in our guy’s shoes, and maybe I AUTO know this, but I’m not all that familiar with a towing company giving repair estimates…But…when in Rome. And Tom – or Josh (hard to tell), according to his name tag, proprietor of the Tic Tac Towing Company, seems DRIVEN to SUM it all up…The gems? The teacher’s pocket protector is always a DRAW, and the Tic-Tac-Toe symbols, “X and O” on the company’s signage is very clever…But what DROVE it home for me? If you look real closely, and BLOW UP the panel, you can see the deflated air bag at the driver’s seat. Gave me an AUTOmatic smile…

🤷🏻♀️ Looking to purchase an old DOILY or two, she came across one the blue shade of LAGOON water, and wondered if it and the BUTTER colored one were the TOKEN pieces in those shades..and wanting both, she checked the price tags and TOTALED IT against the money she had left…🤷🏻♀️
📦 She found her Grandma’s keepsake box, now faded so from age,
Inside she found a TOKEN, and a DOILY and some sage…
A photo from Typhoon LAGOON she took at Disney World,
A lock of BUTTER colored hair…still shaped into a curl…
And even an old picture of her Uncle in a snit…

Good morning , start of the week Monday ! Todays jumble was nice and fun ! I loved it ! I got all the anagrams easy and the jumble solution was a perfect connection with math , and the cost to repair it adding up the bill to find out it’s not worth that much ! Had a blind solve on the tip of my tongue…but didn’t muster the wee bit of brain power to add it all up, although I kind of knew it was a past tense “ED” word followed by “IT”. Easily unscrambled anagrams for the solve. Great song choice…that video looks very much like all the ones we used to see on MTV in the mid-80’s. Raining in central Texas, thank heavens.

Aside from seeing Ongoal instead of Lagoon – which I knew was wrong – I had an easy day. Watching too much hockey and the ongoal shots count I guess. I have been there with a vehicle that needs more repairs than it’s worth. Loved the Totaled It answer. Rain, glorious rain, coming to the Plains.
