And we see KING Kong, https://tinyurl.com/wxn6v7d7 lying beside a pool, under a canopy, enjoying a “GIANT” SIZED something, and joined by the movie’s director, KONG Howard, and the script girl, R U KITTEN Me…who looks like she just can’t STOMACH the whole thing…And even though we’ve seen Kong in our puzzles many times before, this is all NEW…YORK Peppermint Patties, perhaps? Too many PumpKING donuts? Or the PIZZA (de) no résistance? Whatever it’s been…The size of him? Well, it takes one’s BREADTH away! With his weight having CLIMBED to such an extreme, just as he says, there’s no WRAY he could SCALE a building now…And it may be just a little too late for a trainer at this point…somebody should have REIGNed him in a long time ago. He’s just FAY too unFIT now. And as far as Godzilla goes? Who knows…there might be some SEOUL searching with that…BUTT the bottom line? 🤦🏻♂️The pandemic def caused quite a “weigh”, Of putting on pounds day by day… Not much to do but eat, Overindulge in sweets… To try and our boredom allay…🤦🏻♂️
👎🏻The “Quarantine Fifteen” took hold, The story’s now pretty much old… But trying to lose, What was caused by the blues? For many just didn’t unfold…👎🏻
🦍So maybe Kong fell in that rut, And now has himself quite the gut… Victim of the ennui, But he’s needing to be… Able to climb and maintain a strut…🦍
🤷🏻♂️What the outcome will be…it’s not clear, Obvious though that for Kong’s career?… It’s not looking so well, With that huge stomach swell… And it might be that curtains are near!🤷🏻♂️
OMG ! I feel so happy for today’s , end of the work week Friday ! I got all the anagrams , not one was a problem ! The jumble with 14 letters and 5 words , didn’t slow me down at all ! My first word that came was KING , then I I tried NOT A , and the letters left came right to me , NOT FIT FOR A KING ! I was so happy ! And to top it off even more , Angela was your song choice , “King of the road “ ! Your post was right on ! I’m a little lost about your friends PLANE TO CATCH , but it doesn’t matter cause everything was perfect ! Have a great Friday ! Everyone have a good day !!!!

It was almost a complete blind solve this morning…but I missed that strike ball just a weeeee bit on the outside !! Upon a first look, several correct words popped up like FOR A and KING. Anyway, unscrambled the anagrams for a quick solution. Thanks for a wonderful song, too. I think you’re saying “Playing Solitaire ‘til dawn with a stack of 51” are lyrics in the song “Flowers on the Wall” written by Lew DeWitt a founding member of The Statler Brothers. They had a hit with that song. The lyrics aren’t in “King of the Road.” Arleen

Good morning. Easy breezy again today even the cartoon once all the letters were down. Loved your song choice Angela. My oldest son has it by Dean Martin in his car and I’m telling him even though I love Dean Martin, Roger Millers is better. This concert version is actually not as good as the record. He just texted me that Jerry Vale’s “My Way” is better than Franks and he loves Frank. It’s fun to have difference of opinions. Until tomorrow take care.
