    • Good Morning, Everyone…🪹 GOING OUT ON A LIMB 🪹

🎶 He rocks in the TREETOPS all day long, hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and a-singing his song…All the little BIRDS on Jaybird Street, love to hear the ROBIN go tweet, tweet, tweet…Rockin” ROBIN…🎶…”Rockin” Robin” – Bobby Day 1958 https://tinyurl.com/55ef57kn

🪹 A little bird who had true GROUT…oh sorry I meant grit,
Felt life was like a JEWEL…and he wanted to live it…
Just like a KITTEN, curiosity grabbed hold of him,
And he just thought of fleeing…with no thought of something grim…
The little bird, yes daring…and by no means a MISFIT…
      He’s figuring he’ll take a shot…and that he’ll JUST WING IT! 🪹

Looks like birds of a feather don’t flock together…

Today, a bird’s nest…and three baby birds…Larry, Moe and Curly., two brothers and a sister. We see Moe and Curly, appearing very appreHENSive, while Larry, an adventurous sort, obviously possessing TREEmendous WANDERlust…announces that he’s “anxious to leave the nest”. and plans to take the LUNGE and go for IT…So while his siblings stay NESTled in place, we see our LARRY BIRD, WINGs a flutter, proclaiming that you “gotta learn sometime”, ready to leap from a GREAT HEIGHT, and, ON THE FLY, casting his fate to the WIND, deciding to JUST WING IThttps://tinyurl.com/cm65btr4 …And there’s no need to hear another PEEP about this from me…this solve’s definitely taken FLIGHT…

…And I was hoping to see someone standing at the house’s big bay window, but alas,…no BIRD WATCHERS hAIR today…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I suppose if Larry doesn’t do well out thAIR on his own… (I mean, let’s face it, it’s not like he saved up a little NEST EGG before LEAFing)…and becomes NESTolgic for home, I’m sure he can always sWING back to the security of the Family TREE …I doubt his parents would be ROBIN him of that… 🪹🙋🏻‍♀️

    • 🤦🏻‍♂️Thinking he could JUST WING IT and GROUT the tiles by himself, he felt like a MISFIT, when before he could even start, his KITTEN, JEWEL, traipsed through the mixture…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️The GROUT looked like a JEWEL had been spread into the mix,
He needed to fill in some cracks…albeit a quick fix…
He might be a MISFIT with it, a KITTEN. on the loose,
Just skittering around..and feeling he’s slightly obtuse
Determined though to do the job, he went at it with grit…
False confidence?…Perhaps…but he felt he could JUST WING IT! 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • 🐦 A bird with a young lust for life,
      Isn’t thinking there’ll be any strife…
      So he plans to embark,
Just take off on a lark…
Leaving siblings, his Dad and Dad’s wife…🐦

🪹 While his brother frets the timing’s wrong,
And his sis tweets ‘bout parents in song…
      Young Larry feels his oats,
      Says, “I don’t need old cotes…
      And I’m longing to learn…so, so long”… 🪹

      ❓And he’s flapping his wings…it’s a first,
‘Cause It’s freedom for which the bird thirsts…
Thing is will he fly straight?
      Can he carry his weight?
Or is Larry’s bubble ‘bout to burst?…❓

🤷🏻‍♂️Guess Larry’s no different than teens,
Thinking there’s grass out there that’s “more green”…
      So he’s taking a shot,
Try to fly to a spot…
Where there’s other birds that he has seen…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤞🏻Here’s to hoping Larry will stay safe,
And the worst thing he might lose is face…
What will Mom & Dad say,
      ‘Bout their bird gone astray?…
Probably put Larry back in his place! 🤞🏻

  2. a great way to cap the week off Saturday! We got in late , but I had to post ! I had to take a couple days off for an out of town family matter , but I’m back today , and what a nice way to welcome me back ! I didn’t at all feel like a MISFIT , cause there was no confusion in the GROUT ! I’m gonna give myself a JEWEL and give my KITTEN some food ! The jumble sounded like a young bird that’s ready to fly away and get life going ! So WING came to me right out , and there’s no other reason to not , so JUST DO IT! And Angela your song choice is one of my all time favorites ! I sing it all the time when I’m ready to cut lose ! So everyone have a great day and get ready for Sunday Funday !!!!!!

  3. Cute little Saturday puzzle, though I missed a blind solve by a small margin. Saw the “J” in the anagrams and thought maybe JUMP would be a part of the solution, but was wrong there. Even musing over JUST didn’t being a possible second word. Oh my !!! Anyway, completed the anagrams and put that puppy, or rather bird…to bed. Love your song choice and used to play on the piano all the time. Think I’ll do that today. BTW, what prompted you to name the birds?? Just poetic license?? But it fits. Enjoy this second day of March. Terry

    • Hey Terry…You must realize that I try to come up with punny pop-culture-ish names for the characters in most of the puzzles, but they always go unnoticed…and unappreciated here. Thank God not so amongst my friends and family…Maybe the names I use aren’t recognized, IDK. But anyway, when i decided on Larry Bird, for obvious reasons, it just fit that with two other characters, I could go with Moe and Curly. I trusted that the name Larry Bird would be recognizable …and also the Moe Larry and Curly reference. 🪹🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Good morning. I see from the stats that very few people had much thinking to do for the words. It was easy as 123. No blind solve but done with speed as well. Love your song choice with video Angela. Never knew who was the singer or heard of Bobby Day before. Thanks for broadening my music knowledge. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. And you’re welcome…These old videos are really something, aren’t they? So campy…such an innocent time back then I suppose. And yes, a very easy one today.. Take care and have a good one. 🪹🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Whew, my losing streak is broken with a clean sweep of the anagrams and a virtual near obvious blind solve of the cartoon! As I said, Whew! Chuck.

    • LOL! 👏🏻👏🏻! Happy to hear it, Prof. 🪹🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Automatically? What do you mean?…There’s a new puzzle posted here every day..🤷🏻‍♀️
