  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🤦🏻‍♀️TOO HOT TO TROT🤦🏻‍♀️

    🎶FEVER…in the morning…and FEVER all through the night…🎶…”Fever” – Miss Peggy Lee 1958 https://tinyurl.com/ycb273xd

🤦🏻‍♀️Poor WILLOW got sick Friday, as the week came to an end,
She saw her plans just SHRINK away, her fever did OFFEND…
…The joy that she was feeling…excited to get out,
And dine at the new bistro…reservations took some clout…
Her body aches as if KARATE blows had taken toll…Her head’s stuffed up, it’s hard to breath…since last night she’s been cold…

    Her fever’s high, she’s hoping it won’t EXCEED 102,
Her husband’s there to PEDDLE soup…she’s just feeling so blue
Their two days off are ruined…she’s seeing all her joy descend…
It looks like our poor Willow’s facing a WEAKENED WEEKEND…🤦🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately, I find myself in Willow’s shoes, so I’ve no RESERVATIONS aBOUT making this quick and getting back to bed…

So…Today…the home of WILLOW TREE, and her husband, GALLAN. And everything we’re seeing here speaks for itself. Willow got sick on Friday = the WEEK’S END. She’s running a fever, =  she’s WEAKENED…And with Saturday being the start of the WEEKEND…and Monday morning being mentioned…our girl’s experiencing a…WEAKENED WEEKEND…And that’s all she throat…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Willow’s holding a thermometer in her hand…But Gallan bringing his sick wife soup in bed? Priceless…❤️

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who always feels great on Saturday and Sunday, but sick all the other days…He definitely has a WEEKEND immune system…🤦🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🥋When the numbers began to EXCEED what was planned…with no hope they’d SHRINK…and not wanting to OFFEND anyone by turning them away, or PEDDLE the cause for rescheduling, they decided to hold the two day KARATE meet outside in the WILLOW grove…avoiding a WEAKENED WEEKEND…🥋

🙇🏻‍♂️He felt as if KARATE blows had brought him to his knees,
He couldn’t PEDDLE an excuse…he’d need to take his leave…
He saw his lead SHRINK early on, and yes, it did OFFEND him,
That last stretch by the WILLOW trees?…it started turning grim
EXCEED his expectations? Not this time…there’s no Godsend…
    He’s going home defeated…it’s been a WEAKENED WEEKEND…🙇🏻‍♂️

  4. 🙇🏻‍♀️You work hard all week and can’t wait,
For those two days…oh how they elate…
Then a wrench gets thrown in,
    Because to your chagrin…
You find yourself feeling third rate…🙇🏻‍♀️

    🤷🏻‍♀️Reservations made weeks in advance,
    Only now there’s no getting a chance…
    To have your night out,
    You’ve come down with a bout…
Of something no words can enhance…🤷🏻‍♀️

🛌 And your Saturday night’s shot to hell,
‘Cause there’s no way that you’re feeling well…
You’ll be stuck in your bed,
    Throat sore…pains in your head…
    Who knows what’s wrong…only pray tell…🛌

🤦🏻‍♀️So for Willow it’s looking so bleak,
Anticipation that she felt all week?
    By the wayside it’s strewn,
    With plans that are ruined…
    ‘Cause sadly Willow’s up +#@=(‘s creek…🤦🏻‍♀️

🙏🏻Here’s to hoping she’ll feel better soon,
So that next weekend they can resume…
    Enjoying two days,
    In their usual ways…
And not singing this sad woeful tune…🙏🏻

  5. I get up at 12:30 am to do this puzzle every day. I am addicted to doing this puzzle .

  6. Sundays puzzles are frequently harder than the ones during the week. Not this one. It was quickly finished, but had a fun answer.

  7. I was brought to my knees by this Sunday’s puzzle…First spelled KARATE as RETAKE, corrected that, but somehow got a “P” in the letter mix. I knew the second word was WEEKEND, but couldn’t make heads or tails of the first word, and totally missed the (I guess) homonyms of the first and second words. Enjoy your Sunday. Thanks for the post, Angela…and have a great Sunday. Terry

  8. Funday Sunday ! Wow ! I can’t believe all the anagrams were there for me and not one was a problem ! The jumble , with all th E’s and K’s and W’s , something was going to be a response of , oh yea ! And it was , cause going into Friday and Saturday and being sick was a WEAKENED WEEKEND ! I was really excited about getting a Sunday jumble real quick ! This one was a Funday Sunday ! Great way to get ready for a new jumble week ! A very nice post Angela , to describe all the scenarios of the jumble always fun and interesting ! Have a good Sunday !!!!!

  9. After a brief pause on karate and despite the many letters the cartoon was a quick solve with a clever play on the similar 2 worded answer. Definitely a switch for me who usually have trouble with the Sunday Jumbles. Chuck..

  10. Good morning. Not much trouble on either parts. I was unable to get the blind solve but in putting the letters down I noticed that both words were similar with one a for the eight letter word and the e for the seven letter word. Perfect song pick for today Angela and no one does it better than her. Until tomorrow take care.

  11. Unfortunately, I find myself in Willow’s shoes, so I’ve no RESERVATIONS aBOUT making this quick and getting back to bed…

Are you really feeling sick ? Hope not.

    Thanks

    Stan

      • Good afternoon. I kind of thought you hinted that you were not feeling 100% but it slipped my mind. Hope rest will do you wonders. Let’s hope tomorrow brings renewed health.

      • Sorry you’re feeling under the weather, wishing you a quick recovery. Chuck.

  12. Cute puzzle this morning. Surprisingly easy solve for a Sunday. Have a good day all! Betty
