  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

⚒️ ARMOR GONNA NEED THIS IN A BIGGER SIZE! ⚒️

    🎶It’s been. HARD day’s KNIGHT…and I’ve been working like a dog…🎶 “A Hard Day’s Night” – (with apologies to) The Beatles 1964  https://tinyurl.com/49uyr6wy

⚒️He’s feeling kind of DISMAL, our Knight by name of Fred,

He’s at the shop out by the GROVE, the one that’s owned by Ed…

Needing a suit of armor, he’s worried ‘bout the fit,

An ARTERY feels squashed…the legs need altering a bit

His usual shop out by the WHARF had up and closed its doors…

Now Ed’s the only game in town far as a “HARD-WEAR” STORE…⚒️

Our KNIGHT https://tinyurl.com/mr3jfccu toDAY, (no pun intended), Fred, has always prided himself on having a fine CHISELed body…but it’s looking like he may have PUT ON SOME WEIGHT…

So…Today, we find ourselves at “ED’S ARMOR-GEDDON FOR YOU”…where he specializes in suits for the Knight who fancies himself a fashion PLATE, yet STEEL wants that much needed protection. And we meet Fred, in need of a new suit of HARD armor, but whose usual clothing store closed. So Ed’s place, for him, is a KNIGHT for sore eyes…Only he’s a tad FIT to be TIED, because he feels Ed’s not GIVING him A LEG UP with his choice of body WEAR…and not looking to get SCREWed, he’s having a HARD time getting comfortable with OIL of it…But since there’s no SIR PLUS of establishments that CRATER to suits of this kind, LEATHER or not Fred is thrilled about the leg size not SUITing his taste right now, he can’t BOLT…so he’s no other choice but to grin and WEAR it…It’s the only, and I “quote”, “HARD-WEAR” STORE https://tinyurl.com/mrvfjpw7 in town…So let’s hope Ed NAILED it…because we OIL know how an ill-fitting suit can be a real KNIGHTmare…And with that…we’ve solved another GREASY, breezy one…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The top front of Fred’s head looks odd, but I’m not one to SPLIT HAIRS. A pair of gauntlets at right bear the images of a snake…and you gotta love the pencil behind Ed’s ear. I really enjoy Jeff’s little GRAPHITE details…And if you look real closely, you’ll see the name “Ed” on Ed’s name tag… I bet you thought I MADE THAT UP just to SUIT myself…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who met a woman who told him she was looking for a knight in “shining armor”…Hoping to win her hand, he went out and bought her a piece of “lacquered furniture”… https://tinyurl.com/2wyczyta  …and was SIRprised when she had no idea why…Needless to say, SIR far he’s STEEL out there trying to SIRcumnavigate the dating world… ⚒️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. …AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…The puzzle of June 27th, 2014. “The Knight bought his armor at the”… “HARD-WEAR” STORE…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 👍🏻After finishing the assigned articles about a GROVE, a WHARF and a traffic ARTERY, he decided to turn his boring, DISMAL day around and do a DIY…but first a trip to the HARDWARE STORE…👍🏻

🎨 The art shop opened at the WHARF, and it drew quite the crowd,
The signage read, “The ARTERY”, in colors pretty loud
The GROVE had proven DISMAL, they’re much happier at the shore…
And after this it’s groceries and then the HARDWARE STORE…🎨

  4. …AND IN OTHER WORDS…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. 🤷🏻‍♂️For a Knight I’m sure life could be tough,
Stuck in armor that’s hard and quite rough…
But it was what it was,
    And all because…
They needed to protect their duffs…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️In battle for most of the time,
    Life probably wasn’t sublime…
So a suit that ill fit,
Would have def been the pits…
And these guys needed to remain prime…🤦🏻‍♂️

⚒️So today we see middle-aged Fred,
    Getting fitted by off-the-cuff Ed…
    With his hammer in tow,
He feels with a few blows…
He’ll get that old iron to spread…⚒️

🤷🏻‍♂️But we can see that Fred has some doubt,
His legs hardly can move about…
    And suggestion of grease?
    That’s supposed to increase…
    …Mobility…seems to lack clout…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️But for Fred…sadly his hands are tied,
Since there’s no other shop far and wide…
    So the bullet he’ll bite,
    ‘Cause for this worried Knight?…
Only old Ed can cover his hide!🤦🏻‍♂️

  6. little bit of a hump-day Wednesday ! The anagrams were all good but the last word made me DISMAL! The jumble was a thinking quotation marks one ! So I looked for the last word and it looked like he was shopping so STORE came to me ! So I had to really study how it was difficult to fit him so HARD WEAR was there !! I was very happy ! What tops it off is my favorite band The Beatles song , Angela good one ! So this Meade me thirsty for tomorrows jumble on Thursday ! Have a good day !!!!!

  7. A blind solve escaped me this morning, although it seems pretty easy after the fact. I did get STORE before doing the anagrams. After that, it was pretty easy to put together. Beatles are always nice. Thanks for all the intricate detail you told us about….always so interesting. Again, thanks for pointing out National Vanilla Ice Cream day yesterday….I am still reveling in that little bit of desert. Thanks for a nice post, Angela. Terry

  8. I see Ed’s nameplate, but how did you determine Fred’s name?

  9. Good morning. I guess the blueberries were not doing anything for me this morning as I had a heck of a time on three words which seemed like forever to get. I drew a blank on the cartoon answer and went for the answer. Once you see it you wonder how it eluded you. Oh well, I did enjoy all your post Angela. Since I’m not a tequila man, I’ll toast you with a glass of wine at dinner. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. I’ll do the same for you! 🍷Take care. ⚒️🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Help! I’m in a Jumble slump, got stumped on the artery anagram , thinking it was a misspelled’Rarety’ , so lacked an A for the cartoon solution . Maybe I need a Jumbkr break? Chuck.

  11. Blind solve for me today. Thanks for sharing the little details in the drawing. I always need a magnifying glass to find them after you tell where they are.

    Thanks

    Stan
