  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    🧵 LET’S NOT NEEDLE THE GIRL…SHE’S TRYING 🧵

🎶 Did you say I had a LOT TO LEARN?…Well, don’t think I’m trying not to learn…Since this is the perfect spot to learn?..TEACH ME tonight…🎶 “Teach Me Tonight” – Jo Stanford 1954 https://tinyurl.com/3ra4etpp

🧵 Her Mom is showing MERCY, there’s things she will ADJUST,
No need to POUNCE on shortcomings, best that she garner trust…
(And WHARF will not ap”pier” in rhyme…this theme it doesn’t fit),
Instead we’ll concentrate on our girl and her show of grit..
The child’s trying hard we see, although she lacks the touch…
A job in her Mom’s Bridal Shop? Uh, right now…NOT “SEW” MUCH! 🧵

SEW…Another puzzle dealing with clothing, or fabric, or sewing…Hmm…Is it just me, or do we SEAM to be seeing a PATTERN here?…A common THREAD?

Ok…I’m a firm believer in that we learn from our mistakes, and here’s a prime exSAMPLE…The only way our budding seamstress will hone her craft is by practicing…And Mom’s positive REINFORCEment SEAMS like just what’s needed right now….And AISLE bet before we know it, our girl will be bRINGing her A-game to that Bridal Shop …But as of now? Uh…Let’s be honest here…There’s no SKIRTing the issue…I’m GOWN on record to say…NOT “SEW” MUCH

SEW…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and remember…when it comes to our children…always PRACTICE what you TEACH…🧵🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 👨🏻‍⚖️When it came to the recent spate of rampant theft at the WHARF, the Judge was ready to ADJUST his schedule and POUNCE on those responsible…MERCY? NOT SO MUCH…👨🏻‍⚖️

⛴ His boat left early from the WHARF, he was the first to POUNCE,
It was a good day to catch fish and sell them by the ounce…
The boaters showed no MERCY, the competition stiff,
It was a cutthroat business…but they tried to avoid rift…
He made sure to ADJUST his time to avoid crowds and such…
He hoped he’d be successful…Confidence though?…NOT SO MUCH!

  4. Good morning Saturday weekend ! I had no problem with the anagrams , so I wanted to POUNCE on the jumble ! I couldn’t see the cartoon so I had to ADJUST to the MERCY of the jumble quote ! And it was a question , I felt like I was left on the WHARF , but I just had to POUNCE on it and I did ! I saw SEWN and that left the letters MCHUTO , well MUCH was there , so I took the N away from SEWN to make it SEW and then the answer to the question about was she an expert seamstress ? NOT SEW MUCH ! Fun Saturday jumble ! I hope everyone has a great weekend !!!!!

  5. Goodnesscrasious !!! A spelling error doomed my efforts today…somehow came up with an A instead of an H, and couldn’t spell MUCH. An early look-see gave me SEW, and maybe a NOT, but that was that. Speedy anagrams gave me those two words but the third word eluded me for the above reasons…Teacher now tells me to go spell WHARF ten times on the blackboard !!! I just love those Sammy Cahn lyrics to your song. Great song…and I need someone to TEACH ME TONIGHT (to spell WHARF). Enjoy your weekend.

    • Good Morning, Terry. I so agree…they’re amazing lyrics…it’s a great song. And the arrangement’s Paul Weston’s…Jo Stafford’s husband. They made beautiful music together …in more ways than one. They were married almost 50 years until he passed away in the late 90s. It’s all musical gold…🎶🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. I was stumped by the correct spelling of wharf and then thought the first word in the cartoon was she which stumped me completely. Our first and oldest grandchild,Emily, turns 21 today,Happy Birthday Emily!
