🔭The invention of the Telescope…but oh, these words today,
I’d RATHER trade them all in…let’s face it there’s no way…
I’m getting ELOPE, KIOSK and GAZEBO to fit in,
…With this theme that we have here…there’s just nowhere to begin
We’re dealing with a starry night and a moon floating free…
And a crowd that now is gathering, all to TAKE A LOOK-SEE…🔭
Today…The Netherlands…and a beautiful, clear, starlit sky…where we OBSERVE the Telescope … https://tinyurl.com/ymezbs4d defined as “a tubular instrument for viewing = SEEING distant objects”, changing HANS. And that, combined with the dialogue, of who I believe to be Hans Lipperhey, https://tinyurl.com/5jf6cmcm , “Everyone will get to” = TAKE a turn…this one solved itself. And besides…we’ve SEEN it before…(The puzzle of March 28th, 2018 https://tinyurl.com/2vnuzma9) …People wanted to…TAKE A LOOK-SEE…https://tinyurl.com/48x88rr4 …And we’re through LOOKing for today!
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend whose telescope broke…He brought it to the local observatory hoping they could repair it for him…They told him they’d LOOK INTO IT…🔭🙋🏻♀️

Got the answer and the anagrams fast but I didn’t get the play on words or the double meaning. Did I miss it or was it just clever. Yes, “look-see” is an expression and they were looking and seeing but was that it?

A nice Wednesday and just a small hump Wednesday ! The anagrams made me a little frustrated with myself cause I should’ve gotten the two I had to look up ! Cause the one , I know we’ve had before ! And that was GAZEBO ! I guess I just got lazy and gave up on it ! And ELOPE didn’t come to me either ! Now the jumble was there ! The one thing you do with a telescope is LOOK in it to SEE things close ! And SEE was the first word that came to me and then LOOK and what was left gave me TAKE A LOOK SEE when I saw it , I was really pleased ! Angela , I put the song on by Johnny Mathis and my suzie started singing it right away ! She loved it.! Your friend should’ve told them , I’ll gonna telescope on you ! I was really pleased with the jumble on thiursdsy

Wow, another blind solve to start the day…that always makes me giddy !! All the anagrams solved pretty quickly to check my solution. Very prolific and interesting post today, Angela, especially your broken telescope joke. And another delightful tune from the Great American Songbook thanks to Errol Garner and Johnny Burke. This is all a great start to the humpday !! Terry

Good morning. Had to look up Gazebo and since I’m pressed for time and no clue as to the cartoon answer I went straight for the answer. Loved your song choice Angela and the suspense movie Misty with that lead song. Until tomorrow take care.

Too much jumble for me. Overly confusing. One Jumble a day was adequate, and sufficient.
Also found overall changes to entire paper too confusing to even begin to manage. Tempted to cancel our subscription to the Sun Paper.

I’m not sure what you mean by one Jumble a day, but you do realize that we here have nothing to do with any newspaper. Whatever concerns and/or confusion you’re experiencing needs to be directed to your individual paper. All we do here is offer help with the puzzle and commentary on it. We’ve no affiliation with anything else. 🙋🏻♀️
