  1. Good Morning, Everyone….🚕 RIDE ‘EM AND KEEP 🚕

    🎶”Angela” – The Theme from “Taxi” – Bob James 1978  https://tinyurl.com/mrxfbucu

🚕 She had a driver once, a GROUCH…so she switched companies,
It was the day her ZIPPER snapped…clear in her memory…
She didn’t KNOCK the company, but used it as a GUIDE,
She’d hate to go through that again…unpleasant was the ride
But this new fleet is wonderful…and on her way to sup…
She’s glad her favorite driver is the one that’s PICKING UP! 🚕

Today…Another case of déjà vu…As soon as my eyes LANDED on our cartoon, that bell SEDANly went off…and I PICKED UP on it right away. I was like…Hmm…FUEL for thought…And knowing how I take pRIDE in my Jumble reCALL, of COURSE I got down to BUSINESS…And I found myself in the DRIVER’S seat… https://tinyurl.com/ywpk6pa6 The puzzle of November 7th, 2021…We’ve traveled this RODE before… https://tinyurl.com/26zkkva4

So…With a plane just taking off in the distance…(note the wheels still extended), after having TAXIed on the runway…we’re at the airport… where we meet our well-HEELED traveler, Taylor LIFT. Having just landed, as a MOTOR of fact, and headed to meet a friend for dinner, she’s hAPPy she’s able to catch a ride with her usual Limo company, “Stretch Out Limos”. DRIVEN with worry in ADvance, that they might have STRETCHed themselves too thin with the success of their new AD campaign, (which would have been FUEL and unusual punishment for her…so to speak), she’s glad she doesn’t need to take a BACK SEAT to other customers; since with their business PICKING UP,  https://tinyurl.com/3aa977vn they’ve definitely been busy…as we hear from her driver, Spencer RACY…The bottom line?…All’s WHEEL that ends WHEEL!

Jeff’s💎GEMS? The company’s name is a keeper…”Stretch Out” indeed! Guaranteed with a name like that they’ll definitely have a LEG UP on the competition…And he’s gone the extra MILE with the 👑 crown embossed on the backrest…It’s a JEWEL…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my friend who spent $600 renting a limousine only to discover that the fee didn’t include a DRIVER…He couldn’t believe that he spent all that money and had nothing to CHAUFFEUR it…🚕🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👍🏻The rip in her “Oscar the GROUCH” doll was pretty deep, so her Mom, PICKING UP on a GUIDE from a Pinterest post, used a ZIPPER to close the tear…KNOCK on wood it worked perfectly…👍🏻

🧵🪡 The old man known to be a GROUCH, heard a KNOCK at the door,
He stood, his favorite sweater…broken ZIPPER…hit the floor…
He used his cane to GUIDE himself and wondered who it was,
He saw his neighbor standing there, saying, “I’m here because…
I noticed that your sweater is in need of some repair,
And know that it’s your favorite, so I thought I would come here…
And mend it for you…that ok”? …The old man answered, “Yup”…
He let her in…and she could see his mood was PICKING UP…🪡🧵

  4. 🚕Today it’s not like years ago,
Where you’d stand in the street hoping so…
    That a taxi would land,
    By your outstretched hand…
While horns all around would blow…🚕

🤷🏻‍♀️Most times the wait got on your nerves,
As you saw taxis cut in and swerve….
    But they just wouldn’t stop,
    Your night ‘bout to flop….
    As other pickups you’d observe…🤷🏻‍♀️

📲But today we have Apps that can trace,
When your driver will be at your place…
    The convenience top-notch,
And your night you won’t botch…
It’s so easy to cut to the chase….📲

👍🏻So our Taylor is riding in style,
And she greets her driver with a smile….
    She’s so happy to find,
    A driver refined…
    Instead of one slightly hostile…👍🏻

⬆️ And she’s comfortably off now to dine,
    Have a good meal…enjoy some fine wine…
    And the money well spent,
    By the company’s parent?
Has guaranteed business will climb! ⬆️

  5. What a great way to cap the week of Saturday ! Wow ! I got all the anagrams with no problems at all ! The jumble fell right into place with PICKING UP line ! Very nice to make up for the last two jumbles that I had trouble with ! Today’s jumble was nice , fun and entertaining ! And Angela , one of my favorite TV shows was Taxi and their theme song fit perfect ! What a great cap on the week Saturday !!!!!

  6. The word knock has an extra k circled that is misleading because you only need one k

    • No…it doesn’t. The circles in the word Knock call for an N and a K, not two K’s…🚕🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Marsha and I missed an easy one….kind of knew it was an ING word followed by UP, so unscrambled the anagrams to find the solution. Easy anagrams. And we both chuckled at the CHAUFFER pun. Speaking of TAXI, saw a little blurb on my phone showing 10 Jim Ignatowski’s funniest moments…and I really liked the one whereby he substituted for the entertainment at some kind of posh home concert !!! Ha Ha. Terry

    • Tk you, Terry. As for Christopher Lloyd, he played his character to perfection. It was definitely an amazing ensemble cast…Terry…did you see my reply to you about Andy Williams yesterday? 🚕🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Whew I’m back with a successful jumble day, with a quick solve of the anagrams and an even quicker obvious blind solve of the cartoon! A Happy Saturday to one and all. Chuck,

  9. Good morning. Another easy jumble on both parts. Forgot about trying for the blind solve and put the letters down and wishing the minute the answer was evident. I loved Taxi and enjoyed the entrance song but didn’t connect with your song choice. Maybe it was a smaller group or it’s just been too long since I heard it. Thanks Angela for the extra jumble. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. You’re welcome. And thank you…But I’m not following what you mean by “connecting” and a “smaller group” 🚕🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Nice and easy solve of the anagrams and cartoon answer this morning. Happy Saturday all! Betty
