Good Morning, Everyone…✍🏻WHERE THERE’S A WILL…THERE’S A RELATIVE✍🏻
🎶 And she’s still a MYSTERY to me, I thought I’d grow up gracefully..l’d understand my woman thoroughly…But the more I see (but the more I see)…The more I see there is to see…🎶 ..”She is Still A Mystery” – The Lovin’ Spoonful 1967 https://tinyurl.com/3xzcbc7b
✍🏻 One night there was an OUTAGE, the lights came all UNDONE,
I sat with Christie’s novel…that I’d already begun..,
Her way with words, her SYNTAX…to me always premier…
(Oh, I really needed PRIMER there…a typo, yes I fear)…
Her writing did EMBODY the sense of fright for sure,
And there I was in darkness…def not my choice du jour…
The book…”Ten Little Indians”…and if you know her history?
Too scared was I to FINISH…it was def AN “HEIR” OF MYSTERY! ✍🏻
Agatha Christie… https://tinyurl.com/5ahrkxd8 …the world-renowned author and playwright, had only one child, her daughter, Rosalind Hicks. https://tinyurl.com/63et3n85 …And today, by David’s WILL, it’s 1976 and we’re HEIR to welcome Rosalind into the Jumble STORY…
Ms Christie’s oeuvre had just the RIGHT blend of fright and MYSTERY. They went hand-in-hand in intricately woven tales of the who-done-it and why…But I don’t think today’s puzzle will be too much of a MYSTERY…or a fright, for that matter…if one just follows the CLUES…There’s really not much to POIROT-ver…Although one of the Early Birds, Sy, surprisingly had a bit of trouble coming up with the SOLVE…and was upset. But I told him…”Don’t be “SAD, CY…PRESS” on”…and he did manage to get out of “THE HOLLOW” he was in….Anyway, let’s raise the “CURTAIN” HEIR…and get started…
The PLOT of our puzzle today is an easy one….Our question gives us the word “inheritance” = HEIR. And Rosalind’s dialogue, in answer to what she’ll do with the wealth she’ll receive from her late MYSTERY-writing Mother, READS…”I’d rather not say” = She has AN AIR OF MYSTERY about her. Put that together with the quotation marks, telling us that there’s a PLAY-on-words…and voila! The result becomes…AN “HEIR” OF MYSTERYhttps://tinyurl.com/2cs8ad5b …And that’s all she WROTE…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…
Oh…Jeff’s Gems? The newspaper on the lawyer’s desk READS, “The Daily Stuff”…”That’s All She Wrote”. And I’m gonna put my “CARDS ON THE TABLE” HEIR, I’m not sure if it PLAYS any significant PART aside from the fact that Ms Christie was a writer…And it’s “The Daily Stuff” especially that is a bit of a MYSTERY to me. But TBT, ever since we turned “THE CLOCKS”, I’ve been exhausted…and I’m really not up to go scouring through the PAGES of data to SOLVE it…Instead I think I’ll just sit here with my BELGIAN waffles and my “BLACK COFFEE” and leave the SLEUTHing alone this time…I’m just not up to READING…✍🏻🙋🏻♀️

📘The PRIMER failed to EMBODY exactly what the OUTAGE had UNDONE…maybe it was the SYNTAX that gave it AN AIR OF MYSTERY…but whatever the reason, she just didn’t bother to FINISH reading it…📘
🤷🏻♀️The PRIMER seemed to look UNDONE, it had a streaky FINISH,
EMBODY the look going for?…No…in fact it did diminish…
Maybe the SYNTAX threw her off, maybe she read it wrong…
The OUTAGE didn’t help the cause…was too dark for too long
The color’s looking faded…and the texture?…Kind of blistery…
She thinks she bought the wrong coat…and it paints AN AIR OF MYSTERY…🤷🏻♀️
Guess I’m just a kid at heart and got a quick solve of the Kids Jumble, thanks for posting it. Chuck!

Yes, Angela…the clues were there for the taking….and I got an elusive Sunday Blind Solve. Had to back in SYNTAX as that was too tricky to unscramble. Thanks for including the Sunday Jr. Jumble…will pass on to a couple of grandkids. As the weekend draws to a close, enjoy your day resting up. Getting used to DST will, of course, take some time !! I had the anagrams solved but thought the cartoon was a rite of history rather than an heir of mystery, so was completely stumped. Not a good Happy St Patrick’s day start! Chuck.

Agatha Christie was always quite clear
Readers, you have nothing to fear
My work is all fiction
‘Though for some, it’s addiction
And my books are read year after year!
Her daughter, it seems was obscure
A bit waffling, not really sure
What she’d do with mom’s loot?
She was close to being mute
But she’d certainly keep it secure!
Having a challenge with different font features today. Will stick to basic in future!

Love the limericks today!! 🍀

Good morning. I had to look up syntax and even though I had Heir for the second word I gave up. Oh well, Monday starts anew. Until tomorrow take care.

Angels, please add “with” in front of “mom’s loot” I see I missed it.
