He’s amassed quite the following, he’ll be real tough to SQUISH,
And Jack’s now left to COUNT his coins…so he can’t help but wish
That he had Fruit Guy’s savvy….that he too had the clout…
That’s making competition tough…this new guy does STAND OUT…🍎
Definitely a sign of the LIMES…Let’s face it, Folks…ORANGE we all well aware of how much Social Media has been a boom to business? The small Mom & Pop staples of old just can’t comPEAR in today’s market…and it’s gotten extremely hard for them to survive…And for the ELDERs?..BERRY hard to PLANTAIN a living…Where once it was just a matter of comPEARing APPLES to ORANGES…today it’s totally BANANAS…And here we have a LIME example…
So…Jack and the APPLE of his eye, Jill, (I’ve chosen to PEAR them up)…manning a STAND OUTside of the city limits, on ALOT…Engaged for a few years now, Jack & Jill have been trying to save enough money to have a wedding at a PLUM http://tinyurl.com/mr3nwcdj (see #4) venue…But now, since the Fruit Guy has opened up his STAND, things have turned SOUR…And they CANTALOUPE because they promised their families that they’d not do so…and besides, they aPEACHiate them all too much…and they’re GRAPEful for all the help they’ve gotten from them…so eloping just doesn’t hold any apPEEL …AnyWEIGH…are they JELLY, http://tinyurl.com/3wd97h7t as the kids say today? UnderSTANDably yes…a whole BUNCH…and unfortunately they now find themselves in a real JAM…
So…Where do we STAND with today’s solve? Hopefully not OUT in the cold…Because between our dialogue…”We’re big fans”…and “LOOK at him”, plus the Fruit Guy’s STAND itself, with its triple cherries, reminiscent of a sLOT machine, it’s pretty easy to FIGure this one OUT…The Fruit Guy wanted to…STAND OUT … http://tinyurl.com/37anw66k …And BRAVO…CADO for another great solve!
As for Jeff’s Gem? If you look closely at the upper right corner of the Fruit Guy’s stand, you’ll see Facebook’s logo. Between that and his greeting, “Hi Fruities”, as he’s on his phone, obviously going live, it STANDs to SEASON that the Fruit Guy may be an actual person. Yet, since I don’t follow many people on Facebook, and I’m not familiar with him, I can’t take a STAND. …But if anyone out there does make the connection, please LETTUCE know…

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend Ki ( pronounced as KEY, short for KeySTONE), who bought a farm and started a fruit and vegetable business. In the beginning, he just couldn’t get JUICEd to the long hours and the PEAR pressure, but he FIGured he’d get up to SEED in no THYME…Only things just never seemed to GEL…So one day we all got together and elected our friend APPLE to tell him that in a MELON years we didn’t think he was well-FRUITED for this LIME of work. She said, “KI, WI don’t think this is for you”…And luckily, it turned out to be a very PRODUCTive and FRUITful discussion…Ki said…”Ok. FINE,APPLE, OLIVE you guys, so I know you’d never PEAR me wrong…I guess it’s time I SQUEEZE the day and just throw in the TROWEL”…And the ZEST is history…🍎🙋🏻♀️

It’s taco-Tuesday and I’m taking a taxi to go get some tacos ! The anagrams were all there except YACHT ! Very tough word to figure out ! It sailed right by me ! The rest were good ! The jumble was a little tricky with only 8 letters , but I tried different words , and then I pulled OUT , and STAND was left ! Angela your dissection of the jumble cartoon is impressive ! It got my attention ! This was a very fun jumble ! David and Jeff really put it together nicely ! Everyone have some tacos and a great day !!!!

I pondered just a minute or two before the blind solve struck, but I was lucky. Confirmed the answer with all anagrams speedily solved. I must admit, Angela, your Jumble commentary was very prolific this morning…you weaved a lot of fruits into the mix !!
