Determined to rewrite the SCRIPT…the Vaders they would beat…
The false hope that they’d given them…that skill is what they lack?
Will now be proven bogus…as we see them STRIKING BACK!🎳
So…Today we get the BALL ROLLING with a WAR between the two STAR teams of the “Jumble Bowling League”. No…it doesn’t say that anywhere, but c’mon, let’s be honest, it’s a SPARE day in June when we don’t see some kind of reference to the Jumble franchise, right? And I must admit I’m a little surprised that Jeff didn’t STRIKE here while the iron was hot….Oh, wait…maybe I should save that one for a golf puzzle…Just where is my FRAME of mind today?
Anyway…Time to PIN this one down…As we can see, the ”Millennium Falcons” after losing the first game to the “Darth Vaders”, are determined not to STRIKE out again…and are going for the SPLIT decision…And if the Vaders thought they’d BADGER the Falcons, labelling them a bunch of TURKEYS, who’d go down without a fight, it’s obvious now they were GUTTERly wrong…Because from what we can see? Jeff’s Gems? The Millennium Falcon image on our bowler’s shirt is definitely STRIKING…and if you look closely, you can see a tiny image of Darth Vader on the sleeve of that Vader player with the PINcredulous look on his face. And in lane #3, a sole pin remains standing…I was thinking to elaborate on it, but on this one I think I’ll stay so quiet you can hear a PIN DROP….And lastly, the “wrong direction” comment? STRIKING a chord for the Mandalorian? IDK…That one’s still UP IN THE AIR…

welcome thirsty-Thursday ! I had a strike on this one ! The anagrams BEGAN with the right SCRIPT ! And I wore my KHAKI shirt ! And today , I did not feel like a ROOKIE ! Now the jumble came right down the lane ! And STRIKING BACK won ! This one quenched my thirst ! Very descriptive of the cartoon Angela and funny and punny bowling joke ! And I have to say , that before I saw the jumble to post this comment , I watched an Andy Griffith show , season 8 and episode 2 , about Howard Sprague joining the Mayberry bowling team , and bowled a perfect game 8 strike outs in a row ! And how ironic is that for me to see this jumble about bowling too ! It was so cool ! Everyone have a good thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!!!

I took a quick look at the Jumble, saw it was about bowling, saw the giant X on the score screen…then didn’t read the dialogue. Therefore, figured first word was STRIKING, but didn’t guess the second word because of lack of context/information about the puzzle. Anyway, unscrambled anagrams for a quick finish.
