  1. Happy Tuesday everyone! There weren’t any new clue words to tell you about this morning. All of the anagrams just happened to be though. PNDUIA is the only one that wasn’t immediately visible to me. I thought I was in the clear after noticing the UP- prefix, but it ended up being a wild goose chase. I also thought PYTIS was a fine scramble for a five-letter word. PNDUIA challenged me just a bit more though, so it’ll be my pick for today’s hardest anagram.

The fashion biz has always seemed a little strange to me. A lot of the dresses we see paraded down the runway come across as being more works of art rather than functional items of clothing that can be worn on the daily. But I get it. It’s art. And to convince us that these fashions are the newst craze, models need to have boatloads of self-confidence, as well as a certain amount of poise and grace. The model in today’s shoot definitely has all three. Jeff has drawn her in such a way that she exudes those attributes just by the way she’s standing.

There were plenty of great details in today’s panel for those who enjoy high-fashion! Both of the dresses in the panel were rather unique, but definitely not over-the-top in terms of design. I noticed some hoop earrings on the model as well as a couple of bracelets on each wrist. My favorite detail ended up being the light stands. I particularly enjoyed how Jeff added action lines around them to indicate they were in use.

The final solve was an anagram consisting of eight letters. Three of them were vowels and five were consonants. I didn’t have a clue what the answer was until I wrote out the letters. Once I did, the answer just popped out at me. I always enjoy when that happens. Have a terrific Tuesday everyone, and just keep NBJGMUIL!

The anagrams were not bad, the cartoon solution took a while but I got it.
IM always happy when Mike is commenting.
    .

    • I agree, Mig. The puzzle was just the right amount of challenge for a Tuesday. And thank you for the saying that. It was very kind of you. 🙂

  4. Good Morning, Everyone. I hope this finds you well..

🥃 Despite the drinking making him TIPSY, the guest still struck an IMPOSING figure, and the clerk worried that confronting him now about the UNPAID bill MIGHT get him tossed on his NOGGIN…🥃

🤷🏻‍♂️ The laughing kids grew TIPSY, the word NOGGIN triggered it,
And he, the UNPAID volunteer wished they’d all stop and sit
No matter what he says to them…whatever he’s proposing
These kids won’t pay attention…Poor guy..he’s just not IMPOSING! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. A Monday easy Jumble on a Tuesday. The anagrams were a quick solve, even tipsy, that seemed strange at first, and then the 1 word cartoon cartoon was also a quick,if not an immediate solve.

  6. 💕 Friendship is like a tree. It doesn’t really matter how tall it is, what matters is how deep the roots are. Today is NATIONAL BEST FRIENDS DAY…Enjoy! 👭🏻

  7. Pretty standard day at Jumble University….needed anagrams to figure out cartoon puzzle. Anagrams easy, but must admit to spending about a minute trying to unscramble TIPSY..

    • I feel ya, Terry! I knew it most likely ended in Y, but I just couldn’t see it for some reason. 🙂

  8. So easy and quick to solve today despite a 99°F with the humidity factor at 10 am. Tried to have my breakfast on my deck but no air to breathe! The AC is the saviour! How spoiled I am!
    Bless you all!
    Christian

    • The heat and humidity is terrible here in NH too, Christian. I kept the kids home from school today because of it. Being in classrooms with masks on and no ac would have been torture!

  9. Easy puzzle this morning. Everything fell nicely into place. Wishing all of you a good Tuesday.

💃🏻 Modeling can be cut throat, the competition stiff,
Any many times there’s jealousy, that MIGHT lead to a tiff…
Who knows if someone’s TIPSY, these girls, they hardly eat,
And self-doubt sometimes surely flares…as so many compete…
A new girl brought into the fold, knows she won’t go UNPAID,
    She’s hot, she’s fresh, her NOGGIN’s straight…she knows she’s got it made…
The girl we see who’ll follow her? Best not her doubt exposing…
Just walk the walk, don’t think about this new girl so IMPOSING! 💃🏻

  11. Hi all – TIPSY took a little extra time, looking like TYPIST at first. The UN trick showed UNPAID quickly, and after ditching the ING suffix, it was just a matter of getting the G’s and N’s in the right place for NOGGIN. I did need the letters for the answer though, and here the ING was a big help in seeing the pun on POSE.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Use your NOGGIN and realize that even if you’re a bartender, if you show up for work TIPSY you MIGHT get sent home UNPAID no matter how IMPOSING your skills are.”

  12. Unpaid was difficult for me, but once I had all of the letters, the answer was very easy. I always enjoy the Jumble as it is often very clever.

    • Welcome Mark! Yes, UNPAID did take some extra time to work through this morning. I think the placement of the U at the rear of the anagram was what made it so difficult. Thanks for letting us know. 🙂
