Good Morning, Everyone…I hope you’re all well…

…And what I wouldn’t have PAID to have been in that audience…
💃🏻 🕺🏻One must admit that Gere looked good, although not the first pick,
The role turned down by Chris Reeve…but Gere definitely made it click
The IRONY goes further…Richard turned down playing Ed…
Who knew what MIGHT have happened had not Julia turned his head…
The film a great success…a love way MADDER than we’d seen,
The bottom line it’s still a hit…thanks to Gere on the screen…
The SPLASH it made in Hollywood, no one could disagree…
And Gere worth every penny of what Disney PAID HANDSOMELY 💃🏻🕺🏻
Another easy one, just as Richard Gere was easy on the eyes in “Pretty Woman”. https://tinyurl.com/y9m7dpso …Not to mention Julia. I think she appeared her most beautiful as Vivian. That scene where we first see her in that red gown? She even took my breath away…and trust me, I definitely don’t lean that way! They made a beautiful couple, and the movie’s still one of my favorites…
Here’s hoping Everyones day is filled with pretty things…Be well and stay safe. 💃🏻🕺🏻🙋🏻♀️
📰 He grew MADDER and madder as he read the article, and the IRONY was that he MIGHT have made the same SPLASH of a headline if he had been PAID HANDSOMELY…📰
🎨 The SPLASH of color on the wall, it showed up in the light,
But nothing he tried cleaned it off…he tried with all his MIGHT…
And getting so much MADDER, the IRONY was there,
Because his wife had warned him…only he chose not to hear…
The rubbing all proved futile, for it spread sure and slowly…
This clean up really cost him…and he def PAID HANDSOMELY! 🎨
Good morning. The words were a breeze
but struck out on the cartoon answer. I finally got it but I used the app to solve it. Since it only scrabbles 12 letters I had to keep leaving out 2 letters until I got the right 10 letter word that I thought was correct. The leftovers gave me the first word. If this was a trigonometry test they let you use the calculators so I’ll give myself a passing grade. Angela, loved your post and song choice. He is one of my favorite singers. 💕 the range he can achieve. The movie itself was an enjoyable one. Her sidekick peaked my interest. Took some time to finally realize what movie I saw her in before. Right now I have a senior moment and can’t think of the name but she stars opposite Tom Selleck where he’s in Australia hiring out as a sharpshooter. It’s a western flick which I also enjoy. Enough of rambling on. Until tomorrow stay well.
Good Morning, Brooklyn. The key to the solve was right there in the dialogue. The woman saying how attractive he is = HANDSOME, and the man saying he makes Big Bucks = PAID. You always have to concentrate on the dialogue…As for Trigonometry? Let’s not get crazy now! 😱 And thanks for the Shout Out. I agree, Roy Orbison was a great talent. And this clip is amazing. The talent on that stage that night is mind-boggling…I’m glad you enjoyed it. The woman you’re trying to name, who played Vivians friend Kit, is Laura San Giacomo. https://tinyurl.com/yb99g5a4 And you’re right, she starred with Tom Selleck in “Quigley Down Under”. https://tinyurl.com/ojk66rr. Among other things, she also played Maya Gallo on the TV show “Just Shoot Me” https://tinyurl.com/y738yzn4 with George Segal for a few years back in the late 90’s…I really liked that show. So, there you go. I gave you enough reading material here to keep you busy all morning! 😉 Be well, Paul. Stay safe.💃🏻🕺🏻🤦🏻♀️
Lol. Thank you for all the info you gave me Angela. It will keep me busy for awhile. I’ll have to check out “Just shoot me” never saw it. Take care.
You’re very welcome, Bud…Anytime! And I hope you can get to see “Just Shoot Me” somewhere. It was a good show…(Although I’ve had a crush on George Segal for years…so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much)! 🤷🏻♀️Enjoy the articles, Paul! 💃🏻🕺🏻🙋🏻♀️
Anagrams were a surprising snap for a Thursday,it is Thursday isn’t it?As far as the final solution, handsome was a given for at least part of the answer.Stay well and virus free.
Yep, it’s Thursday, Professor. I double checked the calendar! 😉Good Morning. It’s funny having you say that Handsome was a given…because it being so, 3 of my friends this morning pulled it out of the mix right away too…But not picking up on the suffix, LY, they then went with PLAY from the remaining letters…the reasoning being that he “played” a part in the movie. With that stuck in their heads though, they hit a roadblock, because they still had I and D to contend with…A method to their madness…but obviously no cigar! And yes, I agree the words were easy, breezy. Wishing you well too, Prof. And stay safe…💃🏻🕺🏻🙋🏻♀️
Hi all – I had to jumble a few times even with the double letter trick to get MADDER. No idea about the answer, but saw it as soon as I wrote down the letters with Y at the end, and then the dialog made perfect sense.
That’s some link Angela. I hadn’t heard of the concert before; loved seeing Bruce and Jackson Browne sharing a mike. Yes, they would have PAID HANDSOMELY for that backup band.
Good wishes to everyone.
“If he weren’t so self-centered, he MIGHT appreciate the IRONY of the fact that the SPLASH he got at the pool made him MADDER than the ones he’d been giving to others with his belly flops.”
👍🏻💃🏻🙋🏻♀️
I would replace two of them with Gordon Lightfoot and James Taylor.
I’ll see your two…and raise you an Eric Clapton…Be well ,Clay. Stay safe. 🎸🙋🏻♀️
