  1. Good Morning, Everyone. I hope you’re all well…🏚 🙋🏻‍♀️

🎶Trailers for sale or RENT, rooms to let, fifty cents…No phone, no pool, no pets, I ain’t got no cigarettes…Ah, but, two hours of pushin’ broom buys an eight by twelve four-bit room…I’m a man of means by no means, king of the ROAD…🎶 “King of the Road’ – Roger Miller 1965 https://tinyurl.com/km9aeo3

🏠 When seeing the word “bargain” one should usually walk on eggs,
You might get lucky once or twice…but mostly it’s the dregs…
Bargain’s don’t come in black-and-white, no PANDA colors here,
You need to know just how to TWARTH…the buyer must beware…
Today we see this realtor, he’ll REUSE his spiel once more
He’s trying to unload this house…but the Highway that’s next door?
There’s nothing he can do or say to SOOTHE them to relent…
This couple needs no further look, they found their DETER-RENT🏠

Wishing you all a day of peace…and quiet…Be well, stay safe…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🐼In an effort to SOOTHE the angry PANDA, he considered using a black-and-white cookie as a DETERRENT, but he had to TWARTH that plan quickly…and went in search of some bamboo to REUSE instead…🐼

😴💤 They compared her to a PANDA, for she never slept too well,
An hour or two…next thing you know…the sleep is shot to hell
Where music proved to SOOTHE her, it didn’t work at night,
Despite her tries to TWARTH the ever present nocturnal plight…
She purchased many sleep aids, she’d try them, then REUSE,
She even tried some scotch and wine..but nope, no-go the booze…
So now she’s thinking, maybe…it’s his snoring’s got her bent?
And wondering if separate rooms could prove the DETERRENT 😴 💤

  3. Good morning. My choice for hardest word was Thwart. After awhile I had the right idea for the answer but spelled it wrong. I was so happy I came up with it but failed to double check my spelling and as always I check to make sure I have them right and realized I didn’t. “What did he say”.You get the idea. The cartoon answer took some time but I came up with the answer. Tried my darn’est to change the answer because I really thought there had to be a better one. Oh well, as the song goes, you can’t please everyone. Speaking of songs, loved your song choice Angelia. Steve, thanks for the shout out. Had no idea what you meant so I texted your remark to one of my sons and he clued me in. I did notice my name in the letters that had to be jumbled but it flew right over my head. Until tomorrow stay well.

  4. *** This was just posted on Facebook…***🙋🏻‍♀️

So yesterday’s Jumble featured a couple of real people. One was the oldest living person ever, Jeanne Calment. Jeanne lived to 122 years and 164 days! The other person in the Jumble was Charles Miller. Charles, who just turned 11 on Monday, is an historian of Supercentenarians. If you would like to know more about how many people on the planet are over 110 years old, and about their lives, “Like” his page @ https://www.facebook.com/Charles-Millers-Supercentenarians-Page-101967131442580/ Way to go Charles! Thanks for being part of the Jumble world! NEYOJ!

    • Hi Clay. How’re you doing? That is funny, since they’re definitely going to “detour”, and it does relate to highway driving, but with deterrent being a “real” word, it sort of stands to reason that it’s a better fit. But 👏🏻 to your wit at work! Be well, Clay, stay safe. 🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Hi all – I wondered about REUSE as a word without a hyphen, but went with it since I couldn’t see anything else. Got SOOTHE quickly with the double letter trick, and then got the answer from the implied RENT.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Nothing would THWART the PANDA in his mission to REUSE the koala’s eucalyptus-leaf food by rolling in the leftover branches to let the oil SOOTHE his itches.”

      • That second link (“To hyphenate or not to hyphenate”) is too interesting; you could get lost in there!

        • Yep, it’s definitely a fun read, isn’t it?! 😂 💤💤! I had it on tap because of the kids. We refer to it every once in a while. I try really hard to avoid the…”It’s wrong? But my Aunt Angela said it was right”…and the inevitable aftermath!! 😉 🤦🏻‍♀️ TBT, I‘ve been surprised by a few of them myself…🤷🏻‍♀️

  6. I too pondered at reuse but other than that figured it all out without difficulty. Love that Roger Miller song, Angela. He had a great voice. Stay well fellow Jumblers.

  7. Hi Everyone –
Soothe had me stumped until I got the answer. Rent was the key for me.
Will catch up later on posts.

  8. Reuse looked odd but it was the right word in the end.Rent led the way to a quick final cartoon puzzle solution.
