  1. Good Morning, Everyone…💻 FOOD FOR THOUGHT💻

🎶 Cheeseburger in paradise…Heaven on earth with an onion slice…Not too particular not too precise…I’m just a cheeseburger in paradise…🎶…”Cheeseburger In Paradise” – Jimmy Buffett 1978  https://tinyurl.com/3pxrfpdr

💻 A TUXEDO you won’t see him wearing…the man remains very low key,
He once dreamed of being a GOALIE, but that dream was not meant to be…
His love of food changed his direction…he was FUSSY about all his meals,
(And JETTY…no, not on the menu…I tried but it comes up no deal)…
Our guy spends his time writing reviews…about which cafes are the best…
And he keeps them short…so in his words? They’re always EASY TO DIGEST…💻

I guess he doesn’t want to EAT up too much of people’s time…

So…Today…The office of the local food critic, SCOOP Dog, whose job it is to spills the TEA on the local EATeries. And he’s apPOACHED by a co-worker, Bob HOPE, who’s looking to find a LUNCHmate…And Scoop, known to not MINCE words, is quick to reply that he definitely has time for a bite, since he keeps his reviews SHORT and SWEET…(=DIGEST)…thereby allowing him time to MEAL away whenever he’d like…MEN,U can’t keep Snoop down, he’s always WRITE there when it comes to food…And with so much free time, he RIBS Bob about his keeping his reviews…EASY TO DIGEST,  https://tinyurl.com/mw7vu5yh with his comment about ‘no one having the STOMACH for a FULL critique’…And as for us, this puzzle was so EASY, breezy, it didn’t CONSUME any of our time either…

Jeff’s💎Gems?…That PineAPPLE logo on Scoop’s laptop, his Stanley cup, and of COURSE, the Menu on his desk. There’s a picture of a Chef in one corner, and a J in the other, telling us it’s from the Jumble Restaurant…and taking a BITE out of it, I think I can make out Starters, Seafood and Entrees…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe..And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who worked as a food critic for awhile, in an effort to earn some extra DOUGH, since the other part-THYME job he had was paying PEANUTS, and he felt they were just throwing him CRUMBS… But being who he is, he was a tad too SAUCY with his words, and got WHEY too critical with his reviews…And of course, thinking he’s such a big DILL, he thought whatever he did was WELL-DONE, and that the paper’s publisher was NUTS…But after a SHARP warning for not referencing his SAUCES, the paper put their cards on the TABLE, he was put on probation, and told that the STEAKS were too high for him to keep getting into JAMS, and that he really KNEADed to stop HAMming it up, and to do it in a CURRY…But again, being who he is, just for the HALIBUT, he kept MILKing it…Needless to say, the publisher knew something FISHy was going on, and finally HAD HIS FILL…and gave him a PIZZA his mind, telling him in no uncertain terms that he could QUICHE the job goodbye. ..and he was CANNED…So the YOLK was on him…And of COURSE, my friend ended up RAISIN the roof. But as far as we were concerned it was just a classic case of “another one BITES the CRUST”…and we had no PITA for him. I mean, LETTUCE be honest here, he’s NACHO average individual…and with him getting into one PICKLE after another, he’s BEAN BACON us crazy for WHEY too long…and we’re at the point where we can’t even BRIE-lieve a single thing that comes out of his mouth. And it’s become impossible to ROMAINE calm…TACO ‘bout being disgusted…we’re at our BITS end…and it’s THYME to call it a WRAP…We doubt he’ll ever act any FETA, and we SHRIMPly don’t WONTON hear anymore…So right now, we’re just WHISKing he doesn’t TURNIP for awhile…Let’s face it, we’re all for giving PEAS a chance, but at this THYME, there’s MUFFIN he can do to BUTTER us up…Bottom line…he’s just an imPASTA when it comes to true friendship…and that’s not RICE at all…Hopefully, the next THYME we MEAT, he’ll be CLOVER himself… But I’m thinking GOUDA luck with that…I’m definitely not WEIGHTing around to CAESAR day…💻🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…The puzzle of May 20th, 2010…”She followed the diet book because it was”…EASY TO “DIGEST”…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️The fact that the FUSSY GOALIE showed up at the JETTY dressed in a TUXEDO wasn’t EASY TO DIGEST…🤷🏻‍♂️

👏🏻👏🏻To celebrate the GOALIE, a party was on tap,
His team the JETTY Jammers had once held a bad rap…
But he was very FUSSY…and made sure to turn things ‘round,
And now they regained glory…their fan base most profound…
Dress code will be TUXEDO…it will be quite the fest…
The Jammers have earned numbers def EASY TO DIGEST…👏🏻👏🏻

  4. 💻 While writing can be so much fun,
There are times when it’s just one and done…
    You elaborate not,
    Never feel on the spot…
    And you’ve finished soon as you’ve begun…💻

🤷🏻‍♂️Writing food reviews easy as pie,
(Yes, the idiom here does apply)…
Does our Scoop here by name,
    Always do as he claims…
And keep his reviews cut and dry?…🤷🏻‍♂️

🍴 From the looks of him, one thing seems true,
Doesn’t look that he bids food adieu…
    There’s a definite paunch,
    Guess he’s surely quite staunch…
When it comes to the meals he goes through…🍴

🤷🏻‍♂️Yes, he can blame it on his career,
The figure that we’re seeing here…
He gets paid just to eat,
    And fill half a sheet…
And a day’s work he than can declare…🤷🏻‍♂️

👍🏻🍷More power to him, I suppose,
The man who is never verbose…
He makes things short and sweet,
    Reviews…not the eats…
Yes, for Scoop? It’s a great job he chose…🍷👍🏻

  6. let’s get some tacos ! This was a great Tuesday ! All the anagrams were there and your description of the puzzle was EASY TO DIGEST ! Loved your song choice snd I can’t believe all of your word puns on your friend ! Very impressive ! , Angela ! And one fit today’s jumble , but I won’t Taco about it ! Great Tuesday and let’s have a small hump Wednesday tomorrow !!!!!

  7. Today’s puzzle almost went south on me, after I struggled with GOALIE. That settled, looked at all the letters for a short eternity, then finally took a guess with EASY TO, and that took me over the top. WHEW !! Kudo’s to another excellent friend story….over the top, for sure. Terry

  8. Good morning. I definitely need more coffee as I could not come up with Goalie or Tuxedo in the anagrams. After getting the correct letters to work with, the cartoon solution came right to me ! Great post today Angela. I’ll have to come back and read it again when I wake up ! 😆

    Thanks, Stan

  9. Good morning. I was able to get the words fairly quick but failed on the cartoon answer. Once you see the answer the head starts shaking from side to side like how did I miss that. The amount of puns in your story had me doing the head shake with amazement. You are the queen of puns for sure. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. The old head shake! 👍🏻Thank you. Take care.💻🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. I saw where a couple of respondents had trouble with the goalie and tuxedo anagrams, but not me, I solved them quickly as well as the cartooon. On another note, my paper has moved the puzzles to the middle of the news section rather than the former sports section adjacent to the comics. I panicked on Saturday until I finally found them in that part of the online paper. Any thoughts on that placement? Chuck.

    • Kudos on the solve, Professor. As for the online paper, mine made changes too…and I’m not happy either. 🤷🏻‍♀️💻🙋🏻‍♀️

    • It’s a bizarre placement, but I guess that they thought that you need some fun in the midst of all the bad news of late.
