    🦦One’s FATHER introduced them, AHEAD of things back then,
    There was something that just told him they’d surely be fast friends…
    But one then took a POWDER, it seemed that he just QUILT,
    (OH…sorry for the typo…it’s quit I meant…with guilt)
    But our two otters here today are so far from their start…
    Seems time and tide have caused them to slowly DRIFT APART…🦦

    Always one thing or the OTTER, right? 🤷🏻‍♀️

What came between them, we just don’t know… But from our dialogue, and the cartoon showing them DRIFTING on the water, it’s obvious that they began to SEA OTTER people…Sad, really. I suppose there’s STOAT many reasons for the demise of their close friendship, but that may be a puzzle for an OTTER day. Right now, all we can SEA is that they’ve been APART, and this chance meeting doesn’t seem to have mended any fences. But one can’t help but wonder if they OTTER know better. A good friend is like no OTTER, and there really OTTER be a law against them being allowed to DRIFT APART…https://tinyurl.com/39yxwkc6 …But as for our solve? We FLOATED right through this easy, breezy one in no TIDE at all…

    Jeff’s💎Gems? The looks on their faces. It seems like the one at left looks forlorn, while the OTTER looks more animated. I guess it’s beCLAWS the one at left probably didn’t opt for ending the friendship…it abSTOATlutely must be the OTTER one. And of course, the OTTER gem is the clincher…Look closely and you’ll SEA the Signature Sinking Sailboat way off in the distance…DRIFTING AWAY…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who became obsessed with otters, and wanted to get one. We all told him that that wasn’t possible, since they’re not suitable to be kept as pets. But he swore he could do it, with some sort of wizardry. To here him tell it, he was on the lookout for Harry POTTER…And this is why with his STREAM of consciousness, he’s destined to hit ROCK BOTTOM one of these days…🦦🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👭🏻After they completed the POWDER blue QUILT, the FATHER told his two daughters that a good way to never DRIFT APART would be to stay AHEAD of things in life…like continuing to share the same hobbies…👭🏻

    ❤️ The young girl had an old QUILT that her FATHER had passed down,
    She freshened it with POWDER, to keep the shade of brown
    So far she felt AHEAD with it…it was dear to her heart…
    And the memory of Dad and it…must never DRIFT APART…❤️

  6. I’m getting me some tacos to celebrate today’s anagrams and jumble keeping it going starting from yesterday ! I got all the anagrams and the jumble was right there with just two words the first one DRIFT came right out ! And aWAY was right there left ! And your song , Angela is one of my favorite and was perfect for yjis jumble ! This week is going great and I can’t wait to see tomorrow’s with no hump to get over ! Great week and great post !!!!

      Because of mundane day to day..,
      But work can be done,

  11. Sometimes you just have to accept the inevitable, that not all friendships will or can endure, especially if people move. I recently came upon the e-mail address online of a friend of quite a few years ago. I had moved, she had always stayed at the same address. I thought she would be delighted to hear from me as we had been partners in a tennis league for several years. When I suggested we meet, I could see that she really had little recollection of me. She was to contact me for second get together but never did. I just had to accept that it was not a friendship for the ages, but great at the time.

    • It is especially difficult to maintain friendships if what you had in common no longer exists. Sad, but a fact of life.
