They SHYLY asked the clerk…but he made them feel shades of guilt…
A WEASEL of a man for sure, so they decide to PICKET,
Faced with a situation that’s surely a sticky wicket
Hating to make a fuss of things..but being so displeased…
They went ahead and picketed …and it went off WITH EASE…🤷🏻♀️
I couldn’t remember if weasel was spelled with an ‘el or an ‘le’. The other anagrams were easy.

Easy as Monday morning. Is that a thing or just Sunday morning? Anyway, easy is nice. The Weasle Shyly snuck past the Picket fence and slipped under the warm Quilt with E’s. I had to get out from under my warm quilt today into the frozen tundra of the Great Plains. Brutal cold here. I’ve gotta find a place to go when I retire. Angela, your song choice is what I use to remind myself to swing easy on the golf course where I won’t be for some time to come.
Although this is an easy Monday morning one, the phrase is Easy as “Sunday” Morning…Story goes that when Lionel Richie wrote the song, it referred to a man not willing to give in to the depression brought on by the breakup of a relationship…Instead he’s “Easy like Sunday morning”…his comparison to what a small Southern town like his, Tuskegee, Alabama was like…after “dying at 11:30 on a Saturday night”…beautiful poetic imagery…’Gotta love Lionel Richie…Have a good one, OO…Stay warm. 🔠🙋🏻♀️

Anagrams came quickly,and I wasn’t sure about the last two 1 letter answers in the cartoon,but after ‘with’ popped into mind,the rest was indeed ‘E’ ‘S’. A good start to the new week and new year,stay safe out there in the bitter,but sunny cold.
