She got past QUILT and WEASEL, and she aced it all so calmly…
Her competition spelt PICKET…so far words all a breeze…

🧶 The woman in the sewing circle crocheted a QUILT with a WEASEL leaning against a PICKET fence…and she SHYLY told the group that she named it “We Sell – WITH EASE”🧶
🤷🏻♀️The guests they all were freezing, needing an extra QUILT,
They SHYLY asked the clerk…but he made them feel shades of guilt…
A WEASEL of a man for sure, so they decide to PICKET,
Faced with a situation that’s surely a sticky wicket
Hating to make a fuss of things..but being so displeased…
They went ahead and picketed …and it went off WITH EASE…🤷🏻♀️
I couldn’t remember if weasel was spelled with an ‘el or an ‘le’. The other anagrams were easy.
The solution was also a snap for me.
IM enjoying the new J year, are you????
Mig, always wondering
Good morning ! The came out nicely with ease ! The jumble came out WITH a different language making it not as E Sy ! But it was fun ! I hope everyone had a great Hollow D A !

The girl, quick on her feet,
Proved she couldn’t be beat…
And Murraya’s the word paved the way! 🔠
Easy as Monday morning. Is that a thing or just Sunday morning? Anyway, easy is nice. The Weasle Shyly snuck past the Picket fence and slipped under the warm Quilt with E’s. I had to get out from under my warm quilt today into the frozen tundra of the Great Plains. Brutal cold here. I’ve gotta find a place to go when I retire. Angela, your song choice is what I use to remind myself to swing easy on the golf course where I won’t be for some time to come.
Although this is an easy Monday morning one, the phrase is Easy as “Sunday” Morning…Story goes that when Lionel Richie wrote the song, it referred to a man not willing to give in to the depression brought on by the breakup of a relationship…Instead he’s “Easy like Sunday morning”…his comparison to what a small Southern town like his, Tuskegee, Alabama was like…after “dying at 11:30 on a Saturday night”…beautiful poetic imagery…’Gotta love Lionel Richie…Have a good one, OO…Stay warm. 🔠🙋🏻♀️
OO..Enjoy. Like Lionel, this one just gets better with age…
Please explain: where would the “E & S” be placed? I got a one word (plural) answer.
Here is how today’s puzzle should appear…🔠🙋🏻♀️
Good morning. Great start for a new week. Another quick solve. Old blue eyes starts us of in a good mood. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Good Morning, Paul…Ol’ Blue Eyes…pictured here while going through that “he must have taken a blow to the head”…mid-life crisis of his. White suit, beads…marrying Mia Farrow…Phew! Thank God he got over it…it wasn’t EASY to endure! 😂 There are no WORDS! Enjoy your day, Paul…Be well and stay safe out there…🔠🙋🏻♀️
When spelling comes with such ease
Then writing’s much more of a breeze
From letters A through Z
Sort them through in your head
The result is one sure way to please!
Anagrams came quickly, and I wasn’t sure about the last two 1 letter answers in the cartoon, but after ‘with’ popped into mind, the rest was indeed ‘E’ ‘S’. A good start to the new week and new year, stay safe out there in the bitter, but sunny cold.
Tks, Prof. Hoping you’re staying safe too…🔠🙋🏻♀️
Easy does it indeed this morning. Happy Monday to all!
Same to you, Betty. 🔠🙋🏻♀️
Forgot to log in this morning…just now looking at a great song that Frank S. crooned way back when. Nice goin’ Angela
Tks, Terry. Hope your day’s gone well…🔠🙋🏻♀️
Thank you, Angela, for yesterday’s reply. Finally hit me “with ease”. Today’s solve also eluded me, though I understand it The anagrams were challenging, got ’em.
