🦟The traveling in swarms…making a sound like a long DRAWL, They do ELICIT groans for sure…it’s like they form a wall… The swarm is sometimes OBLONG…and others circles round… GAUDY in their appearance…tiny but so profound… And outdoor meals are often ruined…they start out tastily… But come to early ends because these flies act “GNAT”-URALLY…🦟
Funny…Just looking at the cartoon alone and I was ready to say GNATS enough…SWAT the heck?…No way I’d sit tHAIR and have those things FLY around my head..
So…Today…A SWARM summer evening…and a backyard…And what started out as a relaxing hamburger dinner outdoors for our couple, SHOOman Capote, and his wife, Ava YARDner…quickly turned into a battle of FLITS… something GNAT so nice…Being attacked by these “tiny biting insects” (=GNATS), definitely put a damper on their little tête-à-tête…as their heads were encircled by the little BUGgers…Burgers and buggers? GNAT a good mix…But as we hear Ava tell Shooman…They’re just doing what comes…”GNAT”-URALLY…https://tinyurl.com/bdzhr8z5 Yes, GNATS https://tinyurl.com/25efc5b8 are a nuisance…but with those tell-tale quotation marks?…We didn’t have a sMIDGEn of trouble getting this easy, breezy solve today…We FLEW right through and WINGED IT…
Jeff’s💎Gems? The spouting whale logo on Shooman’s shirt, and what I figure is a citronella candle atop the table….Sadly, GNAT doing such a good job…

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who swore that one morning while he was milking a COW, a swarm of gnats flew into its ear…and never came out. He thought it odd, but just shook it off and kept milking. After he was done though, he saw that the entire swarm showed up in the milk bucket. And to hear him tell it…”I guess that’s what they mean by in one ear and out the UDDER”…And with all his FLY by night stories, I’m GNAT sure if I believe him…but I have to admit I did enjoy the pun…🦟🙋🏻♀️

great end of the work week Friday ! I got all the anagrams , but ELICIT gave me a little thinking ! The jumble was almost there for me ! NATURAL came right out , but I did GNAT have any clue of that and it bugged me ! It was a very fun one ! I’m just frustrated that I didn’t get through it ! But oh well it’s TGIF ! And Angela , once again your Beatles song was a good one ! And your friend and the puns was funny , there’s no Udder one that could be better ! Have a great Friday !!!!

Good morning. Another feel good day because of the cartoon answer being in quotation marks. It took a little time to get the old brain to kick into gear for two words but once I completed that task and put the letters down and knowing naturally wasn’t the answer it had to be those pesky Gnats for the first part. Minus the S …. The sad part is I was unable to find left over gold stars from the junk drawer from grammar school to give myself. Sorry Angela you know how I feel about the Beatles but if you had their song in the country version I’d listen to it. lol. Until tomorrow take care.
