It’s not like we have to go into a HOLE to do it…we’re solvent…we don’t need to BURROW anything…let’s just CHUCK the old WOODEN table, and GOPHER it”…So…They sunk their TEETH into the idea, and decided that they…”WOODCHUCK” IT…https://tinyurl.com/4bzdw55f …And with a Groundhog being a Woodchuck, and the word obviously KNOT being used in our question, the mention of OAK (=WOOD)…and Phyllis ok with tossing it (=CHUCK)…there’s no need to DIG deep today, Folks…we CHEWED right through this easy, breezy one in no time. And do I think anyone will have trouble with this puzzle?…I WOODEN even entertain the thought…It’s HOGWASH…

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who kept a FRENCH Woodchuck named MaHOGany as a pet, and built it a LITTLE HOUSE in his yard. For some strange reason it developed an affinity for HOG Cabin syrup, wanting it every DAY…and no matter what my friend did, he couldn’t break him of the habit. And the cost to keep him satisfied was driving my friend into the GROUND…Yet, after hearing the same story of the GROUNDHOG’s DAY, OVER and OVER again, we all became BOARD of it all, and told him to CHUCK it…But WOOD you believe he kept telling the story for months?…In fact, he only stopped the next February 2nd, when MaHOGany woke up, saw his French CHÂTEAU, and oddly enough started eating from my friend’s SPRING vegetables planted nearby…And after that, he couldn’t GOPHER syrup anymore…It’s been all SPRING vegetables and HOLE milk ever since…And to hear my friend tell it?…”MaHOGany’s much healthier…Yep…it’s a strict HOLEostic diet now”…And this is why I CHEWS to igGNAW a lot of what my friend says…or trust me…I WOOD definitely go crazy…🦫🙋🏻♀️
🤷🏻♀️As far as they were concerned, if they were to WEIGH the odds, it was obvious they’d need to EJECT the largest item from the DOCKET…lest it OCCUPY too much of their time…and they agreed that they WOODCHUCK IT…🤷🏻♀️
🤷🏻♂️They reviewed the new DOCKET, they’d need to WEIGH it out, If there were things to EJECT, they’d exercise their clout… To let content of drivel just OCCUPY their days, Would do no good for anyone…and cause a mundane maze The time now ripe for reasoning…and so they all shall sit… And someone said, “If up to me? Great mid week , no-hump Wednesday ! I had more difficulty with 2 anagrams than I had with the jumble ! EJECT and DOCKET were not in my pocket! The jumble however came right to me with the o’s and C’s so I could Chuck a lot of Wood ! Great Wednesday jumble ! And I had a fun time with your friends whole description , Angela ! Good morning. Another successful day but not a blind solve but if I would have given it a minute more I would have gotten it because as I started to put down the letters the answer appeared. Loved you post Angela and your song choice which had me trying to sing along with them. Your ending yesterday with your pun had me shaking my head not in disgust but what I perceived as a bomb. You have to remember that Germans are not known for comedy. Plus it does take me forever to catch the punch line. Until tomorrow take care.
