⏰The METAL numbers fallen…the box just not wrapped right, It should have had a LINER to avoid this ugly sight… (And here we have IGUANA, which today will slip away, The same applies to GOATEE…’shave’ it for another day) The problem here ‘at hand’ today…(yes, a pun I’ve installed)… A broken clock that caused unrest…and IN NO TIME AT ALL…⏰
…An item arriving broken…Let’s FACE it, Folks, it does happen a good NUMBER of times…
So…Today….We WATCH as David EisenHOUR, and his wife, CRYSTAL open their newly arrived clock.(= TIME) …And no sooner (= IN NO TIME AT ALL) do they undo the box, when much to their surprise, they find that it’s broken. Talk about SLIPshod packaging…every number’s SLIPped down to the bottom of the casing…And they discover that it’s useless…it’ll tell NO TIME AT ALL…And you can see that David’s definitely TICKed off…thinking that maybe they sent him a clock that was SECONDS…Who knows…But ONE thing we know…As far as HOUR solve goes…between HOUR cartoon showing the clock that’ll tell NO TIME, and Crystal emphasizing the need to return it “before it’s too LATE”…this one solved itself…They discovered it was broken…IN NO TIME AT ALLhttps://tinyurl.com/2vcfju94 …And we’ve DIALED up HOURselves another good ONE…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of an old friend that I haven’t seen for quite some TIME now. He was constantly changing the sound that his alarm clock made…and I always told him that it seemed so foolishly TIME consuming…but he swore it just took mere MINUTES…and TOCK such offense that he even accused me of trying to PUSH HIS BUTTONS…So eventually we drifted apart…Funny though…after all this TIME, I still often wonder what he’s GETTING UP TO NOW… ⏰
…And a Shout 🗣️Out to David…All new anagrams today…Gotta HAND it to him for that! 🔠🙋🏻♀️

👍🏻 He put the pedal to the METAL, and rushed to the pet shop, Word from his next door neighbor? IGUANA sales non-stop… The LINER had been down the block…oh, line is what I meant, And the Father, with a GOATEE, knew his daughter was hell-bent …On having one as her new pet…and though he’s not enthralled.. His haste paid off, he made it there…and IN NO TIME AT ALL…👍🏻

💻 Today it’s mostly ‘come the norm, To shop where a line never forms… We just go online, No waiting, no sign… No crowds that around us might swarm…💻
🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️When Covid hit our hands were tied, Quarantining forced us to abide… We adopted new ways, To get through our days… As shopping on line hit worldwide…🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️
👍🏻 For the most part it really worked well, Where we dealt with phantom personnel… “Add to cart”…battle cry, As time went “buy” and “buy”… And for Amazon…coffers did swell…👍🏻
🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️But sometimes luck didn’t pay off, Damaged goods had just left us to scoff… Spoiled we had become, Midst of all the humdrum… Mostly hiccups though…not a real cough…🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️
⏰ And today with our couple we see, They fell victim to quite a degree… Received a useless clock, And they’re somewhat in shock… And here’s hoping there’s no return fee!⏰
With TIME as the main word, studied several two letter words to fit into this little idiom….when it came like a flash. Followed that brain storm with anagrams solved for a nice TGIF finish up.
Angela, for some reason, I looked up definition of ANAGRAM and found it to be two words with same letters spelled differently (cinema/iceman). Then why are jumbled letters called anagrams….just wonderin’? Thanks for the post. Terry

Good morning. Easy breezy again today but, when after getting everything done (no blind solve) I found out that I had Malet for the second word not Metal. Fortunately for me the two letters are the same just not in the correct place. Until tomorrow take care.

TGIF ! Nice way to end the work week of jumbles ! All the anagrams were there , except I had to shave and trim my GOATEE and then I looked out back and saw an IGUANA abut that word didn’t see me ! Anyway the jumble !, like some of us said was there with all the 2 and 3 letter words except for the one and TIME came right out ! Then the rest came easy ! Angela you pick out my favorite music groups like the Guess Who ! Great song choice ! And your usual great post ! So TGIF !! Wonderful week !! Let’s cap it off tomorrow on Saturday !!!!
