So…Today…A country road going through changes…Where once stood an old billboard (= SIGN)…now remains …well the remains. Having gotten to be an BYEsore, the owner decided it best to take it down…And now? There’s NO SIGN OF IT* …And we AD this done in no time today …It’s definitely an easy READ…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who was hired to put up billboards. He told us that as he was putting up a sign for soda, he noticed an obviously inebriated man standing and staring up at him for the longest time. The sign read, “Be happy…DRINK CANADA DRY”…And when my friend came down from the ladder, the man thanked him for the advice and said he was going to buy a bus ticket and give it a SHOT…(Give it a minute)…And when he was recently at work, he didn’t put up a billboard when he noticed a problem. The billboard he was told to put up read, “Niagara Falls, the tallest waterfall in the world”…and he was right not to erect it. Turns out it was FALLS advertising…But for the RECORD, his favorite billboard to date? “Bury me with my old 45’s…it’ll be my VINYL resting place”…📶🙋🏻♀️
…AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…The puzzle of November 12th, 2014…”He was told his billboard would be up in time for his grand opening, but there was”…NO SIGN OF IT 🔠🙋🏻♀️

🦍 There was a BABOON name of FLINT, Rather GRUFF dude who was a skinflint… When HIATUS was near, He acted quite queer… And of course people looked for a hint… So they wondered if maybe he’d quit, (He of course wasn’t much of a hit)… Seems he always had gripes, You know, one of those types… Camaraderie?…NO SIGN OF IT…🦍

👋🏻 There’s no remnants now of the old sign, Just two holes in the ground filled with lime… And it freed up some space, But it’s hard to erase… The memories of bygone times…👋🏻
Happy birthday ! What a great present on my birthday ! All the anagrams were there and the jumble was there with SIGN, it was my first word ! Then I saw NOt , but then it came with NO SIGN OF IT ! This Jumble was interesting to solve. The words “there was” immediately suggested NO. Also with so many short words, that could mean one of them is IT, as in IN IT. But that gave me NO FOGS IN IT. True, there was no fog; the weather was clear. So I tried ON IT and got NO FIGS ON IT. True again, I saw no fig trees. But neither of these relate to anything in the cartoon, so I took a peek at the answer and found that one of the words began with S. That immediately suggested NO SIGN OF IT, the solution. The same letters also yield FIG NOTIONS (not Newtons, but notions) and NO FOISTING anything on me, especially ONION GIFTS.
