  1. Good Morning, Everyone…📦 A PRIME CRIME 📦

    🎶Like a THIEF in the night…🎶…”Scene of the Crime” – Glen Campbell 1984  https://tinyurl.com/4yy8255r

📦 He should have realized that today is not like times before,
And at any given MOMENT there’s surveillance at front doors…
To COVET things that aren’t yours…can truly bring one GRIEF,
And here today he’s busted…since they’ve pinned him as a thief
Like a CASINO loser, seems he’s now run out of time…
‘Cause the camera definitely puts him at the “SEEN” OF THE CRIME…📦

Cameras seem to be all over nowadays…People like this guy here really need to PIC a different way of life…

So…Today…A story of “porch pirates”*…And we WATCH as Gene CAUGHTry and his wife, June Carter STASH, VIEW (= SEE) who was PICKED UP on their door camera. None other than a neighbor, ROB Reiner, wrongly TAKING the phrase “Community Property” to a whole new deGREED…I mean degree…Robbing a package from someone’s front door ( = the SCENE), is a CRIME…and this fool’s been SEEN on camera…And if you PICK UP on our question, and dialogue, and make TOTE, I mean note, of the TELL TALE quotation MARKs…this couldn’t be any easier…ROB didn’t notice the camera recording the…”SEEN” OF THE CRIME** …And we’ve LOCKED UP another one…ARREST my case…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The camera, of PORCH…and if you look real closely at the package in the CARToon, I’m pretty sure that’s Amazon’s logo we’re seeing…It definitely STOLE the show!

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who took a job at Amazon writing copy. They were looking to hire in the shipping department…sorting, packing, etc…and asked him to run an ad…specifying though that they preferred those applying have prior experience. He went with…”Professional BOXERS Wanted”….And when a slew of welter and heavyweights showed up? He was fired…Again…I swear…he’s definitely a PRIME example of someone who’s just not WRAPPED too tight…📦🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️While he did COVET the luck of the others, every MOMENT he spent in the CASINO had caused him GRIEF…and he knew it not wise to keep returning to the SCENE OF THE CRIME…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️ He couldn’t help but COVET the smallest MOMENT when,
There hadn’t been an ounce of GRIEF…things were so peaceful then
But him and that CASINO…?…He’s left without a dime…
And he can’t help but dub it now a true SCENE OF THE CRIME…🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. 💻 When Covid forced us to stay home,
And the stores we weren’t able to roam…
    We did shopping online,
    ‘Specially Amazon Prime…
And through websites for hours we’d comb…💻

    🛒 Easy shopping…’add to cart’…and pay,
Get your items within a few days…
    So complacent we were,
    Shopping?…Hardly a stir…
And it became the fast and sure way… 🛒

📦But with it devils reared ugly heads,
And a new wave of thievery bred…
    For with parcels galore,
Now left at our front door?
    Porch piracy started to spread…📦

    🤷🏻‍♂️And today, ‘prime’ example, indeed,
Of a case where someone lives off greed…
    And what simply amounts,
    To five-fingered discounts…
Is seen as a thief does succeed…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🤞🏻Luckily there’s a camera in play,
And the crime’s captured on its display…
    Hopefully justice reigns,
    And our couple regains…
    The package delivered today…🤞🏻

  5. Wow ! No tacos today ! The anagrams were all there ! But the jumble had me out there ! This one had me jailed ! I had no thinking near the SEEN OF THE CRIME ! I did enjoy your song Angela , and your friend made me smile as always ! I hope there is no hump tomorrow on Wednesday ! Have a great day today !!!!

  6. I followed Angela’s suggestion for a successful solve. Couldn’t think of a thing upon the initial examination….then waited about a minute or so for all to sink in. Then CRIME popped into my brain and the rest is history. Wow, chocolate covered nut day. That’s a keeper, and your friend, funny as always. Enjoy your Taco Tuesday. Terry

    • Tks Terry…And it works every time …if you study the cartoon…it’ll all fall into place..📦🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Took my time, looked at all of the clues (anagrams) and solved the Seen Of The Crime LOL. Wow, Glen Campbell. Haven’t heard his music in a while and I was not familiar with that song. Thank you Angela. Stan

  8. Good morning. Another one in the books with good results. Not much time spent on either parts of jumble. The word that gave the most grief was GRIEF. Once the letters were down for the cartoon I saw the second and last word in about a minute which left the letters for the first word. First time hearing the Glen Campbell song. Not bad Angela but not as good as your post today. Until tomorrow take care.

  9. Casino stumped me but after looking that solution up, the cartoon was a good solve. Chuck.

  10. Casino stumped me,but having looked up that anagram, the cartoon was a quick solve.Tried to post this comment online, but no luck.Chuck.

  11. CASINO took a long time to solve, even though the last time I solved it pretty quickly. The answer was easy once the words were solved.
