  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🛞 GETTING A GRIP! 🛞

🎶 It’s hard enough, I know…to find the strength to GO, back to where it all began…It’s hard to enough to GAIN, any TRACTION in the rain…You know it’s hard for me to understand…🎶 “Traction In The Rain” – David Crosby 1971 https://tinyurl.com/ydh6zx38

🛞 Before I even start I’m taking CATTLE off the shelf,

The same thing goes for AGENCY…not up to stress myself…

This puzzle about tires, was ICING on the cake,

And as it’s telling us right here…long time it didn’t take

It ranked a definite BRAVO…Folks all got in on the action…

And couldn’t wait to purchase them…so they could all GAIN TRACTION!🛞

So…Today’s cartoon brings us to what appears to be an outdoor garage, where we see a mechanic singing the praises of the new “INFLATABLE TIRES” for a car. And I’m going to go out on a RIM here, and take a guess that the time is circa early 1900’s. I could be wrong, but since it’s pretty well known that Math, isn’t my strong suit, I’m just ROLLING the dice. I tried doing some research on TIRES, but I came up a little FLATJohn Boyd Dunlop, Robert Thomson, Charles Goodyear...With so many names being ROLLED around, it was just too much PRESSURE, and to be honest, it WORE me OUT…So I just quit, because not only was I TIREd, I started to feel like I was losing my GRIP besides…But if anyone out there is interested in the History, feel free to go right aTREAD and look it up…Anyway…Speaking with our mechanic, we see a well-dressed gentleman, perhaps trying to WRENCH some information from him regarding the new “rage“. And the mechanic is heard telling him that these NEW TIRES are “selling like hotcakes”….And voila! The NUTS and BOLTS of our answer…After the new TIRES were introduced, it didn’t take long for them to…GAIN TRACTIONhttps://tinyurl.com/ybmtfcv2  Good one, David! GRIPPING!

Jeff’s💎gems? You gotta love the stylish TREADS on the gentleman…and the hood ornament’s a CLASSIC touch…

So…There you have it, Folks..Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe… And I’ll leave you with a little TIRE humor…You used to be able to FILL your TIRES with AIR for free, or at best a quarter…Now it’s usually aROUND a dollar…I guess that’s INFLATION for you! 🛞🙋🏻‍♀️

…And should anyone notice…Yes, I’ve repeated most of my post from the one back on February 08th, 2019. Hey…if it’s good enough for David and Jeff…who am I to RIDE roughshod over it…😉🤷🏻‍♀️

    • Saw TRACTION as possible solution, but couldn’t gain any ground with the first word. Nice, witty post, Angela….catch ya mañana!! Terry

      • YW, Terry, and Tk you. Couldn’t gain any ground…😂👏🏻👏🏻! 🛞🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️It was like dealing with a CATTLE herd trying to GAIN TRACTION with the new AGENCY…there wasn’t a BRAVO to be heard…and an ICING feeling began to form amongst the members…🤦🏻‍♂️

🐄 They all let out a “BRAVO” …’twas the ICING on the cake,
The photo book of CATTLE finally gave them their big break
An AGENCY behind it is what brought the wild reaction…
They’re thrilled to get it published…and finally GAIN TRACTION… 🐄

  4. it’s Friday ! And the jumble gave me a flat tire ! The anagrams were perfect for me to get ! But the jumble , I was thinking of Air , or an ING word , but GAIN didn’t come to me ! I tried to study it really hard , but I got real tired ! After reading your post Angela , I wished I could’ve got it ! Your description of it was very nice ! One of my very favorite bands was CSNY , and that I was in a band we did harmony like them and your song choice was really nice ! You helped ease the missed jumble and I’m ready for Saturday for a weekend of solves ! Thank you ! Everyone have a great Friday !!!!!

  5. Good morning. Got the words not the cartoon answer. Always enjoy your post Angela.it was nice to see how he changed the guys around in the two drawings. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Nice Friday Jumble. Took my time and got through the anagrams and the final solve. I’ll pass on the National Gazpacho Day Angela. I like my Tomato Soup hot. HA Thanks, Stan

    • YW, Stan. And I favor my soup 🥣 hot also…any kind, any time of the year. Love soup…🛞🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. A success jumble day with a solve of the anagrams and the cartoon, but I was stumped by the historical hoagie anagram. Growing up Dec 6 St Nicholas Day was like Xmas day in my German Catholic grade school, so I wish Angela and every one, a Happy St Nicholas Day! Chuck.

  8. I first tried finding an ING word, and found rotating. It didn’t work. I then tried an ION word, found TRACTION, and that left GAIN. Nice puzzle.

  9. Clever puzzle today. First thought the cartoon answer might end in “ing” but then saw “tion” and traction came to mind. You outdid yourself with the analysis this morning, Miss Angela. – you’re definitely on a roll. Happy Friday all! Betty

    • Tk you, Miss Betty. And I’m happy to see you here. ❤️ Happy Friday to you too. 🛞🙋🏻‍♀️
