  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🦊 SLEUTH PURSUIT🦊

    🎶…Peter Gunn Theme…🎶 – Henry Mancini – 1959  https://tinyurl.com/bdetzpab

🦊He’s known to CRUSH it every time, the Fox is smooth as BUTTER,

Goes up against the criminals…detective like no other…

His HABIT, to outsmart them…(and here’s where MODULE lies…

It wasn’t making any sense…alas time for goodbyes)…

It’s Shylock Fox we meet today…one always in pursuit…

Ranks an award for all he’s done being a SLEUTH FOR TRUTH…🦊

Today’s Guest Jumblers, Bob Weber, Jr https://tinyurl.com/24fy4yxe  and Scott Underwood https://tinyurl.com/4bpkjeha  bring us the STEAL long-running comic strip, SHYLOCK FOX. https://tinyurl.com/bdec4ubj  …And with Chief Mutt, Max Mouse and Deputy Duck looking on, we see Shylock receiving an award…And as our question gives us a huge CLUE = HONEST, and the Mayor’s dialogue gives us “detective” = SLEUTH, and “pursuit of facts” = TRUTH…one needn’t be a detective to SOLVE this one…Shylock received the award for his efforts as a …SLEUTH FOR TRUTH

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one.  Be well, be kind, stay safe…And join me in welcoming Mr Weber and Mr Underwood into the Wonderful World of Jumble…🦊🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🥯 Sitting eating a bagel with BUTTER, and drinking an Orange CRUSH soda, as was his HABIT lately, he tried to write his essay on the novel about MODULE usage, titled SLEUTH FOR TRUTH…🥯

🤦🏻‍♂️He’d need a memory MODULE for him to pass this test,
There’s no way he can CRUSH it, the subject not his best…
It’s kind of like with BUTTER…how thoughts lately seem to melt,
And it’s become a HABIT…there’s no wins beneath his belt
He really needs do better…for he’s no longer a youth…
The remedy? It’s hard to tell…he needs a SLEUTH FOR TRUTH! 🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. No tacos today ! All the anagrams were there , but just didn’t see it , it was a real neat jumble and welcome Mr Weber and Mr Underwod , sorry , I couldn’t get it , great post Angela , I’ll move on tomorrow with no hump to get over Wednesday !!!

  5. Welcome, Mr Weber and Mr Underwood I wakeup daily with jumble word and coffee. YOU will get hooked !!!

  6. Just a partial solve this morning. Solved anagrams and thought second word was TRUTH, but then all I could come up with was HUSTLE, which didn’t seem right. Thanks, Angela, for the early Henry Mancini…must have been late 50’s? A great theme song. See you Hump Day. Terry

    • YW, Terry…and thank you. But I’m not sure what you mean by late 50s? It was released in 1959:and I noted that…🤷🏻‍♀️🎶

  7. Fun Jumble today. Just like Terry, I figured the second word was Truth and the remaining letters could spell Hustle but that couldn’t be right. Then Sleuth popped into my head but I had to check the spelling to be sure. HA. Have a great day. Thanks, Stan

    • I’m in good company this morning as I also had truth for the second word and ‘hustle’ as the first word, so didn’t come up with the sleuth solution. Chuck.

  8. Good morning. Got stuck on the third word Module and had to look it up but I came up with the cartoon answer after putting all the letters down and double checking them as I’ve been screwing up in transferring them in paper lately. Enjoyed the song choice Angela and I believe up to this year it was on TV late at night. It was two half hour shows every night.until tomorrow take care.

    • I had HUSTLE as well but knew it wasn’t correct. Eventually saw SLEUTH but took me a few minutes. I love this cartoon. Very interesting 🤨 I’ve found. It’s not just for kids 🐐 any more. The seniors enjoy it too!

      Love,

      Shirley

      • Surely Shirley I think you got it.On Sundays Angela is kind enough to post the kiddie one that’s in the Daily News for people that ask for it. Take care.

        • Paul…Shirley wasn’t speaking about the Jumble…she was referring to the Shylock Fox comics. It’s a fun strip, with a lot of little hidden gems. 🦊🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. With the enthusiasm of youth

    I ferret out the truth

    As a detective of renown

    I track felons down

And I’m known as one very fine sleuth!

  10. Broke a rule. Had a word with two different possible answers (HUSTLE/SLEUTH). Not supposed to do that. I don’t feel bad that I didn’t get the answer. Over half didn’t.

    • There was no rule broken at all. Two different possibilities for a word only holds true as far as the anagrams for the day go…it has nothing to do with the puzzle’s solve. And a detective is a SLEUTH…”Hustle” for truth does not describe what Shylock Fox was…🦊🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Module took the longest today. Knew truth was right and eventually got sleuth from the letters I had. Once puzzle solved could easily get module. I don’t like anagrams with more than two vowels. Anyway, home stretch to Thanksgiving week.
