    💄The choices sometimes hard to make, you want an ideal MATCH,
    So many different shades abound, it’s tough on which to latch…
    One color may PROVE good as blush, but doesn’t match the lip,
    (And MODULE and KNIGHT don’t meld…I’m giving them the slip)
    Poor Mia can’t decide what’s right…she hoped that she would find…
    The perfect blend of color…but she can’t “MAKEUP” HER MIND! 💄

    So…Today…A MAKEUP counter in a Mall. We can tell because there’s an escalator at back with patrons descending. And we see two friends, MIA NOTSURE and NORA EYE trying to set the right TONE with choosing MAKEUP….And then we have our saleswoman, AVERY THING, throwing a little SHADE with her one-LINER, paying some LIP service by suggesting MIA buy them all…You know she’s on a comMISSION to make a sale…

    Ok…I don’t want to COME OFF as sexist, but maybe, just maybe, this solve might be an automatic read for the women more so than the men…We know MAKEUP…And with the word “Cosmetics” in our question, and the quotation marks, “MAKEUP” is staring us right in the FACE…Plus “decide” given to us twice? Even without the rest of the dialogue, the words HER MIND easily fell into GLACE, I mean place. And it was a cinch to POLISH this one off in no time. No LASHing out, no BRUSHing back, no taking a POWDER…simply nothing to CONCEAL…Just “Easy, breezy, beautiful”™️ https://tinyurl.com/t8xv2us Mia needed to “MAKEUP” HER MIND…

    So..There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and I personally always start my day with MAKEUP. It’s the FOUNDATION for a good day. It COVERS UP anything from the night before, and really SETS THINGS IN PLACE so I can POWDER through my day…And remember, male or female, it’s always important to use MOISTURIZER…It’s very good for your skin…You should let that SINK IN…💄🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♀️Even though she knew she had nothing to PROVE, and was well aware that she was no MATCH for the veteran workers adept at working with the MODULE in the last hotels, she still couldn’t MAKE UP HER MIND whether or not she’d take on the job of decorating the new KNIGHT themed rooms…🤷🏻‍♀️

    🤷🏻‍♀️A computer training MODULE was required from the start,
    And they’d need to PROVE completion of each and every part…
    The scores then scanned to find the MATCH that they were looking for
    The new program was dubbed the “KNIGHT” and they would hire four…
    She felt that she was qualified, but did she want the grind?
    She needed to decide and yet couldn’t MAKE UP HER MIND…🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. Great taco-Tuesday follows a great Monday jumble too ! No problem at all with the anagrams ! The jumble with the decision of what cosmetics to use she had to MAKE UP HER MIND ! (And when you have 3 sisters and girl friends and wives you know how shopping cosmetics is difficult ) so the quotations on the first word was the eye liner ! And the rest of the jumble completed her decision ! What a clever jumble ! It did not put a fear in me and it did not maScara me ! So the song choice was good loving spoonful ! This week is going well and I’m ready for some tacos ! Can’t wait to get over the hump tomorrow ! Everyone have some tacos today Tuesday !!!!

  5. We’re away from our regular computer internet…searched high and low for Daily Jumble…but could only find Answers. Had to wait for Austin Statesman to be delivered online, opened that up and got to working. Anyway, easy anagrams and didn’t study puzzle cartoon too closely for a blind solve. With letters in hand, all was easy. Good day for Tacos…!!

  6. This Jumble is a mathematician’s delight, even though the cartoon clue is most unmathematical. As though one wants to PROVE that every KNIGHT tour on a chessboard has a MATCHing or dual knight tour (maybe the same tour taken backwards), and that the set of all knight tours forms a MODULE over the ring of integers.

  7. When you try to MAKE UP a jumble
    It’s a task that will make you humble
    « I can do this with ease
    I know how to please »
    But it’s very easy to bumble!

    Over words you just cannot GLOSS
    Mistakes will make jumblers cross
    I’m too much of a rush
    Gaffes will cause you to BLUSH
    And the pun will not get across!

    • Just looking at the cartoon itself before unscrambling the words, in the spirit of the term “powder her nose” I was looking for the answer to be “ponder” her nose. Fun with Jumble!

    While decisions can heavily weigh!💄

    All the while with words that he does tease…
    Idioms and his puns,
    And he’s created tons…
    Making it all look like it’s a breeze…🔠

    Whilst we puzzlers just take it in stride…
    Wordsmith extraordinaire,
    And with such savoir faire…
