  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🔠PLAYING AT MAKING IT WORK🔠

🔠 Not in the same room anymore, but still working together,
    (Out on a PATIO’d be nice…according to the weather)…
But hard at work creating, all SOUPY thoughts at bay,
We see it’s Jeff and David ‘midst serious wordplay…
Their trusty dogs are with them, their GENDER not the same,
Both lovers of their pets indeed…both men very HUMANE
Today we watch as they discuss a brand new Jumble strip…
The bottom line, it comes down to needing GOOD “PUNMANSHIP”🔠

I’m down for the count, so no frills, and I won’t be long on WORDS here…

Today…The making of a Jumble puzzle…David at back, his beloved Miss Daisy Dog at his feet, deciding what words he’ll need to form a solve, as he drinks his coffee from his “I ❤️Jumble” mug. At front, Jeff, wearing an alma mater University of Michigan T-Shirt, Gizmo asleep at his stocking feet, sitting ready to compose dialogue that compliments. So with both of them WRITING together = PENMANSHIP, https://tinyurl.com/bdd7yu72  …COMPANIONSHIP, our question giving us that major clue, “PLAY ON WORDS”, = PUN https://tinyurl.com/59ndtd6p  and the quotation marks attesting to the fact that we’ll need one for our solve? David and Jeff need…GOOD “PUNMANSHIP”…And that SPELLS it all out today for another easy, breezy one…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and here’s looking forward to the weekend…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. TGIF ! At least for the anagrams ! They were all there for me ! But the jumble was not there ! After I looked it up , it made sense , but I didn’t see the PUNMANSHIP ! This one was not there at all for me ! I hope I’m not alone ! But I’ll take it ! So let’s cap this week with one tomorrow on Saturday ! And Angela , no song ,? Let’s end the week with a perfect solve !!!!!

  5. Kind of a total bust for me, too. Anagrams solved speedily, except for GENDER, and that was puzzling. Moving on, had no clue to the puzzle and so went directly to Angela’s post to find the answer. It has been a good run this week so I won’t kick myself too much. Enjoy your TGIF, Angela and will look forward to your Saturday post. Terry

  6. Fun. Jumble today. The anagrams were pretty easy and then it took a couple minutes but I did come up with the solution. I saw the letters for the first word as Good and then I saw the letters for ship as the end of the word in quotation. From there it fell into place.

Angela, what did you mean by saying you are down for the count ? Hope you are OK. Please have a good day. Thanks, Stan

  7. Good morning The words were no problem but Patio (of all the words) was the last one to get. Do not fret Jim, You and I were in the 2/3 rds group that didn’t get the cartoon answer. I’d say we are in good company! Until tomorrow take care.

  8. I got the anagrams and thought the first cartoon word was some but failed on the second. Otherwise a fun Jumble. Chuck.

  9. Didn’t take long for me to solve. First came up with penmanship, realized there is no u and there’s your pun. Yesterday’s took me twelve hours to get lucent. (put it down and picked it up many times) Can’t go to sleep until the puzzles are solved.

    Steve from Toronto

      • wasn’t even sure lucent was a word after I figured it out. Had to check. I’m familiar with translucent but not lucent on its own. That’s why so many people had a hard time with the word Chuck.

        • Professor and Steve…But the word’s been used at least 3-4 times in previous puzzles. Just as today’s solve is a repeat, so is LUCENT. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  10. If you’re looking for light-hearted fun

You can’t go wrong with a pun

    They’re clever and witty

    Work well in a ditty

And for effect, they’re second to none!

  11. I find the long “answers” in quotes that aren’t real words to be the most difficult solves, this one took a solid 15 minutes!

  12. Got the anagrams just fine but couldn’t figure out the puzzle during the morning attempt although I was sure ‘pun’ was part of it. It came to me on my second attempt during lunch. Tough one for me. Hope you feel better Angela!
