Today’s puzzle’s ‘bout IMPACT…how details must be adhered,
How lack of strict attention? Monkey wrench into the gears
It’s EASILY corrected, if one does the proper preps…
If not? Proof’s in the pudding…you’re just facing big MISSTEPS! 🔨
So..Today’s words…NEW…EL, no…but we do have three new anagrams, with just HISSU having last been seen in 2016. But the words and the solve were easy, breezy, and I NAILED it in no time…Besides, and this is in no means conDESCENDING, we’ve had the same solve in the past…so that sort of UPed the ante!
Ok…We have two carpenters, two hammers, a bent, damaged tape measure, and bent discarded nails…And a huge problem. Looks like the measurements were off…look closely at how different the height of the steps appear. So it’s most likely not just the SHORTage of material! …But whatever the MISSTEPS are, the BOTTOM line? They’re MISSing a STEP, and at this point they need to TREAD lightly…’cause I’m pretty sure the client will be UP in arms over this one….
So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and always be sure to hire a crew that knows a STAIR WELL…🔨🙋🏻♀️
🍣 THE SUSHI had such a SOUPY look to it, and the rice such an odd color, that he didn’t think the food would go down very EASILY, and he was concerned about what IMPACT these culinary MISSTEPS might have on his digestive system…🍣
🍱 He never did like SUSHI, so he’d get the SOUPY dish,
He knew he’d botch the name up…so he pointed to the fish…
The menu…it lacked IMPACT, there wasn’t much appeal,
Things printed rather slip-shod…nothing EASILY revealed
He hoped the food was better than the menu which lacked preps…

Good morning to start the week off ! The words were very EASILY done . It helped that ate some SUSHI before I looked at them . It made quite an IMPACT ! The snow is coming down here light and watery and SOUPY , but it’s going to get thicker by days end ! I had no problem with the jumble , after looking at the steps that were missing in the cartoon, they stepped right out in the letters of the jumble and it was obvious that two were missing and the workers had MISSTEPS ! Everyone have a great STEP in the right direction to start the week ! How about this 🎵wake up little SUSHI wake up 🎵 and , haang on SOUPY , soupy hang on ! 🎵
It was a blind solve this morning…and that helped me with anagrams. I had issues with SUSHI and IMPACT. IMPACT I finally unscrambled, then backed in SUSHI. So that about does it….hope you enjoy the holiday
If you knew Sushi like I know Sushi . . . The anagrams were clear not Soupy and came so Easily that there wasn’t much Impact or any Missteps here in Old Omaha. January crawls along out on the Plains. Wishing all a happy Martin Luther King Day. Let’s not forget the great things he did and left us still to do.
Good morning. Enjoyed it again today because other than Soupy the rest of the words were not automatic reads. You had to think a little. No blind solve but easy once I gathered the letters. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Actually, it was behind schedule because of some SOUPY SUSHI, which could EASILY have had an IMPACT on the construction.
A LIVELY STEP

Should have counted in pairs
To leap over the gap
Without a mishap
They should first of all say their prayers!
Imagine not ordering enough wood
I don’t know how they could
Can they count, can they measure?
This job’s not for pleasure
That’s something they misunderstood!
Next time they should get it all right
Stop giving people a fright.
Friends will just flip
As they try not to trip
Especially in the dark of the night!
I have just posted my limerick. As for steps, I cannot even see mine today as we have had a very heavy snowfall here in S. Ont so just on my to start shovelling. Hope I don’t miss the step!

Hi Helen. We definitely dodged a bullet here on the Island. We had a good amount of snow, but it turned to rain during the night, and dissipated. Still raining on and off, and very raw, and since last night we’re experiencing terribly strong winds…definitely wreaking havoc…I keep hearing sirens all day…🙋🏻♀️
Nailed it this morning. No missteps here. Happy Monday all!
