It was a small hump Wednesday ! The anagrams were all there except I had a raised eyebrow on ATRIUM ! But the rest were there ! The jumble was a little tough until I saw the cartoon with the fire underneath to help it go up ! So that gave me HOT AIR and FULL OF came then ! It was a fun one ! And that song , “Up , Up and away , by the 5th Dimension, I started humming it in my mind as soon as I started my comment ! Perfect ! A good Wednesday post ! Good morning. Enjoyed this one with a slight hiccup on Atrium like Jim. After awhile it came back to me from the past. It should have been a blind solve but nothing came to me until I put down the letters and saw the solution. Nice song pick Angela, you hit a home run on this one. Until tomorrow take care.

I’ll agree with others that you hit a home run with today’s post, especially the very apt song from the 5th Dimension. It was a hump day blind solve for me, and to check my work, unscrambled the anagrams easily until I came to ATRIUM, which I had to back in. I remember doing a presentation on this subject way back in college for an Air Force ROTC class. Enjoy your day, Angela. Terry

Today’s Jumble is interesting in several ways. First of all despite the caption, I thought the guy was indeed FULL OF HOT AIR. Just look inside his balloon. So I got the cartoon solution before I was able to find the four words. The first two words, SCOFF and CLOTH, were easy to find. The other two words, TURILA and RATIMU, were harder. But they have interesting properties. They differ in a single letter. One contains an L, the other an M. After some work I got the last two words as RITUAL and ATRIUM. Furthermore, after excluding the letters that appear in SCOFF and CLOTH, there remains in the cartoon clue ULTAIR, which is also an anagram of RITUAL! So there are two RITUALs in this Jumble. And that’s not all. If the L or the M were an N instead, the word would be NUTRIA, and if that letter were a G, the word would be GUITAR. So maybe the brothers were strumming on their GUITARs in the balloon and had a pet NUTRIA with them.
They all said “You’re going to extremes
You’re just full of fanciful dreams
But when the balloon took off
There was no reason to scoff
Instead there were gasps, cheers and screams!
🤷🏻♂️Before people took to the skies,
There were those who would always ask why…
Can’t it be achieved,
It ‘oft times left them peeved…
And constantly wanting to try…🤷🏻♂️
