  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🪙 CASH AND LARRY🪙

    🎶PENNY lover..🎶…”Penny Lover” – Lionel Richie 1983  https://tinyurl.com/nu6nm2y8

🪙 Kept in an old cigar box, Jeff had some coins to show,

Without a SHADOW of a doubt, he’s hoping to make dough…

HARDER today to find rare coins, he’s hoping in his stash,

Coins prove to be of value…and he’ll walk out with some cash…

(Seems UNITY’s not fitting in…it’s sitting out today,

I tried an angle here and there…but came up with no way)…

And as far as the word GROOM goes, the numismatist seems due,

To get a little work done…beard and hair has too long grew

But here’s to hoping what he finds can bring our Jeff some mirth…

And that the bottom line today? Jeff gets his MONEY’S WORTH…🪙

    Today…Coin collecting https://tinyurl.com/3rwsr9jx and it’s our Jeff who’s CURRENCY looking to DRAW a profit…

So…once again we hit PAY dirt today, because this easy, breezy puzzle speaks for itself. We see Jeff, having brought his coin collection to a numismatist  https://tinyurl.com/9sdbn2te Larry. And our dialogue “says’ it all…Jeff’s looking to get his MONEY’S WORTH https://tinyurl.com/yc6skf7h in more ways than WON…For what he PAID = MONEY Larry, as we see in our question, and for what he hopes his coins will be WORTH…And we’ve easily made CENTS of another one…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Of course there’s Larry’s eye loupe…But speaking of “Larry”, he looks way too detailed to be just a random person…so my MONEY’s on him having some pop culture connection…or he’s someone Jeff knows. But I didn’t have the time to INVEST doing any RESEARCH…The Pat Benatar  https://tinyurl.com/5bph85yu T-shirt is a blast from the past…At 71, she’s touring now…But the MONEY shot here today?…If you look real closely you’ll see that Jeff kept his coins in an “El Jumble” cigar box. No ifs, ands or BUTTS…that’s a keeper…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my friend who’s an insanely avid fisherman. One year for Christmas he gave all of us these coins he had made up that read, “In COD we trust”….Needless to say I HAKE the thing til this day…🪙🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🧏🏻‍♂️Looking to get one’s MONEY’S WORTH was becoming HARDER and harder, as there was UNITY amongst a group of customers as far as their five-o’clock SHADOW went…and they agreed that they’d all be in the market for a new barbershop to GROOM them…🧏🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️The GROOM thought he saw a SHADOW, it’s probably just his nerves,
This writing of the UNITY pledge is throwing him some curves…
    It’s HARDER than he thought it’d be…maybe he’ll try a joke,
He’s worried ‘bout emotions..he’d hate for his voice to choke
Maybe some levity is the way…he’ll say, “No where on earth…
    Did I think I’d find a bride like this…I got my MONEY’S WORTH”!🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. 🪙 Jeff collected coins for a long time,
Now and then he would give them a shine…
They were stored in a box,
    And he’s hoping…wood knocks…
He’ll score with his nickels and dimes…🪙

📰 Some were given to him by his Dad,
And the rest he saved from what he had…
He’s been at it for years,
    But now it does appear…
    That he answered a newspaper’s ad…📰

💲“I pay top dollar for coins of old,
I’m located at First and Humbold…
    Bring whatever you’ve saved,
And my fee might be waived…
It depends on your silver and gold”…💲

🤷🏻‍♂️So Jeff figured that he’d take a shot,
And find out if there’s worth in his lot…
    Get his coins all appraised,
    Hoping money be raised…
And it looks like our Jeff’s coins are hot…🤷🏻‍♂️

💲Larry’s telling him that he’s in luck,
That his collection will draw a buck…
Yes our Jeff’s hit pay dirt,
    He’ll get his money’s worth…
It’s a little gold mine Jeff has struck!💲

  5. What a great taco-Tuesday to follow a day like Monday for an easy jumble ! All the anagrams came right to me ! The jumble was worded with coin and hoping and that gave me MONEYS WORTH ! I ate won ton tacos earlier at Applebees and I think that’s what did it ! I love today’s jumble ! I hope this is start for a complete solving with week ! And Angela I always like the description of Jeff’s Gems ! Very interesting ! Lionel Richie is very good ! So COD be with you !! Have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!

  6. This puzzle came right to me for another Taco Tuesday blind solve. Finished up anagrams quickly, too. It’s always so interesting to read your postings, Angela, and today is no exception. Stay cool out there. Terry

  7. Good morning. After being away from the paper yesterday I got right to it this morning and just looking at the cartoon my first reaction was Monies Worth. After completing both parts it turned out to be Money’s Worth. Not bad!! Loved your post Angela and first time hearing that song from him. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Enjoy them while they last

Coins could soon be a thing of the past

There’ll be no more to add

    Then you’ll wish you had

Tried an awful lot more to amass!

  9. Definitely an easy Taco Tuesday with a quick solve of the anagrams and an even easier blind obvious solve of the cartoon! Chuck.

  10. This ole lady did it again got it all yea yea EL no problem have a blessed day

    • 👏🏻👏🏻! Kudos, Miss Eleanor. Tk you. Wishing you the same. God bless.🪙🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Another thing, Happy Taco Tuesday to Angela and all the Jumble devotees!Chuck.

    • Just sharing from my own frustrating experience, when an apostrophe is included in the Jumble puzzle solution, some online sources fail to include the added punctation mark. I realize this subject has been previously addressed in this Jumble comments section. It was stated that an added. apostrophe for words in the online solution is not in the Jumble creator’s control. My online source today was “daytondailynews.com/jumble.” Although the answer came easy-breezy to me, the apostrophe for the word “money’s” was not included. Arleen

      • Arleen, while I can understand your frustration, as you’ve stated, we have addressed it here before. And of course you realize that we here have nothing to do with any paper and/or online version of the puzzle. David is aware that these puzzles are sometimes published without the apostrophe, but again, as you’ve stated, unfortunately he has nothing to do with it either. Your issue needs to be brought to the attention of the paper, since voicing it here won’t get it seen by anyone who could help. If enough people complain, there might be some resolution. Sorry I can’t be of any help. 🙋🏻‍♀️
