    (The morning…after. And I have the nerve to still be speaking about food…The humanity! But it started playing…So, there you go…Kit 🍫 Kat it is)!

    8️⃣ We all could use a break sometime, it’s vital to our HEALTH,
    This hotel looks quite friendly…one of UNITY, not wealth…
    The clerk don’t look to GRILL them, his SYSTEM is quite clear,
    He’s there to offer a respite from all the wear and tear…
    He’ll check them in, and book a spa, and they won’t need to fuss…
    ‘Cause this guy has their number…they need a “HI-EIGHT-US”! 8️⃣

    In a repeat of yesterday’s puzzle, we’ve no new words, and 2 old and 2 new anagrams. We’ve seen TINYU many times, the last being September of last year, and RLIGL was last seen in 2012. But none of our words were 2 hard at all, and the Early Birds just 8 them all up…The solve? ZERO problems there…Between the “Hello” = HI, the 2 number EIGHTs domin8ing the panel, and the 4+4 = the US, we didn’t BREAK a sweat…

    So, if you’re anything like me, you’ve come to really appreci-8 these number puzzles. And today, the Jumble’s given US another 1 to be thankful 4…We find ourselves at the “You Can COUNT On Me” Hotel, where every guest is Number 1. Well, not literally, but you get my drift. And we find Don8 and his wife Rose8 checking in.     Jeff’s Gems? Don8’s comment to the 4 about possibly being his half-brother, is a 10! Too funny…And you gotta love those 2 things about number 4…his bow tie and that hair…he’S EVEN sporting sideburns! But the clincher is that pair of 5s in the background giving one another HI 5s! It’s 3mendous!

    So…There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good 1. Be well, stay safe, and I hope you all COUNTed your blessings yesterday.   3. 🤷🏻‍♂️Getting ready to take a HIATUS, he never expected them to GRILL him so much about his HEALTH, but in a show of UNITY, he allowed them to get it all out of their SYSTEM…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🙇🏻‍♂️ His SYSTEM far from perfect, but he felt he ruled the GRILL,
    He knew nothing of UNITY, he went by his own drill…
    The way he cooked though…far as HEALTH?…This time he lost his status…
    And people said “We’ve had enough…it’s time for a HIATUS”! 🙇🏻‍♂️

  4. Hope everyone had a very nice and fulfilling Thanksgiving ! Our son and daughter and our grandchildren had a nice Thanksgiving in California ! So as far as the jumble goes , the word that I saw was ‘height’ which had EIGHT in it and that left the four letters HI US which gave it up . Now I may be wrong , but when you say the three words it sounds like ‘hiatus’ which is not spelled like the solution and I couldn’t compare their meanings the same . I might be the only one , but it’s “the loneliest number that you’ll ever do “ so I’m glad I got it . Now the words were easy ! I didn’t spend much time on them , then I got hungry, so I took a piece of Turkey off the GRILL , so I stayed in good HEALTH , cause it tasted so well in my SYSTEM ! Well , we’re heading out to California for Christmas and New Years to see our family, and we can’t wait ! I’ll be doing the jumble out there . It’ll be nice , everyone have a great day !

  5. Not suffering from too much of a food overload this morning….so I thought my brain wouldn’t be too fuzzy….but it was fuzzy enough to not be a blind solve. As with others, EIGHT was the dead giveaway. But that’s all the Jumble gods gave up. Easily solved anagrams to finish up. BTW, saw a cartoon in the paper with no writing in it….Cartoonist said he was celebrating BLANK Friday…thought that was kinda cute !!! Will check out your song, Angela. Take care.

  6. The question is what kind of room did the 4 give the two 8s? From UIGHHSTE (ignoring word length pattern), one gets that the 4 gave the two 8s a HIGH SUITE, like it’s on the 88th floor.

  7. Away from my real paper this morning,so had to do the puzzle online.Anagrams came quickly, after a pause on system.Eight was an obvious cartoon solution,given the 4+4 clue.Don’t over shop today,or more importantly over spend.

    • The deals are so hard to resist today, and there’s so many offering free shipping too, which is always an added bonus. I caught some great buys between midnight and 2 this morning…The puzzle..Professor, I don’t know what on line site you’re using, but I think you might benefit from this one. The wording is large, and the cartoon is large, so you can pick up on a lot of the clues, plus it can be played interactively also, if you choose to solve that way…Just a suggestion…Enjoy your day, Prof, and safe trip home. 8️⃣🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Good afternoon. Back home from spending Thanksgiving with my youngest, wife and grandson plus my oldest grandson who had to work while that crew is up in Pa. On the way home I stopped off at the cemetery and then to a senior citizen home to visit a bocce friend and his wife that moved there a couple of months. When I got home the paper was waiting for me, I got the words with no problem but gave up on the cartoon answer. The quotation marks threw me for a loop again. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
